⁶⁴ You will render to them a recompense, O Jehovah, according to the work of their hands.

⁴ Give them according to their work and according to the wickedness of their practices. Give them after the operation of their hands. Render to them their recompense,

²⁰ But, O Jehovah of hosts, who judges righteously, who tries the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them, for to you I have revealed my case.

²⁹ Call together the archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. Encamp against her all around; let none of it escape.
Recompense to her according to her work. According to all that she has done, do to her. For she has been proud against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁴ Alexander the coppersmith showed to ward me many evils. May the Lord give to him according to his works;

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, O holy and true Master, do you not judge and avenge our blood from those who dwell upon the earth?

⁶ Repay to her as she has also given to you and you do this double to her–double again according to her works; in the cup which she mingled, mingle to her double again.
