²⁵ And when ye stand and pray: forgive, if ye have anything against any man;

¹ And he showed me Joshua the high priest, standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan stood at his righthand to resist him.

²³ Therefore when thou offerest thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

⁵ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, because they would be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

¹² And forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgive our trespassers.

¹⁴ For and if ye shall forgive other men their trespasses, your heavenly father shall also forgive you. ¹⁵ But and if ye will not forgive men their trespasses, no more shall your father forgive your trespasses.

And laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me that thou owest.' ²⁹ And his fellow fell down, and besought him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.' ³⁰ And he would not, but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. ³¹ When his other fellows saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their Lord all that had happened. ³² Then his Lord called him, and said unto him, 'O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou praydest me: ³³ Was it not mete also, that thou shouldest have had compassion on thy fellow, even as I had pity on thee?' ³⁴ And his Lord was wroth, and delivered him to the jailers, till he should pay all that was due to him. ³⁵ So like wise shall my heavenly father do unto you, except ye forgive with your hearts, each one to his brother their trespasses."

³⁷ "Judge not and ye shall not be judged. Condemn not: and ye shall not be condemned. Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

¹¹ The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank thee that I am not as other men are; extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or as this publican.

³² Be ye courteous one to another, and merciful, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake forgave you.

¹³ forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel to another; even as Christ forgave you, even so do ye.

¹³ For there shall be judgment, merciless, to him that showeth no mercy, and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
