⁴³ Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.

⁴ Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”

³⁰ And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one finds out about this!”

¹⁶ warning them not to make Him known. ¹⁷ This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: ¹⁸ “Here is My Servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations.

⁹ As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about this vision until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”

⁴³ Jesus promptly sent him away with a stern warning:

¹² But He warned them sternly not to make Him known.

³⁶ Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more He ordered them, the more widely they proclaimed it.

¹⁴ “Do not tell anyone,” Jesus instructed him. “But go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering Moses prescribed for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

⁵⁶ Her parents were astounded, but Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.

³⁰ While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them.
