² Attend to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray.

⁴ To the LORD I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy mountain. Selah

¹⁶ The LORD is King forever and ever; the nations perish from His land.

⁷ Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may enter! ⁸ Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

² O You who listen to prayer, all people will come to You.

¹² Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.

³ Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she places her young near Your altars, O LORD of Hosts, my King and my God.
