¹⁶ and I will pray the father: and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you ever,

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you. And lo, I am with you always even until the end of the world."

¹⁴ But whosoever shall drink of the water that I shall give him, shall never be more a thirst: But the water that I shall give him, shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

He shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. ¹⁴ He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show unto you. ¹⁵ All things that the father hath are mine. Therefore said I unto you that he shall take of mine and show unto you.

²² And ye now are in sorrow: but I will see you again, and your hearts shall rejoice, and your joy shall no man take from you.

²⁶ At that day shall ye ask in mine name. And I say not unto you that I will speak unto my father for you. ²⁷ For the father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

⁹ I pray for them, and I pray not for the world: but for them which thou hast given me, for they are thine, ¹⁰ and all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am glorified in them. ¹¹ And now am I no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy father, keep in thine own name them which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we are.

¹⁵ I desire not that thou shouldest take them out of the world: but that thou keep them from evil.

²⁰ I pray not for them alone: but for them also which shall believe on me through their preaching,

³¹ Then had the congregations rest, throughout all Jewry and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified, and walked in the fear of the Lord; And multiplied by the comfort of the holy ghost.

⁵² And the disciples were filled with joy and with the holy ghost.

⁵ and hope maketh not ashamed: for the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, by the holy ghost, which is given unto us.

¹⁵ For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear anymore, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, "Abba father." ¹⁶ The same spirit certifieth our spirit that we are the sons of God.

²⁶ Likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmities. For we know not, what to desire as we ought: but the spirit maketh intercession mightily for us with groanings which cannot be expressed with tongue. ²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the meaning of the spirit: for he maketh intercession for the saints according to the pleasure of God.

³⁴ who then shall condemn? It is Christ which is dead; Yea rather which is risen again, which is also on the righthand of God and maketh intercession for us.

¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and joy, in the holy ghost.

¹³ The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may be rich in hope through the power of the holy ghost.

²² But the fruit of the spirit is: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance.

¹³ In whom also ye — after that ye heard the word of truth, I mean the gospel of your salvation wherein ye believed — were sealed with the holy spirit of promise, ¹⁴ which is the earnest of our inheritance, to redeem the possession purchased, and that unto the laud of his glory.

¹ If there be among you any consolation in Christ, if there be any comfortable love, if there be any fellowship of the spirit, if there be any compassion of mercy:

³ For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ, which is our life, shall show himself; then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

¹⁶ Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope through grace,

²⁵ Wherefore he is able also ever to save them that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth, to make intercession for us.

¹ My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye should sin not: if, though, any man sin, yet we have an Advocate with the father, even Jesus Christ, which is righteous.
