⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in order that they may nourish her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

³ You get from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith that is before the Jordan. ⁴ And it will be, that you will drink of the brook and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.
⁵ So he went and did according to the word of Jehovah, for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith that is before the Jordan. ⁶ And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening and he drank of the brook.

⁹ Arise, get you to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you. ¹⁰ So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, I beseech you, fetch me a little water in a vessel that I may drink. ¹¹ And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her and said, I beseech you, bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.
¹² And she said, As Jehovah your God lives, I do not have a cake, but a handful of meal in the pitcher and a little oil in the jar. And behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son that we may eat it and die.
¹³ And Elijah said to her, Do not fear, go and do as you have said. But make me of it a little cake first and bring it forth to me and afterward make for you and for your son. ¹⁴ For Jehovah says thus, the God of Israel, The pitcher of meal will not be used up, neither will the jar of oil fail, until the day that Jehovah sends rain upon the earth.
¹⁵ And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah. And she and he and her house, ate many days. ¹⁶ The pitcher of meal was not used up, neither did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spoke by Elijah.

⁴ But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a juniper tree. And he requested for himself that he might die and said, It is enough, now, O Jehovah, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.
⁵ And he lay down and slept under a juniper tree, and behold, a messenger touched him and said to him, Arise and eat. ⁶ And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and laid him down again.
⁷ And the messenger of Jehovah came again the second time and touched him and said, Arise and eat because the journey is too great for you. ⁸ And he arose and ate and drank and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mountain of God.

¹¹ Then the devil leaves him, and behold, messengers came and were serving him.

² And the courtyard outside the temple cast away outside and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations and they will be trampling on the holy city forty-two months.
³ And I will be giving to my two witnesses and they will be prophesying one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been dressed in sackcloth.

⁴ And his tail drags the third of the stars of heaven and he cast them to the earth and the dragon is standing in the sight of the woman who is about to bear, in order that whenever she has bore, he may devour her child.

¹⁴ And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she may fly into the wilderness to her place, that she may be nourished there for a time and times and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

⁵ And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to him, and authority to make war forty-two months was given to him.
