⁹ And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it upon the horns of the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar,

⁶ And the priest will dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah, before the veil of the sanctuary. ⁷ And the priest will put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Jehovah, which is in the tent of meeting and all the blood of the bullock he will pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

²⁵ And the priest will take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and the blood of it he will pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering.

³⁰ And the priest will take of the blood of it with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and all the blood of it he will pour out at the base of the altar.

¹⁵ and he killed it. And Moses took the blood and put it upon the horns of the altar all around with his finger and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and made it holy, to make atonement for it.

¹⁰ For it was suitable for him, because of whom are all things and through whom are all things, having led many sons to glory, to complete the author of their salvation through sufferings.

²² And according to the law, I may say, almost all things are cleansed in blood and no forgiveness happens without the shedding of blood.
²³ Therefore indeed, it was a necessity that the copies of the things in the heavens are to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

⁴ For it is impossible that the blood of oxen and male-goats should take away sins. ⁵ Hence when he enters into the world, he says, ‘You did not wish to have sacrifice and offering, but you, yourself, completed a body for me. ⁶ You were not delighted in whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin. ⁷ Then I said, (as it has been written concerning me in the volume of the book), Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’ ⁸ After saying this above, You do not wish, nor were you delighted in sacrifice and offering and whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin, (which are offered according to the law), ⁹ then he has said, ‘Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’He assassinates
the first covenant, in order that he should establish the second covenant, ¹⁰ in which will, we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands every day ministering and often offering the same sacrifices, which are never able to take away sins. ¹² But having offered one continual sacrifice on behalf of sins, he sat down at the right hand of God; ¹³ furthermore waiting until his enemies should be placed under the footstool of his feet. ¹⁴ For he has completed in one continual offering those who are made holy. ¹⁵ And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after he has said beforehand, ¹⁶ ‘This is the covenant that I will covenant for them after those days, says the Lord, I will be giving my laws upon their hearts and I will write them upon their minds.’ ¹⁷ And ‘I may never remember their sins and their lawlessness anymore.’ ¹⁸ Now where the forgiveness of these is, there is no more an offering concerning sin.
¹⁹ Therefore brethren, having boldness for the entrance into the holy-places by the blood of Jesus,
