Mark 14 Cross References - MSTC

1 After two days followed Easter, and the days of sweet bread. And the high priests and the scribes sought means, how they might take him by craft and put him to death. 2 But they said, "Not in the feast day, lest any business arise among the people." 3 When he was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, even as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, called nard, that was pure and costly, and she brake the box and poured it on his head. 4 And there were some that were not content in themselves, and said, "What needed this waste of ointment? 5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and been given unto the poor." And they grudged against her. 6 And Jesus said, "Let her be in rest. Why trouble ye her? She hath done a good work on me. 7 For ye shall have poor with you always: and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye shall not have always. 8 She hath done that she could: she came aforehand to anoint my body to his buryingward. 9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be rehearsed in remembrance of her." 10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went away unto the high priests, to betray him unto them. 11 When they heard that, they were glad, and promised that they would give him money. And he sought, how he might conveniently betray him. 12 And the first day of sweet bread, when men offer the paschal lamb, his disciples said unto him, "Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the Easter lamb?" 13 And he sent forth two of his disciples, and said unto them, "Go ye into the city, and there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water. Follow him. 14 And whithersoever he goeth in, say ye to the good man of the house, 'The master asketh where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the Easter lamb with my disciples?' 15 And he will show you a great parlour, paved and prepared: there make ready for us." 16 And his disciples went forth, and came in to the city, and found as he had said unto them, and made ready the Easter lamb. 17 And at even, he came with the twelve. 18 And as they sat at board and ate, Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, That one of you shall betray me, which eateth with me." 19 And they began to mourn, and to say to him one by one, "Is it I?" And another said, "Is it I?" 20 He answered, and said unto them, "It is one of the twelve and the same dippeth with me in the platter. 21 The son of man goeth, as it is written of him: but woe be to that man, by whom the son of man is betrayed. Good were it for him, if that man had never been born." 22 And as they ate, Jesus took bread, blessed and brake it and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; This is my body." 23 And he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they drank all of it. 24 And he said unto them, "This is my blood, of the New Testament, which is shed for many. 25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of this fruit of the vine, until that day that I shall drink it new in the kingdom of God." 26 And when they had said grace, they went out into the Mount Olivet. 27 And Jesus said unto them, "All ye shall be offended through me this night. For it is written, 'I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.' 28 But after that I am risen again I will go into Galilee before you." 29 Peter said unto him, "And though all men should be offended, yet would not I." 30 And Jesus said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee this day even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice." 31 And he spake bolder, "No, if I should die with thee, I will not deny thee." Likewise also said they all. 32 And they came into a place named Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, "Sit ye here while I go apart and pray." 33 And he took with him Peter, James, and John, and he began to wax abashed and to be in an agony. 34 And said unto them, "My soul is very heavy even unto the death, tarry here and watch." 35 And he went forth a little and fell down on the ground and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 36 And he said, "Abba father, all things are possible unto thee, take away this cup from me. Nevertheless, not that I will, but that thou wilt be done." 37 And he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, sleepest thou? Couldest not thou watch with me one hour? 38 Watch ye, and pray, lest ye enter into temptation: the spirit is ready, but the flesh is weak." 39 And again he went away and prayed, and spake the same words. 40 And he returned and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy: neither could they wist what they might answer to him. 41 And he came the third time, and said unto them, "Sleep henceforth, and take your ease. It is enough. The hour is come; Behold the son of man shall be delivered into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise up, let us go. Lo: he that betrayeth me is at hand." 43 And immediately, while he yet spake, came Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great number of people with swords and staves from the high priests and scribes and elders. 44 And he that betrayed him had given them a general token, saying, "Whosoever I do kiss, he it is, take him, and lead him away warily." 45 And as soon as he was come, he went straightway to him, and said unto him, "Master, master," and kissed him. 46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him. 47 And one of them that stood by drew out a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. 48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, "Ye be come out as unto a thief with swords and with staves for to take me? 49 I was daily with you in the temple, teaching, and ye took me not: but that the scriptures should be fulfilled." 50 And they all forsook him and ran away. 51 And there was a certain young man that followed him clothed in linen upon the bare, and the young men caught him, 52 and he left his linen and fled from them naked. 53 And they led Jesus away to the highest priest of all, and to him came all the high priests and the elders, and the scribes. 54 And Peter followed him a great way off, even into the palace of the high priest, and he was there and sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire. 55 And the high priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus, to put him to death; And they found none. 56 Yet many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. 57 And there arose certain and brought false witness against him, saying, 58 "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another, made without hands.'" 59 But their witness agreed not together. 60 And the highest priest stood up amongst them all, and asked Jesus saying, "Answerest thou nothing? How is it that these bear witness against thee?" 61 And he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the highest priest asked him, and said unto him, "Art thou the Christ, the son of the blessed?" 62 And Jesus said, "I am. And ye shall see the son of man sit on the righthand of power, and come in the clouds of heaven." 63 Then the highest priest rent his clothes and said, "What need we any further of witness? 64 Ye have heard the blasphemy, what think ye?" And they all gave sentence that he was worthy of death. 65 And some began to spit at him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with their fists, and to say unto him, "Aread unto us." And the servants buffeted him on the face. 66 And Peter was beneath in the palace, and there came one of the wenches of the highest priest; 67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked on him, and said, "Was not thou also with Jesus of Nazareth?" 68 And he denied it, saying, "I know him not, neither know I what thou sayest." And he went out into the porch, and the cock crew. 69 And a damsel saw him, and again began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. 70 And he denied it again. And anon after, they that stood by, said again to Peter, "Surely thou art one of them, for thou art of Galilee, and thy speech agreeth thereto." 71 And he began to curse and to swear, saying, "I know not this man of whom ye speak." 72 And again the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said unto him. "Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice," and began to weep.

Exodus 12:6-20

6 And ye shall keep him inward, until the fourteenth day of the same month. And every man of the multitude of Israel shall kill him about even. 7 And they shall take of the blood and strike on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of the houses, wherein they eat him. 8 And they shall eat the flesh the same night, roast with fire, and with unleavened bread, and with sour herbs they shall eat it. 9 See that ye eat not thereof sodden in water, but roast with fire: both head, feet, and purtenance together. 10 And see that ye let nothing of it remain unto the morning: if ought remain, burn it with fire. 11 Of this manner shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, and shoes on your feet, and your staves in your hands. And ye shall eat it in haste; for it is the LORD's Passover. 12 "For I will go about in the land of Egypt this same night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both of man and beast, and upon all the gods of Egypt will I the LORD do execution. 13 And the blood shall be unto you a token, upon the houses wherein ye are; for when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be unto you a remembrance, and ye shall keep it holy unto the LORD: even throughout your generations after you shall ye keep it holy day, that it be a custom forever. 15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread, so that even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be plucked out from Israel. 16 "The first day shall be a holy feast unto you, and the seventh also. There shall be no manner of work done in them, save about that only which every man must eat: that only may ye do. 17 And see that ye keep you to unleavened bread. For upon that same day I will bring your armies out of the land of Egypt, therefore ye shall observe this day and all your children after you, that it be a custom forever. 18 The first month and the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat sweet bread unto the twenty-first day of the month at even again. 19 Seven days see that there be no leavened bread found in your houses. For whosoever eateth leavened bread, that soul shall be rooted out from the multitude of Israel: whether he be a stranger or born in the land. 20 Therefore see that ye eat no leavened bread, but in all your habitations eat sweet bread."

And it shall be done beside the daily burnt offering and his drink offering. 25 And the seventh day shall be a holy feast unto you, so that ye shall do no laborious work therein.

Deuteronomy 16:1-8

1 Observe the month of Abib, and offer Passover unto the LORD thy God. For in the month of Abib, the LORD thy God brought thee out of Egypt by night: 2 Thou shalt therefore offer Passover unto the LORD thy God, and sheep and oxen in the place which the LORD shall choose to make his name dwell there. 3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread therewith: but shalt eat therewith the bread of tribulation seven days long. For thou camest out of the land of Egypt in haste, that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest out of the land of Egypt, all days of thy life. 4 And see that there be no leavened bread seen in all thy coasts seven days long, and that there remain nothing of the flesh which thou hast offered the first day at evening, until the morning. 5 Thou mayest not offer Passover in any of thy cities which the LORD thy God giveth thee: 6 But in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to make his name dwell in, there thou shalt offer Passover at evening about the going down of the sun, even in the season that thou camest out of Egypt. 7 And thou shalt seethe and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen, and depart on the morrow and get thee unto thy tent. 8 Six days thou shalt eat sweet bread, and the seventh day is for the people to come together to the LORD thy God, that thou mayest do no work.

1 Chronicles 29:1-17

1 And David the king said unto all the congregation, "God hath specially chosen Solomon my son which is yet young and tender, and the work is great, for the house is not for man, but for the LORD God. 2 Moreover, I have prepared with all my might for the house of God: gold for things of gold, and silver for things of silver, brass for things of brass, iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood: and onyx stones, set stones, and of other gay stones, and all manner of precious stones, and of marble great abundance. 3 And yet because I have lust to the house of my God, I have several gold and silver which I give to the house of my God above all I have prepared for the holy house: 4 even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of silver tried: 5 to sile the walls of the house with gold where it becometh, and with silver where silver is meet, and for all manner of work by the hands of Artificers. And let me see who is willing also, to fill his hand for the LORD this day." 6 And the ancient lords and the lords of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and hundreds and the lords over the substance of the king, were willing 7 and gave for the service of the house of God, five thousand talents of gold and ten thousand pieces of gold coins, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron. 8 And they that had precious stones gave them for the treasure of the house of the LORD, unto the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite. 9 And the people rejoiced that they were so willing: for with a pure heart they were willing unto the LORD. And thereto David the king rejoiced with great gladness. 10 And David blessed the LORD before all the congregation and said, "Blessed art thou LORD God of Israel our father, from ever and for ever. 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, power and glory, victory and praise: for all that is in heaven and in earth is thine, and thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art lifted up a head above all. 12 And riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all. 13 And now our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. For what am I? And what is my people, that would obtain strength to be so willing? 14 But all is of thee, and of that we received of thine hand we have given thee. 15 For we be but strangers before thee and tenants, as were all our fathers. Our days on the earth is but a shadow, and there is none abiding. 16 O LORD our God, all this heap that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name, cometh of thine hand, and is all thine. 17 I know my God, that thou provest the heart and hast pleasure in plainness. And in plainness of mine heart I have willingly given all this. And now I see thy people, which are here in gladness to offer willingly to thee.

For great is the wrath of the LORD that is fallen upon us, because our fathers kept not the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book." 22 And Hilkiah, with them that pertained to the king, went to Huldah, a prophetess, wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe - which prophetess dwelt in Jerusalem in the second ward - and they communed so with her. 23 And she said unto them, "Thus sayeth the LORD God of Israel: 'Tell ye the man that sent you to me, 24 even thus sayeth the LORD: See, I will bring evil upon this place and upon the inhabiters thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah, 25 because they have forsaken me and have offered unto other gods to anger me with all manner works of their hands, therefore is my wrath set on fire against this place and shall not be quenched. 26 And as for the king of Judah, which sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him: Thus sayeth the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast heard: 27 Because thine heart did melt and thou didst meek thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place and against the inhabiters thereof, and humblest thyself before me, and tarest thy clothes and weepest before me, that have I heard also, sayeth the LORD. 28 Behold, I will take thee to thy fathers and thou shalt be put in thy grave in peace, and thine eyes shall not see all the mischief that I will bring upon this place and upon the inhabiters of the same.'" And they brought the king word again. 29 Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. 30 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and the inhabiters of Jerusalem and the Priests and Levites and all the people great and small: and read all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD. 31 And the king stood at his standing and made a covenant before the LORD, to follow the LORD and to keep his commandments, his witnesses and his statutes with all his heart and with all his soul and to fulfill the words of the covenant written in the said book. 32 And he made to come forth all that were found in Jerusalem and Benjamin, and the inhabiters of Jerusalem promised to keep the covenant of the God which was the God of their fathers. 33 And Josiah put away all manner of abominations out of all lands that pertained to the children of Israel, and brought all that were found in Israel, to serve the LORD their God. Psalms 22:1-31

1 {To the Chanter, upon Aijeleth of the dawning, a Psalm of David} My God, my God: why hast thou forsaken me, and art so far from my health and from the words of my complaint? 2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not: and in the night season also I take no rest. 3 And thou continuest holy, O thou worship of Israel. 4 Our fathers hoped in thee; they trusted in thee, and thou didst deliver them. 5 They called upon thee, and were helped: they put their trust in thee, and were not confounded. 6 But as for me, I am a worm and no man: a very scorn of men and the outcast of the people. 7 All they that see me, laugh me to scorn: they shoot out their lips, and shake their heads. 8 "He trusted in the LORD, that he would deliver him; let him deliver him, if he will have him." 9 But thou art he that took me out of my mother's womb; thou wast my hope, when I hanged yet upon my mother's breasts. 10 I have been left unto thee ever since I was born; thou art my God, even from my mother's womb. 11 O go not far from me then, for trouble is hard at hand, and here is none to help me. 12 Many oxen are come about me; fat bulls of Bashan close me in on every side. 13 They gape upon me with their mouths, as it were a rampaging and a roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart also in the midst of my body is even like melting wax. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaveth to my gums, and thou shalt bring me into the dust of death. 16 For many dogs are come about me, the counsel of the wicked layeth siege against me. 17 They pierced my hands and my feet; I may tell all my bones. They stand staring and looking upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. 19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD; thou art my succor. Haste thee to help me. 20 Deliver my soul from the sword, my darling from the power of the dog. 21 Save me from the lion's mouth, and hear me from among the horns of the unicorns. 22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. 23 O praise the LORD, ye that fear him! Magnify him, all ye seed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye seed of Israel. 24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the low estate of the poor: he hath not hid his face from him, but when he called unto him, he heard him. 25 My praise is of thee in the great congregation; my vows will I perform in the sight of them that fear him. 26 The poor shall eat, and be satisfied: they that seek after the LORD shall praise him. Your heart shall live for ever. 27 All the ends of the world shall remember themselves, and be turned unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the people shall worship before him. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD's, and he is the governour among the people. 29 All such as be fat upon earth have eaten and worshipped. All they that go down into the dust shall kneel before him; and no man hath quickened his own soul. 30 My seed shall serve him; they shall be counted unto the LORD for a generation. 31 They shall come, and declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, whom the LORD hath made.

Psalms 55:15

15 Let death come hastily upon them, and let them go down quick into hell; for wickedness is among them in their dwellings.

Psalms 69:1-36

1 {To the Chanter, upon Shoshannim, of David} Save me, O God; for the waters are come in, even unto my soul. 2 I stick fast in the deep mire, where no ground is; I am come into deep waters, so that the floods run over me. 3 I am weary of crying; my throat is dry. My sight faileth me, for waiting so long upon my God. 4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they that are mine enemies, and would destroy me guiltless, are mighty. I paid them the things that I never took. 5 God, thou knowest my simpleness, and my faults are not hid from thee. 6 Let not them that trust in thee, O LORD God of hosts, be ashamed for my cause; let not those that seek thee, be confounded through me, O LORD God of Israel. 7 And why? For thy sake have I suffered reproof; shame hath covered my face. 8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, even an alien unto my mother's children. 9 For the zeal of thine house hath even eaten me; and the rebukes of them that rebuked thee is fallen upon me. 10 I wept, and chastened myself with fasting, and that was turned to my reproof. 11 I put on a sackcloth, and therefore they jested upon me. 12 They that sit in the gate speak against me, and the drunkards make songs upon me. 13 But, LORD, I make my prayer unto thee in an acceptable time. Hear me, O God, in the multitude of thy mercy, even in the truth of thy salvation. 14 Take me out of the mire, that I sink not; Oh let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. 15 Let not the water-flood drown me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. 16 Hear me, O LORD, for thy loving-kindness is comfortable: turn thee unto me according to the multitude of thy mercies. 17 Hide not thy face from thy servant, for I am in trouble; O haste thee, and hear me. 18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and save it; O deliver me, because of mine enemies. 19 Thou knowest my reproof, and my shame and my dishonor: mine adversaries are all in thy sight. 20 Thy rebuke breaketh my heart, and maketh me heavy. I look for some to have pity upon me, but there is no man; and for some to comfort me, but I find none. 21 They gave me gall to eat, and when I was thirsty they gave me vinegar to drink. 22 Let their table be made a snare to take themselves withal; and let the things that should have been for their wealth be unto them an occasion of falling. 23 Let their eyes be blinded, that they see not; and ever bow down their backs. 24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful displeasure take hold of them. 25 Let their habitation be void, and no man to dwell in their tents. 26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk how they may vex them whom thou hast wounded. 27 Let them fall from one wickedness to another, and not come into thy righteousness. 28 Let them be wiped out of the book of the living, and not be written among the righteous. 29 As for me, I am poor and in heaviness; let thy help defend me, O God. 30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and magnify it with thanksgiving. 31 This shall please the LORD better than a bullock, that hath horns and hoofs. 32 O consider this and be glad, ye that be in adversity: seek after God and your soul shall live. 33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. 34 Let heaven and earth praise him, the sea, and all that moveth therein. 35 For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah, that men may dwell there, and have it in possession. 36 The seed of his servants shall inherit it, and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

Psalms 109:6-20

6 Set an ungodly man to be ruler over him, and let Satan stand at his righthand. 7 When sentence is given upon him, let him be condemned; and let his prayer be turned into sin. 8 Let his days be few, and his bishoprick let another take. 9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his children be vagabonds, and beg their bread; let them seek it also out of desolate places. 11 Let the extortioner consume all that he hath; and let stranger spoil his labour. 12 Let there be no man to pity him, nor to have compassion on his fatherless children. 13 Let his posterity be destroyed; and in the next generation let his name be clean put out. 14 Let the wickedness of his fathers be had in remembrance in the sight of LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be done away. 15 Let them be always before the LORD, that he may root out the memorial of them from off the earth; 16 and that, because his mind was not to do good, but persecuted the poor helpless, and him that was vexed at the heart, to slay him. 17 His delight was in cursing, and therefore shall it happen unto him; he loved not blessing, therefore shall it be far from him. 18 He clothed himself with cursing like as with a raiment: yea it went into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be unto him as the cloak that he hath on him, and as the girdle that he is girded withal. 20 Let it thus happen from the LORD unto mine enemies, and to those that speak evil against my soul.

Isaiah 52:14

14 Like as the multitude shall wonder upon him, because his face shall be so deformed and not as a man's face, and his beauty like no man:

Isaiah 53:1-12

1 Who believeth our sayings? And the arm of the LORD, to whom is it opened? 2 He came up as a spray before him, and as a root out of a dry land. There was neither fashion or beauty on him. And when we looked on him, there was no godliness that we should lust after him. 3 He was despised and cast out of men's company; and one that had suffered sorrow, and had experience of infirmity. And we were as one that had hid his face from him. 4 He was so despisable, that we esteemed him not. Truly, he took upon him our diseases, and bare our sorrows. And yet we counted him plagued, and beaten, and humbled of God. 5 He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. The correction that brought us peace was on him, and with his stripes we were healed. 6 And we went astray as sheep, and turned every man his way: and the LORD put on him the wickedness of us all. 7 He suffered wrong and was evil entreated, and yet opened not his mouth: he was as a sheep led to be slain: and as a lamb before his shearer, he was dumb and opened not his mouth. 8 By the reason of the affliction, he was not esteemed: and yet his generation who can number? When he is taken from the earth of living men: for my people's transgression he was plagued. 9 He put his sepulchre with the wicked, and with the rich in his death: because he did none iniquity, neither was guile found in his mouth. 10 And yet the LORD determined to bruise him with infirmities. His soul giving herself for trangression, he shall see seed of long continuance; and the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 Because of the labour of his soul, he shall see and be satisfied. With his knowledge, he, being just, shall justify my servants: and that a great number. And he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him his part in many, and the spoil of the rich he shall divide: because he gave his soul to death, and was numbered with the trespassers, and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

Daniel 9:24

And when he was hanged, burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it is known unto all the inhabiters of Jerusalem. Hebrews 9:15-23

15 And for this cause is he the mediator of the new testament, that through death which chanced for the redemption of those transgressions that were in the first testament, they which were called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For wheresoever is a testament, there must also be the death of him that maketh the testament. 17 For the testament taketh authority when men are dead: For it is of no value as long as he that made it is alive. 18 For which cause also, neither that first testament was ordained without blood. 19 For when all the commandments were read of Moses unto all the people, he took the blood of calves, and of goats, with water and purple wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 saying, "This is the blood of the testament, which God hath appointed unto you." 21 Moreover, he sprinkled the tabernacle with blood also, and all the ministering vessels. 22 And almost all things are, by the law, purged with blood, and without shedding of blood, is no remission. 23 It is then need that the similitudes of heavenly things, be purified with such things: but the heavenly things themselves are purified with better sacrifices than are those.

And he said unto me, "These are they which came out of great tribulation and made their garments large, and made them white in the blood of the lamb: 15 therefore are they in the presence of the seat of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sitteth in the seat will dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more neither thirst, neither shall the sun light on them, neither any heat. 17 For the lamb which is in the midst of the seat, shall feed them, and shall lead them unto fountains of living water, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
