23 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 24 Speak to the congregation, saying, You* get up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram and the elders of Israel followed him. 26 And he spoke to the congregation, saying, Depart, I beseech you*, from the tents of these wicked men and touch nothing of theirs, lest you* are consumed in all their sins. 27 So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan and Abiram, on every side. And Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the door of their tents and their wives and their sons and their little ones.

39 And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, which those who were burnt had offered and they beat them out for a covering of the altar, 40 to be a memorial to the sons of Israel, to the end that no stranger, who is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to burn incense before Jehovah, that he not be as Korah and as his company, as Jehovah spoke to him by Moses.

Be it far from me. Do not let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father, for your servant knows nothing of all this, less or more.
16 And the king said, You will surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father's house. 17 And the king said to the guard who stood about him, Turn and kill the priests of Jehovah, because their hand also is with David and because they knew that he fled and did not disclose it to me. 28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream. And he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? says Jehovah. 29 Is not my word like fire? says Jehovah and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, says Jehovah, who steal my words each one from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, says Jehovah, who use their tongues and say, He says. 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Jehovah and tell them. 2 Samuel 13:1-18

1 And it happened after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister whose name was Tamar. And Amnon the son of David loved her. 2 And Amnon was so frustrated that he fell sick because of his sister Tamar. For she was a virgin and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.
3 But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother. And Jonadab was a very sly man. 4 And he said to him, Why, O son of the king, are you emaciated this way from day to day? Will you not tell me? And Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
5 And Jonadab said to him, Lie down on your bed and pretend to be sick. And when your father comes to see you, say to him, Let my sister Tamar come, I beseech you and give me bread to eat and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.
6 So Amnon lay down and pretend to be sick. And when the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, Let my sister Tamar come, I beseech you and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat from her hand. 7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to your brother Amnon's house and make food for him.
8 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house and he was laid down. And she took dough and kneaded it and made cakes in his sight and baked the cakes. 9 And she took the pan and poured them out before him, but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have all men out from me. And they went out every man from him.
10 And Amnon said to Tamar, Bring the food into the chamber that I may eat from your hand. And Tamar took the cakes that she had made and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother. And she laid her hand on her head and went her way, crying aloud as she went.
11 And when she had brought them near to him to eat, he took hold of her and said to her, Come, lie with me, my sister. 12 And she answered him, No, my brother, do not force me, for no such thing ought to be done in Israel. Do not do this senselessness. 13 And I, where shall I carry my shame? And as for you, you will be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I beseech you, speak to the king, because he will not withhold me from you. 14 However he would not listen to her voice, but being stronger than she, he forced her and lay with her.
15 Then Amnon hated her with exceedingly great hatred, for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. And Amnon said to her, Arise, be gone. 16 And she said to him, Not so, because this great wrong in putting me forth is worse than the other that you did to me. But he would not listen to her. 17 Then he called his servant who ministered to him and said, Put this woman out from me now and bolt the door after her.
18 And she had a garment of various colors upon her, for with such robes were the king's daughters who were virgins appareled. Then his servant brought her out and bolted the door after her.

9 Beware that there not be a worthless thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing and he cry to Jehovah against you and it is sin to you. 10 You will surely give him and your heart will not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing Jehovah your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to.
11 For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command you, saying, You will surely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and to your poor, in your land.
12 If your brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you will let him go free from you. 13 And when you let him go free from you, you will not let him go empty. 14 You will furnish him liberally out of your flock and out of your threshing-floor and out of your winepress. Therefore Jehovah reward you good for what you have done to me this day.
20 And now, behold, I know that you will surely be king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hand. 21 Swear now therefore to me by Jehovah, that you will not cut off my seed after me and that you will not destroy my name out of my father's house. 22 And David swore to Saul. 9 And he said to them, You reject well the commandment of God, in order that you may keep your tradition. 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘He who is speaking evil of father or mother, let him be ended by the sentence of death.’ 11 But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, Whatever you might have been profited from me is Corban. (That is, a gift). 12 And so you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother, 13 invalidating the word of God by your tradition, which you have been given, and you practice many such similar things.

He who believes in him will never be shamed. 17 And I will make justice the line and righteousness the plummet.
And the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the hiding place. 18 And your* covenant with death will be annulled and your* agreement with Sheol will not stand. When the overflowing scourge will pass through, then you* will be trodden down by it.

For from which time the fathers fell-asleep, thus all things remain as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this is eluding them, (willing it to be so): that there were heavens from long-ago, and an earth established out of water and through water by the word of God; 6 through which water, the world which was then was destroyed, having been flooded in water. 7 But the current heavens and the earth have been stored up for fire by the same word, being kept to the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
