¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one out of the seven seals and I heard one out of the four living creatures saying like a voice of thunder, Come and behold! ² And behold a white horse and he who sits upon it holding a bow, and a crown was given to him and he came forth overcoming and in order that he might overcome.
³ And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come. ⁴ And there came forth, another horse of fire, and to the one who sits upon it was given to take peace from the earth, in order that they should slaughter one another and a great sword was given to him.
⁵ And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and behold. And behold, I saw a black horse and he who sits upon it had a balance in his hand. ⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, Liter containers of grain for a denarius and three liter containers of barley for a denarius, and do not hurt the oil and the wine.
⁷ And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and behold. ⁸ And behold, a pale-green horse and he who sits upon him, his name was Death, and Hades was following with him. And there was given to him authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long-sword and with famine and with death and by the beasts of the earth.
⁹ And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who have been slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the testimony of the lamb which they were holding to. ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, O holy and true Master, do you not judge and avenge our blood from those who dwell upon the earth? ¹¹ And a white robe was given to each, and it was said to them, in order that they should still rest themselves for a time, until both their fellow bondservants and those who are about to be killed as they were also, should be fulfilled.
¹² And I saw when he opened the sixth seal and a great earthquake happened, and the sun became black like hairy sackcloth and the whole moon became like blood; ¹³ and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree, having cast its unripe figs when being shaken by a great wind. ¹⁴ And the heaven departed like a scroll being coiled up, and every mountain and every island were moved out of their places. ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth and the great-men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every bondservant and free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall upon us and hide us from the face of the one who is sitting upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb; ¹⁷ for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

²⁰ For we are not able to speak, but the things which we saw and heard.

⁵ And lightnings and voices and thunders traveled out from the throne. And there were seven torches of fire burning in the sight of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God; ⁶ and in the sight of his throne, like a glassy sea similar to crystal, and in the middle of the throne and in a circle of the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first living creature was similar to a lion and the second living creature was similar to a calf and the third living creature having a face like that of a man and the fourth living creature was similar to a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw upon the right hand of the one who sits upon the throne a book having been written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals.

⁵ And one out of the elders says to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion who is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the book and its seven seals. ⁶ And I saw in the middle of the throne and the four living creatures and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as one having been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, being sent into all the earth. ⁷ And he came and has taken it out of the right hand of the one who sits upon the throne.

³ And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come.

⁵ And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and behold. And behold, I saw a black horse and he who sits upon it had a balance in his hand.

⁷ And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and behold.

³ and he cried out with a loud voice, just-like a lion roars and when he cried out, the seven thunders spoke their voices.
⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke their voices, I was about to write and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke and do not write them.

¹⁹ And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple, and there became lightnings and voices and thunders and an earthquake and great hail.

² And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters and like the voice of great thunder. And the voice which I heard was like that of harpists harping with their harps.

⁶ And I heard as it was the voice of a large crowd and like the voice of many waters and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah, because the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns.

³ Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one, your glory and your majesty. ⁴ And in your majesty ride on prosperously because of truth and gentleness and righteousness. And your right hand will teach you awesome things.
⁵ Your arrows are sharp. The peoples fall under you. They are in the heart of the king's enemies.

⁷ You, even you, are to be feared. And who may stand in your sight when once you are angry?

¹ O sing to Jehovah a new song, because he has done marvelous things. His right hand and his holy arm, has worked salvation for him.

² Jehovah will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.

⁸ He will swallow up death in victory and the lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. And he will take away the reproach of his people from all the earth. For Jehovah has spoken it.

⁸ I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding upon a red horse and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom. And behind him there were horses, red, sorrel and white.

³ and in the third chariot white horses and in the fourth chariot strong grayed horses.
⁴ Then I answered and said to the messenger who talked with me, What are these, my lord? ⁵ And the messenger answered and said to me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. ⁶ The chariot in which are the black horses goes forth toward the north country and the white horses went forth after them and the grayed horses went forth toward the south country.
⁷ And the strong ones went forth and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, You* get from here. Walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. ⁸ Then he cried to me and spoke to me, saying, Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

¹¹ Yes, take silver and gold and make crowns and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
¹² And speak to him, saying, Thus speaks Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch. And he will grow up out of his place and he will build the temple of Jehovah, ¹³ even he will build the temple of Jehovah. And he will bear the glory and will sit and rule upon his throne. And he will be a priest upon his throne and the counsel of peace will be between them both.

¹⁸ And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and upon earth.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of anything of the things which Christ did not work through me, except for the obedience of the Gentiles, in word and works, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. So-then, I have fulfilled the good-news of the Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle, as far as Illyricum.

²⁵ For it is essential for him to reign, till whenever, he should place all his enemies under his feet.

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; ⁵⁷ but gratitude to God, who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ For although we are walking in the flesh, we are not warring according to the flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but are mighty in God, toward the demolition of strongholds, ⁵ demolishing evil reasonings and every exalted thing which is lifting itself up against the knowledge of God and capturing every device of the Adversary to the obedience of the Christ;

²¹ He who overcomes, I will be giving to him to sit with me at my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father at his throne.

¹⁵ And the seventh messenger sounded, and there became loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will be reigning forevermore.

¹⁸ And the nations were angry and your wrath came and the time of the dead to be judged and the time to give the reward to your bondservants, the prophets, and to the holy-ones, and to those who fear your name, to the little and to the great, and to have decay for those who are corrupting the earth.

¹⁴ And I saw and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud I saw one sitting similar to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle.

² And I saw like a sea of glass having been mingled with fire, and those who are overcoming from the beast and from his image and from the number of his name, standing upon the glassy sea, having harps of God.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those called and chosen and faithful with him.

¹¹ And I saw the heaven has been opened, and behold, a white horse and he who sits upon it being called Faithful and True, and he is judging in righteousness and is making war. ¹² Now his eyes are a flame of fire and upon his head are many diadems, and he has names written which no one knows except he himself.

¹⁴ And the armies which are in heaven were following him upon white horses, having clothed themselves in fine-linen, white and clean.

⁷ And the first living creature was similar to a lion and the second living creature was similar to a calf and the third living creature having a face like that of a man and the fourth living creature was similar to a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one out of the seven seals and I heard one out of the four living creatures saying like a voice of thunder, Come and behold!

¹⁶ But indeed for this cause I have raised you up, to display in you my power and that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.
¹⁷ As yet you exalt yourself against my people, that you will not let them go?

¹³ Arise, O Jehovah, confront him. Cast him down. Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,

⁵ Ho, Assyrian, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation! ⁶ I will send him against a profane nation and against the people of my wrath. I will give him a charge, to take the spoil and to take the prey and to tread them down like the mud of the streets.

²⁶ Have you not heard how I have done it from afar and formed it of long-ago? Now I have made it occur, that it should be your to lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps. ²⁷ Therefore their inhabitants were of small power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were as the grass of the field and as the green herb. As the grass on the housetops and as a field of grain before it is grown up.

¹⁸ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder was worn, yet he had no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.
¹⁹ Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and he will carry off her multitude and take her spoil and take her prey. And it will be the wages for his army. ²⁰ I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they worked for me, says the lord Jehovah

²⁴ And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand. But I will break the arms of Pharaoh and he will groan before him with the groanings of a mortally wounded man.
²⁵ And I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon and the arms of Pharaoh will fall down. And they will know that I am Jehovah when I will put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he will stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

³⁷ You, O king, are a king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power and the strength and the glory. ³⁸ And wherever the sons of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, he has given into your hand and has made you to rule over them all. You are the head of gold.

¹⁹ And because of the greatness that he gave him, all the peoples, nations and languages trembled and feared before him. Whom he wanted, he killed and whom he wanted, he kept alive and whom he wanted, he raised up and whom he wanted, he put down.

² In the first chariot were red horses and in the second chariot black horses,

³⁴ Do not suppose that I came to cast peace upon the earth; I did not come to cast peace, but a sword.

¹¹ Jesus answered, You have no authority against me, except what was given to you from above. He who gave me to you has the greater sin because of this.

³ And another sign was seen in heaven and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems upon his heads.

¹⁰ If anyone holds those in captivity, he is going into captivity; if anyone kills with the sword, it is essential for him to be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the holy-ones.

³ And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast, being full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken from the blood of the holy-ones and from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marveled when I saw her– with great marvel!

²⁶ When I break your* staff of bread, ten women will bake your* bread in one oven and they will deliver your* bread again by weight and you* will eat and not be satisfied.

¹⁰ Our skin is black like an oven, because of the burning heat of famine.

¹⁰ And your food which you will eat will be by weight, twenty shekels a day. You will eat it from time to time.

¹⁶ Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem and they will eat bread by weight and with fearfulness and they will drink water by measure and in dismay,

⁶ The chariot in which are the black horses goes forth toward the north country and the white horses went forth after them and the grayed horses went forth toward the south country.

⁵ And one out of the elders says to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion who is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the book and its seven seals.

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered and bought us in your blood for God out of every tribe and language and people and nation.

¹⁰ Surely the inward thought of man will praise you, even the residue of inward thought will observe a festival to you.

⁶ and in the sight of his throne, like a glassy sea similar to crystal, and in the middle of the throne and in a circle of the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

³ saying, Do not hurt the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we might seal the bondservants of our God upon their foreheads.

⁴ And it was said to them in order that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any pale-green thing, nor any tree, except only men who do not have the seal of God upon their foreheads.

²² And I will send the beast of the field among you*, which will rob you* of your* sons and destroy your* cattle and make you* few in number and your* ways will become desolate.
²³ And if by these things you* will not be reformed to me, but will walk contrary to me, ²⁴ then I also will walk contrary to you* and I will kill* you*, even I, seven times for your* sins. ²⁵ And I will bring a sword upon you* that will execute the vengeance of the covenant and you* will be gathered together within your* cities. And I will send the pestilence among you* and you* will be delivered into the hand of the enemy. ²⁶ When I break your* staff of bread, ten women will bake your* bread in one oven and they will deliver your* bread again by weight and you* will eat and not be satisfied.
²⁷ And if for all this you* will not listen to me, but walk contrary to me, ²⁸ then I will walk contrary to you* in wrath and I also will discipline you* seven times for your* sins. ²⁹ And you* will eat the flesh of your* sons and the flesh of your* daughters you* will eat. ³⁰ And I will destroy your* high places and cut down your* sun-images and cast your* dead bodies upon the bodies of your* idols and my soul will abhor you*. ³¹ And I will make your* cities a waste and will bring your* sanctuaries to desolation and I will not smell the savor of your* sweet odors. ³² And I will bring the land into desolation and your* enemies who dwell in it will be astonished at it.
³³ And I will scatter you* among the nations and I will draw out the sword after you* and your* land will be a desolation and your* cities will be a waste.

⁵ Her feet go down to death. Her steps take hold on Sheol,

² And it will happen, when they say to you, Where will we go forth? Then you will tell them, Jehovah says thus: Such as are for death, to death and such as are for the sword, to the sword and such as are for the famine, to the famine and such as are for captivity, to captivity.
³ And I will appoint over them four kinds, says Jehovah: the sword to kill and the dogs to tear and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the earth, to devour and to destroy.

⁴ They will die grievous deaths. They will not be lamented, nor will they be buried; they will be as manure upon the face of the ground. And they will be consumed by the sword and by famine. And their dead bodies will be food for the birds of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth.

¹⁶ Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says Jehovah and they will fish them up. And afterward I will send for many hunters and they will hunt them from every mountain and from every hill and out of the clefts of the rocks.

¹¹ And he will come and will kill* the land of Egypt, such as are for death, to death and such as are for captivity, to captivity and such as are for the sword, to the sword.

¹² A third part of you will die with the pestilence and they will be consumed with famine in the midst of you and a third part will fall by the sword all around you and a third part I will scatter to all the winds and will draw out a sword after them.

¹⁵ So it will be a reproach and a taunt, a lesson and an astonishment, to the nations that are all around you, when I will execute judgments on you in anger and in wrath and in wrathful rebukes–I, Jehovah, have spoken it– ¹⁶ when I will send upon them the evil arrows of famine that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you*. And I will increase the famine upon you* and will break your* staff of bread. ¹⁷ And I will send upon you* famine and evil beasts and they will bereave you. And pestilence and blood will pass through you. And I will bring the sword upon you. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

¹³ Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass and I stretch out my hand upon it and break the staff of the bread of it and send famine upon it and cut off from it man and beast, ¹⁴ though these three men, Noah, Daniel and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the lord Jehovah.
¹⁵ If I cause evil beasts to pass through the land and they ravage it and it is made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the beasts, ¹⁶ though these three men were in it, as I live, says the lord Jehovah, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, they only would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.
¹⁷ Or if I bring a sword upon that land and say, Sword, go through the land, so that I cut off from it man and beast, ¹⁸ though these three men were in it, as I live, says the lord Jehovah, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only would be delivered themselves.
¹⁹ Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out my wrath upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast, ²⁰ though Noah, Daniel and Job, were in it, as I live, says the lord Jehovah, they would deliver neither son nor daughter, they would but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
²¹ For thus says the lord Jehovah: How much more when I send my four severe judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword and the famine and the evil beasts and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

¹⁴ I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. O death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your sting? Repentance will be hid from my eyes.

⁵ Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous. He is a haughty man, who does not keep at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol and he is as death and cannot be satisfied, but gathers to him all nations and heaps to him all peoples.

³ and in the third chariot white horses and in the fourth chariot strong grayed horses.

²³ And you, Capernaum, who has been exalted to heaven, you will be stepping down to Hades, because if the miracles had happened in Sodom which have happened in you, it would have remained till today.

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?

¹⁸ and the Living One, and I became dead and behold, I am living forevermore and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Amen.

⁷ And the first trumpet sounded and there became hail and fire, having been mixed in blood and they were cast to the earth and the third of the earth was burnt up and the third of the trees was burnt up and all the pale-green grass was burnt up.
⁸ And the second messenger sounded and something like a great mountain burning was cast into the sea and the third of the sea became blood; ⁹ and the third of the created things, (those who have life), died which were in the sea, and the third of the ships decayed.
¹⁰ And the third messenger sounded and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch and it fell upon the third of the rivers and upon the springs of the waters; ¹¹ and the name of the star is called the wormwood and the third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
¹² And the fourth messenger sounded and the third of the sun was pounded and the third of the moon and the third of the stars; in order that the third of them should be darkened and the day might not appear for the third of it and the night likewise.

¹⁵ And the four messengers were loosed, who have been prepared for the hour and the day, and month and year, in order that they should kill the third of men.

¹⁸ From these three wounds, the third of men was killed from the fire and the smoke and the brimstone, which traveled out of their mouths.

⁴ And his tail drags the third of the stars of heaven and he cast them to the earth and the dragon is standing in the sight of the woman who is about to bear, in order that whenever she has bore, he may devour her child.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them and they were judged each one according to their works. ¹⁴ And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, which is the lake of fire.

⁷ And the priest will put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Jehovah, which is in the tent of meeting and all the blood of the bullock he will pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

² They will be expelling you from the synagogues. But the hour is coming, that everyone who kills you may think that he is offering divine service to God.

⁸ But we are courageous and are delighted rather to be away from home, away from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

²³ But I am troubled from the two ends, having the desire, that I should vacate and be together with Christ, but it is much better rather

¹⁷ But even if I am a drink-offering upon the sacrifice and ministry of your faith, I am rejoicing, and even rejoicing together with you all.

⁸ Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor me, his prisoner, but suffer-hardship together with the good-news according to the power of God,

⁶ For I am already a drink-offering and the time of my departure stands-ready.

² who testifies of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ; as many things as he saw.

⁹ I John, your brother and partner in the affliction and the kingdom and the endurance which are in Christ Jesus, happened to be on the island called Patmos, because of the word of God and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.

¹³ I know your works and where you dwell–where the Adversary’s throne is, and you are holding-fast my name and did not deny my faith in the days, in which my witness, the faithful Antipas was killed beside you, where the Adversary is dwelling.

³ And another messenger came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer, and many incenses were given to him in order that he should give it to the prayers of all the holy-ones upon the golden altar which is in the sight of the throne.

¹³ And the sixth messenger sounded and I heard one voice out of the four horns of the golden altar which is in God’s sight,

³ And I will be giving to my two witnesses and they will be prophesying one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been dressed in sackcloth. ⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands, standing in the sight of the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone wishes to hurt them, fire travels out from their mouth and devours their enemies, and if anyone wishes to hurt them, it is essential for him to thus be killed. ⁶ These have the authority to lock the heaven, in order that no rainfall may rain on the days of their prophecy and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of wound, whenever they will it.
⁷ And whenever they completed their testimony, the beast which is ascending out of the abyss, will make war with them and overcome them and kill them.

¹¹ And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death. ¹² Because of this, O heavens and you who are dwelling in them be joyous! Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great fury, knowing that he has a small time.
¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who bore the male child. \ulnone\nosupersub ¹⁴ And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she may fly into the wilderness to her place, that she may be nourished there for a time and times and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent cast water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, in order that he might make the river whisk her away. ¹⁶ And the earth helped the woman and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was angry against the woman and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who are keeping the commandments of God and holding the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁸ And another messenger came out from the altar, he who has authority over the fire, and he shouted to the one who had the sharp sickle with a loud outcry, saying, Send forth your sharp sickle and pick the clusters from the earth, because her grape-clusters were prime.

⁷ And I heard from the altar saying, Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous.

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, See that you do not do that. I am a fellow bondservant of you and of your brethren who are holding the testimony of Jesus. Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁴ And I saw thrones and they sat upon them and judgment was given to them and I saw the souls of those who have been decapitated because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God and those who did not worship the beast, nor his image and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they lived and reigned with Christ the thousand years.

¹⁰ And he said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground.

³⁶ For Jehovah will judge his people and regrets for his servants, when he sees that their power has gone and there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.
³⁷ And he will say, Where are their gods, the rock in which they took refuge, ³⁸ which ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you*, let them be your* protection.
³⁹ See now that I, even I, am he and there is no god with me. I kill and I make alive. I wound and I heal. And there is none that can deliver out of my hand. ⁴⁰ For I lift up my hand to heaven and say, As I live everlasting, ⁴¹ if I flash my glittering sword and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to my adversaries and will recompense those who hate me. ⁴² I will make my arrows drunk with blood and my sword will devour flesh, with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy. ⁴³ Rejoice, O you* Gentiles, with his people. For he will avenge the blood of his servants and will render vengeance to his adversaries and will recompense those who hate him and will make expiation for his land, for his people.

²⁸ And Samson called to Jehovah and said, O lord Jehovah, remember me, I beseech you and strengthen me, I beseech you, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

¹² Jehovah judge between me and you and Jehovah avenge me of you, but my hand will not be upon you.

¹² Because he who makes inquiry for blood remembers them. He does not forget the cry of the poor.

¹ How long, O Jehovah? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

¹⁷ Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my only one from the lions.

¹⁰ A righteous man will rejoice because he sees the vengeance. He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked, ¹¹ so that men will say, Truly there is a reward for the righteous man. Truly there is a God who judges in the earth.

⁹ We do not see our signs. There is no more any prophet, nor any among us who knows how long. ¹⁰ How long, O God, will the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?

¹⁰ Why should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of your servants which is shed be known among the nations in our sight.

³ Jehovah, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph? ⁴ They pour out words, they speak arrogantly. All the workers of wickedness boast of themselves.

² to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this who is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
² Why are you red in your apparel and your garments like he who treads in the wine vat? ³ I have trodden the winepress alone and of the peoples there was no man with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments and I have stained all my garments. ⁴ For the day of vengeance was in my heart and the year of my redeemed has come.
⁵ And I looked and there was none to help. And I wondered that there was none to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. And my wrath, it upheld me. ⁶ And I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.

¹³ Then I heard a holy one speaking and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, How long will be the vision of the continual burnt offering and the transgression that make desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long will it be to the end of these wonders?

¹² Then the messenger of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of hosts, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?

⁷ Now, should God not do the avenging of his chosen who are crying to him day and night? Also, should he not have patience upon them?
⁸ I say to you, that he will be doing the avenging on them quickly.
However, when the Son of Man comes, will he then be finding the faith upon the earth?

²² Because these are days of vengeance, that all things which have been written may be fulfilled.

¹⁹ Beloved, do not be avenging yourselves, but give a chance for the wrath of God; for it has been written, ‘Vengeance is for me. I will be repaying, says the Lord.’

⁶ if indeed it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who are afflicting you; ⁷ and to you who are afflicted with us, a rest at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the messengers of his power, ⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ,

²⁴ and to Jesus the intermediary of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which speaks better than that of Abel.

⁷ And write to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia:
He (the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will lock, except he who opens and no one will open) says these things:

¹⁰ Because you kept the word of my endurance, I also will be keeping you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole inhabited-earth, to test those who are dwelling upon the earth.

³ And they are singing the song of Moses the bondservant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; your ways are righteous and true, the King of the nations. ⁴ Who should never fear you, Lord, and should glorify your name? Because only you are holy, because all the nations will be coming and will be worshiping in your sight, because your righteousnesses were manifested.

⁵ And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you judged these things; ⁶ because they poured out the blood of holy-ones and prophets and you gave blood to them to drink because they are worthy. ⁷ And I heard from the altar saying, Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous.

²⁰ Be joyous over her: heaven and the holy-ones and the apostles and the prophets, because God has judged your condemnation from her

²⁴ And the bloods of prophets and of holy-ones and of all who have been slaughtered upon the earth was found in her.

¹³ But go your way till the end is. For you will rest and will stand in your lot at the end of the days

²¹ Now brother will be giving up brother to death and the father his child and children will be standing up against parents and will be slaying them.

³⁴ Because of this, behold, I am sending to you prophets and wise men and scribes, and out of them you will be killing and will be crucifying, and some of them you will be scourging in your synagogues and will be persecuting from city to city, ³⁵ so that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

⁴⁰ God having foreseen something better concerning us, in order that they should not be completed separate from us.

⁴ But you have a few names in Sardis who did not defile their garments and they will be walking with me in white, because they are worthy. ⁵ He who overcomes this, he will be dressed in white garments, and I will never wipe-away his name out of the Book of Life and I will confess his name in the sight of my Father and in the sight of his messengers.

⁹ I saw and behold after these things, a large crowd, which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and languages, standing in the sight of the throne and in the sight of the Lamb, having been dressed in white robes and palm trees in their hands;

¹⁴ And I said to him, My lord, you know.
And he said to me, These are those who are coming out of the great affliction and they have rinsed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ And it was given to it to give breath to the image of the beast, in order that the image of the beast should speak and in order that it should make as many as would not worship to the image of the beast in order that they should be killed.

¹³ And I heard the voice from heaven saying to me, Write, the dead ones who die in the Lord are fortunate from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, in order that they should rest themselves from their labors, and their works follow after them.

¹¹ And he said, Go forth and stand upon the mountain before Jehovah. And behold, Jehovah passed by and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before Jehovah, but Jehovah was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but Jehovah was not in the earthquake. ¹² And after the earthquake a fire, but Jehovah was not in the fire. And after the fire a still small voice.
¹³ And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, there came a voice to him and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

⁹ Behold, the day of Jehovah comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy the sinners of it out of it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven and the constellations of it will not give their light. The sun will be darkened in its going forth and the moon will not cause its light to shine.

²³ Then the moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed, for Jehovah of hosts will reign in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem. And glory will be before his elders.

⁶ She will be visited by Jehovah of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a devouring fire.

³ I clothe the heavens with blackness and I make sackcloth their covering.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give light to you, but Jehovah will be to you an everlasting light and your God your glory. ²⁰ Your sun will no more go down, nor will your moon withdraw itself, for Jehovah will be your everlasting light. And the days of your mourning will be ended.

⁷ And when I will extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and make the stars of it dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon will not give its light. ⁸ All the bright lights of heaven I will make dark over you and set darkness upon your land, says the lord Jehovah.

³⁰ And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. ³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of Jehovah comes.

⁹ And it will happen in that day, says the lord Jehovah, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon and I will darken the earth in the clear day.

⁶ For Jehovah of hosts says thus: Yet once, it is a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. ⁷ And I will shake all nations and the delight of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of hosts.

²¹ Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth. ²² And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. And I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. And the horses and their riders will come down, each one by the sword of his brother.

⁵ And you* will flee by the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel. Yes, you* will flee, just as you* fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And Jehovah my God will come and all the holy ones with you.

⁷ For nation will arise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places.

²⁹ But immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not be giving her radiance, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;

⁴⁵ Now there became darkness upon all the earth from the sixth hour until the ninth hour

⁵⁴ Now the centurion and those guarding Jesus with him, having seen the earthquake and the things which happened, were extremely afraid, saying, This one truly was the Son of God.

² And behold, there became a great earthquake; for a messenger of the Lord, having come down from heaven, came and rolled away the stone from the door and was sitting upon it.

²⁴ But in those days, after that affliction, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not be giving her radiance, ²⁵ and the stars will be falling from the heaven and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

³³ Now when it became the sixth hour, there became darkness over the whole earth until the ninth hour

² And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is allied with Ephraim. And his heart trembled and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.

⁹ The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.

⁴ And all the host of heaven will be dissolved and the heavens will be rolled together as a scroll. And all their host will fade away as the leaf fades from the vine and as a fading leaf from the fig tree.

⁷ And when I will extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and make the stars of it dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon will not give its light.

¹⁴ He cried aloud and said thus, Hew down the tree and cut off its branches. Shake off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts get away from under it and the fowls from its branches.

¹⁰ And it grew great, even to the host of heaven. And it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground and trampled upon them.

¹² All your fortresses will be like fig trees with the first ripe figs. If they are shaken, they fall into the mouth of the eater.

²⁵ And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and dismay of nations upon the earth, in perplexity from the noisy sea and the noisy billows;

¹ And the fifth messenger sounded and I saw a star from heaven has fallen to the earth and the key of the pit of the abyss was given to him.

²⁶ They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will grow old like a garment. As a raiment you will change them and they will be changed,

¹⁴ and upon all the high mountains and upon all the hills that are lifted up, ¹⁵ and upon every lofty tower and upon every fortified wall, ¹⁶ and upon all the ships of Tarshish and upon all desirable imagery.
¹⁷ And the loftiness of man will be bowed down and the haughtiness of men will be brought low and Jehovah alone will be exalted in that day.

¹⁰ For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, nor will my covenant of peace be shaken, says Jehovah who has mercy on you.

²³ Truly it is in vain from the heights, the multitude on the mountains. Truly in Jehovah our God is the salvation of Israel.

²³ I beheld the earth, and behold, it was waste and void and the heavens and they had no light. ²⁴ I beheld the mountains, and behold, they trembled and all the hills moved to and fro. ²⁵ I beheld, and behold, there was no man and all the birds of the heavens were fled. ²⁶ I beheld, and behold, the fruitful field was a wilderness and all the cities of it were broken down at the presence of Jehovah and before his fierce anger.

²⁵ Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, says Jehovah, which destroys all the earth. And I will stretch out my hand upon you and roll you down from the rocks and will make you a burnt mountain.

²⁰ so that the fishes of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep upon the earth and all the men who are upon the face of the earth, will shake at my presence. And the mountains will be thrown down and the steep places will fall and every wall will fall to the ground.

⁵ The mountains quake at him and the hills melt and the earth is upheaved at his presence. Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.

⁶ He stood and measured the earth. He beheld and drove apart the nations. And the eternal mountains were scattered. The everlasting hills bowed. His traveling are everlasting.

¹⁰ The mountains saw you and were afraid. The tempest of waters passed by. The deep uttered its voice and lifted up its hands on high.

¹¹ they themselves will be perishing, but you are remaining and they will all become-obsolete like a garment; ¹² and you will coil them up like an outer dressing and they will be changed, but you are the same and your years will not be failing.’ ¹³ But toward which of the messengers has he previously said, ‘Sit at my right hand, until I should place your enemies as the footstool of your feet?

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will be coming like a thief in the night; in which the heavens will be passing away with a crashing-sound, and the elements will be dissolved, being burnt with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it will be burned up.

²⁰ And every island fled away and the mountains were not found.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and the one who sits upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and there is no sea anymore.

¹⁶ And these five kings fled and hid themselves in the cave at Makkedah. ¹⁷ And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hidden in the cave at Makkedah.

² And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. And because of Midian the sons of Israel made for themselves the dens which are in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds.

⁶ When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait (for the people were distressed), then the people hid themselves in caves and in thickets and in rocks and in coverts and in pits.

¹⁹ who does not respect the persons of rulers, nor regards the rich more than the poor. For they all are the work of his hands.
²⁰ In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away and the mighty are taken away without hand.

¹⁰ Now therefore be wise, O you* kings. Be instructed, you* judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest he is angry and you* perish in the way, because his wrath will soon be kindled. All those who take refuge in him are fortunate.

¹ Hear this, all you* peoples. Listen, all you* inhabitants of the world, ² both low and high, rich and poor together.

¹² He will cut off the spirit of rulers. He is fearful to the kings of the earth.

⁵ The Lord at your right hand will strike through kings in the day of his wrath. ⁶ He will judge among the nations. He will fill with dead bodies. He will strike through the head in many countries.

¹⁰ Enter into the rock and hide you in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah and from the glory of his majesty.

¹⁹ And men will go into the caves of the rocks and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.

²¹ to go into the caverns of the rocks and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Jehovah and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.

²¹ And it will happen in that day, that Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high and the kings of the earth upon the earth. ²² And they will be gathered together as prisoners are gathered in the pit and will be shut up in the prison. And after many days they will be visited.

²² But this is a people robbed and plundered. They are all of them snared in holes and they are hid in prison-houses. They are for a prey and none delivers, for a spoil and none says, Restore.

¹⁷ They will lick the dust like a serpent. Like crawling things of the earth they will come trembling out of their borders. They will come with fear to Jehovah our God and will be afraid because of you.

³⁸ (of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in the wildernesses and mountains and caves and the holes of the earth.

⁹ And the kings of the earth, who fornicated and were promiscuous with her, will weep and will grieve over her, whenever they look upon the smoke of her fire, ¹⁰ standing from afar because of their fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! Because in one hour your judgment has come. ¹¹ And the merchants of the earth will weep and will mourn over her, because no one is buying their cargo anymore;

¹³ And he has been dressed in a garment, having been dipped in blood and his name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which are in heaven were following him upon white horses, having clothed themselves in fine-linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And a sharp two edged long-sword travels out from his mouth, in order that he might strike the nations with it and he will shepherd them with an iron rod and he tramples on the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God, the Almighty. ¹⁶ And he has upon his garment and upon his thigh a name has been written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
¹⁷ And I saw a messenger standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come-here. Be gathered together to the great supper of God; ¹⁸ in order that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit upon them and the flesh of all men, both free men and bondservants and both the little and the great.
¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, have been gathered together to make a war with the one who sits upon the horse and with his army. ²⁰ And the beast was clutched and with him the false prophet who made the signs in his sight, in which he misled those who had received the mark of the beast and those who are worshiping his image. The two were cast while living into the lake of fire which is burning in brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were killed with the long-sword of the one who sits upon the horse, which came forth out of his mouth and all the birds were fed from their flesh.

⁹ You will smash them with a rod of iron, you will dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

⁵ There they were in great fear, because God is in the generation of the righteous.

⁸ Your hand will find out all your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you. ⁹ You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath and the fire will devour them. ¹⁰ You will destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from among the sons of men. ¹¹ Because they intended evil against you. They conceived a device which they are not able to perform. ¹² Because you will make them turn their back. You will make ready with your bowstrings against their face.

³ And death will be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where I have driven them, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁸ The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle will come up on their altars and they will say to the mountains, Cover us and to the hills, Fall on us.

¹⁴ So the messenger who talked with me said to me, Cry, saying, Jehovah of hosts says thus: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. ¹⁵ And I am very greatly displeased with the nations that are at ease. For I was but a little displeased and they helped forward the affliction.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You have said so. However I am saying to you, From now on, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming upon the clouds of heaven.

³⁰ Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall upon us, and to the hills, Hide us.

⁷ and to you who are afflicted with us, a rest at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the messengers of his power, ⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength,

² And immediately I became in the spirit and behold, a throne was placed in heaven, and sitting upon the throne

⁵ And lightnings and voices and thunders traveled out from the throne. And there were seven torches of fire burning in the sight of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God;

⁹ And whenever the living creatures gave glory and honor and thanks to the one who is sitting upon the throne, to the one who lives forevermore,

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, O holy and true Master, do you not judge and avenge our blood from those who dwell upon the earth?

⁶ and swore by the one who lives forevermore, who created the heaven and the things in it and the earth and the things in it and the sea and the things in it–that time will be no longer delay.

³ If you, Jehovah, should note iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? ⁴ But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.

⁶ Wail you*, for the day of Jehovah is at hand. It will come as destruction from the Almighty. ⁷ Therefore all hands will be feeble and every heart of man will melt. ⁸ And they will be dismayed. Pangs and sorrows will take hold. They will be in pain as a woman in travail. They will look in amazement one at another, their faces, faces of flame.
⁹ Behold, the day of Jehovah comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy the sinners of it out of it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven and the constellations of it will not give their light. The sun will be darkened in its going forth and the moon will not cause its light to shine.
¹¹ And I will punish the world for the evil and the wicked for their iniquity. And I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will humble the haughtiness of the terrible. ¹² I will make a man more rare than fine gold, even a man than the pure gold of Ophir. ¹³ Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble and the earth will be shaken out of its place, in the wrath of Jehovah of hosts and in the day of his fierce anger.
¹⁴ And it will happen, that as the chased roe and as sheep that no man gathers, they will turn every man to his own people and will flee every man to his own land. ¹⁵ Everyone who is found will be thrust through and everyone who is taken will fall by the sword. ¹⁶ Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be rifled and their wives ravished.
¹⁷ Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who will not regard silver and as for gold, they will not delight in it. ¹⁸ And their bows will dash the young men in pieces. And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye will not spare children.
¹⁹ And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. ²⁰ It will never be inhabited, nor will it be dwelt in from generation to generation. Neither will the Arabian pitch tent there, nor will shepherds make their flocks to lie down there. ²¹ But wild beasts of the desert will lie there and their houses will be full of doleful creatures. And ostriches will dwell there and wild goats will dance there. ²² And wolves will cry in their castles and jackals in the pleasant palaces. And her time is near to come and her days will not be prolonged.

⁷ Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he will be saved out of it.

¹¹ And Jehovah utters his voice before his army, for his camp is very great. For he is strong who executes his word. For the day of Jehovah is great and very fearful and who can abide it?

³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of Jehovah comes.

¹⁴ The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near and hastens greatly, the voice of the day of Jehovah. The mighty man cries there bitterly. ¹⁵ That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of waste and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, ¹⁶ a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fortified cities and against the high battlements.
¹⁷ And I will bring distress upon men, that they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against Jehovah and their blood will be poured out as dust and their flesh as manure. ¹⁸ Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. For he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.

² But who can abide the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like launder's soap.

³⁶ Therefore, watch in every season, beseeching, in order that you might be deemed worthy to flee away from all the things which are about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.

⁵ But you store up wrath for yourself according to your hardness and unrepentant heart in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁶ And the messengers who did not keep to their own principality, but having left their own house, he has kept to the judgment of the great day in eternal bonds under blackness.

¹⁴ for they are spirits of demons, doing signs; which travel out to the kings of the whole inhabited-earth, to gather them together to the war of that great day of God the Almighty.
