⁷ Then the LORD God shope man, even of the mold of the earth, and breathed into his face the breath of life. So man was made a living soul.

¹⁹ In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, until thou return unto the earth whence thou wast taken: for earth thou art, and unto earth shalt thou return."

²³ and the LORD God cast him out of the garden of Eden, to till the earth whence he was taken.

¹⁶ "Let the LORD, God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation;

¹⁹ How much more then shall they that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is but earth: which shall be consumed by the moth?

³ My lips shall talk of no vanity, and my tongue shall speak no deceit,

⁴ The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the almighty hath given me my life.

⁶ Behold, before God am I, even as thou, for I am fashioned and made even of the same mould.

³ Be ye sure, that the LORD he is God; it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves. We are but his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

¹⁴ For he knoweth whereof we be made, he remembereth that we are but dust;

¹⁴ I will give thanks unto thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works, and that my soul knoweth right well! ¹⁵ My bones are not hid from thee, though I be made secretly, and fashioned beneath in the earth.

²⁷ The lantern of the LORD is the breath of man; and goeth through all the inward parts of the body.

⁷ A time to cut in pieces, and a time to sew together; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

²⁰ They go all unto one place, for as they be all of dust, so shall they all turn unto dust again. ²¹ Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the breath of the beast that goeth down into the earth?

⁷ Or dust be turned again unto earth from whence it came, and or the spirit return unto God, which gave it.

²² Fear not, then, any man whose breath is in his nostrils - for what is he?

⁸ But now O LORD, thou father of ours: we are the clay, and thou art our potter, and we all are the work of thy hands.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellent power of it might appear to be of God, and not of us.

¹ We know surely if our earthy mansion wherein we now dwell were destroyed, that we have a building ordained of God, a habitation not made with hands, but eternal in heaven:

⁹ Moreover, seeing we had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: should we not much rather be in subjection unto the father of spiritual gifts that we might live?
