⁷ And the third year of his reign he sent, of his lords: Benhail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah:

⁵ Behold, I have taught you ordinances and laws, such as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do even so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

¹⁰ They shall teach Jacob thy judgments and Israel thy laws. They shall put cense before thy nose and whole sacrifices upon thine altar.

³ There will come many days in Israel, in which there shall be no true God — nor priest that teacheth, nor any law.

²² And Hezekiah spake heartily unto the Levites that had good understanding of the LORD. And they did eat that feast seven days long and offered peace offerings and thanked the LORD God of their fathers.

³ And he said to the Levites that taught throughout all Israel and were sanctified unto the LORD, "Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; ye need not to bear it upon your shoulders. Wherefore now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel.

⁷ And Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to give heed unto the law, and the people stood in their place. ⁸ And they read in the book of the law of God distinctly and plainly, so that men understood the thing that was read.

¹³ And on the next day were gathered together the chief fathers among all the people and the priests and Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, that he should teach them the words of the law. ¹⁴ And they found written in the law, how that the LORD had commanded by Moses that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month.

³ and they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God four times on the day; and they acknowledged, and worshipped the LORD their God four times on the day.

¹¹ Come, ye children, and hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

¹³ Then shall I teach thy ways unto the wicked, that sinners may be converted unto thee.

²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healed all manner of sickness and all manner diseases among the people.

² And he taught them many things in similitudes, and said unto them in his doctrine,
