² Dearly beloved, now are we the sons of God, and yet it doth not appear what we shall be. But we know that when it shall appear, we shall be like him. For we shall see him as he is.

²⁶ that I shall be clothed again with this skin, and see God in my flesh.

¹¹ Thou shalt show me the path of life; in thy presence is the fulness of joy, and at thy righthand there is pleasure for evermore.

¹⁵ They have children at their desire, and leave the rest of their substance for their babes. But as for me, I shall behold thy presence in righteousness: and when I awake up after thy likeness, I shall be satisfied with it.

¹⁹ O how plentiful is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, and that thou hast prepared for them that put their trust in thee, even before the sons of men!

⁵ Unto them will I give in my household and within my walls, a better heritage and name than if they had been called sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that shall not perish.

² Who shall endure in the day of his coming, or who shall stand to behold him? For he is as trying fire, and as the herb that fullers scour withal.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

²⁴ "Father, I will that they, which thou hast given me, be with me where I am: that they may see my glory which thou hast given me. For thou lovedest me before the making of the world.

¹⁴ for as many as are led by the spirit of God: they are the sons of God. ¹⁵ For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear anymore, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, "Abba father."

¹⁸ For I suppose that the afflictions of this life are not worthy of the glory which shall be showed upon us.

²⁹ For those which he knew before, he also ordained before, that they should be like fashioned unto the shape of his son, that he might be the first begotten son among many brethren.

⁹ But as it is written, "The eye hath not seen, and the ear hath not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

¹² Now we see in a glass, even in a dark speaking: but then shall we see face to face. Now I know unperfectly: but then shall I know even as I am known.

⁴⁹ And as we have born the image of the earthy, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly.

¹⁸ But we all behold the glory of the Lord with his face open, and we are changed unto the same similitude, from glory to glory, even of the spirit of the Lord.

¹⁷ For our exceeding tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepareth an exceeding and eternal weight of glory unto us,

⁶ Therefore, we are always of good cheer, and know well that as long as we are at home in the body we are absent from God. ⁷ For we walk in faith and see not. ⁸ Nevertheless we are of good comfort, and had rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

²⁶ For ye are all the sons of God, by the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

⁶ Because ye are sons, God hath sent the spirit of his son into our hearts, which crieth "Abba, father."

²¹ which shall change into another fashion our vile bodies, that they may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.

⁴ When Christ, which is our life, shall show himself; then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

²⁸ even so Christ was once offered to take away the sins of many, and unto them that look for him, shall he appear again, without sin, unto their salvation.

⁴ by the means whereof are given unto us excellent and most great promises; that by the help of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldly lust.

²⁸ And now babes, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be made ashamed of him at his coming.

¹ Behold what love the father hath showed on us, that we should be called the sons of God. For this cause the world knoweth you not; because it knoweth not him.

¹ All that believe that Jesus is Christ, are born of God. And all that loveth him which begat, loveth him also which was begotten of him.

⁴ And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads.
