⁸ A righteous man is delivered out of trouble and a wicked man comes instead of him.

² The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours out folly.

⁶ A fool's lips enter into contention and his mouth calls for stripes.
⁷ A fool's mouth is his destruction and his lips are the snare of his soul.

²³ He who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.

¹⁸ It is good that you should take hold of this, yes, also do not withdraw your hand from that. Because he who fears God will come out from them all.
