⁸ Therefore, LORD, we have a respect unto the way of thy judgments; thy name and thy remembrance rejoice the soul.

¹⁵ And God spake further unto Moses, "Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, 'the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob hath sent me unto you': this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial throughout all generations.

² My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.

³ Blessed are they that always keep judgment, and do righteousness.

⁵ Yet do I remember the times past; I muse upon all thy works. Yea, I exercise myself in the works of thy hands. ⁶ I stretch forth my hands unto thee; my soul gaspeth unto thee as a thirsty land. Selah.

² For thy love is more pleasant than wine, ³ and that because of the good and pleasant savour. Thy name is sweet smelling ointment when it is shed forth; therefore do the maidens love thee. ⁴ Draw thou me unto thee; we will run after thee. The king hath brought me into his privy chamber: We will be glad and rejoice in thee, we think more of thy love than of wine. They that be righteous love thee.

³ As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. In his shadow was my desire to sit, for his fruit was sweet to my mouth. ⁴ He brought me into his wine cellar: and his behavior to me ward was lovely. ⁵ Set about me cups of wine, comfort me with apples; for I am sick of love.

⁸ I charge you therefore, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him how that I am sick for love.

⁴ And ye shall say in that day, 'Give thanks unto the LORD: call on his name: make his deeds known among the heathen: remember that his name is high.'

⁹ In that day shall it be said, "Lo, this is our God: we have waited for him, and he shall save us. This is the LORD in whom we have hoped: Let us rejoice, and delight in his salvation.

¹⁸ Yet standeth the LORD waiting, that he may have mercy upon you, and lifteth himself up, that he may receive you to grace. For the LORD God is righteous. Happy are all they that wait for him.

² LORD be merciful unto us, we wait for thee. Thine arm is at a point to visit us, but be thou our health in the time of trouble.

¹ Thus sayeth the LORD: Keep equity, and do right, for my saving health shall come shortly, and my righteousness shall be opened.

⁴ For since the beginning of the world there was none except thou, O God, that heard or perceived; neither hath any eye seen what thou doest, for them that put their trust in thee. ⁵ Thou helpest him that doth right with cheerfulness, and them that think upon thy ways. But lo, thou art angry: for we offend, and have been ever in sin, and there is not one whole.

⁷ Nevertheless, I will look up unto the LORD; I will patiently abide God my saviour: my God shall hear me.

⁴ Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I committed unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and ordinances.

⁶ Both were perfect before God, and walked in all the laws and ordinances of the Lord, that no man could find fault with them.

⁴ and gathered them together, and commanded them, that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but to "Wait for the promise of the father, whereof ye have heard of me.

²⁵ But and if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience abide for it.

⁵ And the Lord guide your hearts unto the love of God, and patience of Christ.

⁷ Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience there upon, until he receive the early and the latter rain. ⁸ Be ye also patient therefore, and settle your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. ⁹ Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be damned. Behold, the judge standeth before the door. ¹⁰ Take, my brethren, the prophets: for an example of suffering adversity, and of long patience, which spake in the name of the Lord. ¹¹ Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have known what end the Lord made. For the Lord is very pitiful, and merciful.
