⁵ What is Paul? What thing is Apollos? Only ministers are they, by whom ye believed: even as the Lord gave every man grace.

¹⁵ And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one: to every man after his ability, and straightway departed.

² even as they declared them unto us, which from the beginning saw their selves, and were ministers at the doing:

²⁷ John answered, and said, "A man can receive nothing at all except it be given him from heaven.

¹⁴ But how shall they call on him, on whom they believed not? How shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."

³ For I say, through the grace that unto me is given, to every man among you: that no man esteem of himself more than it becometh him to esteem — But that he discreetly judge of himself according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. ⁴ As we have many members in one body, and all members have not one office: ⁵ So we, being many, are one body in Christ — and every man, among ourselves, one another's members. ⁶ Seeing that we have divers gifts according to the grace that is given unto us: if any man have the gift of prophecy, let him have it that it be agreeing unto the faith;

⁷ So then, neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth: but God which gave the increase.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God given unto me, as a wise builder have I laid the foundation; and another hath built thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth upon.

¹ Let men this wise esteem us, even as the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God. ² Furthermore it is required of the stewards that they be found faithful.

¹⁷ If I do it with a good will, I have a reward. But if I do it against my will, an office is committed unto me.

⁴ There are diversities of gifts verily, yet but one spirit. ⁵ And there are differences of administrations, and yet but one Lord. ⁶ And there are divers manners of operations, and yet but one God, which worketh all things that are wrought in all creatures. ⁷ The gifts of the spirit are given to every man to profit the congregation. ⁸ To one is given, through the spirit, the utterance of wisdom; to another is given the utterance of knowledge by the same spirit; ⁹ to another is given faith, by the same spirit; to another the gifts of healing, by the same spirit; ¹⁰ to another, power to do miracles; to another prophecy; to another, judgment of spirits; to another divers tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: ¹¹ and these all worketh even the self same spirit, dividing to every man several gifts even as he will.

²⁸ And God hath also ordained in the congregation, first the apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, then them that do miracles; after that, the gifts of healing, helpers, governors, diversity of tongues.

³ in that ye are known, how that ye are the epistle of Christ, ministered by us and written not with ink, but with the spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.

⁶ which hath made us able to minister the new testament, not of the letter, but of the spirit. For the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

⁵ For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus to be the Lord, and preach ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellent power of it might appear to be of God, and not of us.

¹ We as helpers therefore exhort you, that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

⁴ but in all things let us behave ourselves as the ministers of God. In much patience, in afflictions, in necessity, in anguish,

²³ They are the ministers of Christ — I speak as a fool — I am more: In labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prison more plenteously,

⁷ whereof I am made a minister, by the gift of the grace of God given unto me, through the working of his power.

²⁵ whereof am I made a minister according to the ordinance of God, which ordinance was given me unto you ward, to fulfill the word of God:

¹⁰ As every man hath received the gift, minister the same one to another as good ministers of the manifold grace of God.
