²⁰ And the length of Jeroboam’s reign was twenty-two years, and he rested with his fathers, and his son Nadab reigned in his place.

¹⁰ Then David rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David.

He did not leave to Jeroboam anyone that breathed, but destroyed them all according to the word that the LORD had spoken through His servant Ahijah the Shilonite, ³⁰ because of the sins Jeroboam had committed and had caused Israel to commit, and because he had provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger. ³¹ As for the rest of the acts of Nadab, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

¹² so a man lies down and does not rise. Until the heavens are no more, he will not be awakened or roused from sleep.

⁵ I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for the LORD sustains me.

⁸ I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
