⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and realm against realm: and there shall be pestilence, and hunger, and earthquakes in all quarters.

⁶ For one nation shall destroy another, and one city another: for God will trounce them with all adversity.

¹⁹ For this cause shall the wrath of the LORD of Hosts fall upon the land, and the people shall be consumed, as it were with fire: no man shall spare his brother, ²⁰ but robbeth him on the righthand, and doth famish; he eateth on the left hand and he shall not have enough. Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. ²¹ Manasseh shall eat Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh, and they both shall eat Judah. After all this shall not the LORD's wrath cease, but yet shall his hand be stretched out still.

² And I will stir up the Egyptians one against another among themselves, so that one shall be ever against his brother and neighbour, yea one city against another, and one kingdom against another.

¹⁹ The earth shall give a great crack, it shall have a sore ruin, and take a horrible fall. ²⁰ The earth shall stagger like a drunkard, to and fro; and be taken away like a tent. Her misdeeds shall lie so heavy upon her, that she must fall, and never rise up again. ²¹ At in that day shall the LORD muster together the high host above, and the kings of the world upon the earth. ²² These shall be coupled together as prisoners be, and shall be shut up in one ward and punished innumerable days. ²³ The Moon and the Sun shall be ashamed, when the LORD of Hosts shall reign in mount Zion and in Jerusalem with worship, and in the sight of such as shall be of his counsel.

²¹ Moreover, thus sayeth the LORD God: Though I send my four troublous plagues upon Jerusalem - the sword, hunger, perilous beasts, and pestilence, to destroy man and beast out of it -

²⁷ Punish, punish, yea, punish them will I, and destroy them. And that shall not be fulfilled till he come, to whom the judgment belongeth, and to whom I have given it.

³⁰ I will show wonders in heaven above, and tokens in the earth beneath: blood and fire, and the vapor of smoke. ³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the LORD come.

²¹ "Speak to Zerubbabel the prince of Judah, and say, 'I will shake both heaven and earth, ²² and overthrow the seat of the kingdoms, yea and destroy the mighty kingdom of the Heathen. I will overthrow the chariots, and those that sit upon then, so that both horse and man shall fall down, every man through his neighbour's sword.

² For I will gather together all the Heathen, to fight against Jerusalem: so that the city shall be won, the houses spoiled, and the women defiled. The half of the city shall go away into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be carried out of the city. ³ fter that shall the LORD go forth, to fight against those Heathen, as men used to fight in the day of battle. ⁴ Then shall his feet stand upon the mount Olivet, that lieth upon the east side of Jerusalem. And the mount Olivet shall cleave in two, eastward and westward, so that there shall be a great valley: and the half mount shall remove toward the north, and the other half toward the south.

¹³ In that day shall the LORD make a great sedition among them, so that one man shall take another by the hand, and lay his hands upon the hands of his neighbour.

¹¹ and great earthquakes shall be in all quarters, and hunger, and pestilence, and fearful things. And great signs shall there be from heaven.

²⁵ And there shall be signs, in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars: and in the earth the people shall be in such perplexity, that they shall not tell which way to turn themselves. The sea and the waters shall roar, ²⁶ and men's hearts shall fail them for fear, and for looking after those things which shall come on the earth. For the powers of heaven shall move.

²⁸ And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit, that there should be great dearth throughout all the world, which came to pass in the Emperor Claudius' days.

²⁷ No doubt the same that he sayeth, "yet once more," signifieth the removing away of those things which are shaken, as of things which have ended their course: that the things which are not shaken may remain.

⁸ And I looked. And behold, a green horse; and his name that sat on him was Death, and hell followed after him, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, that cometh of vermin of the earth.

¹² And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, and lo there was a great earthquake, and the sun was as black as sackcloth made of hair. And the moon waxed even as blood:
