They said unto him, "We also will go with thee." They went their way and entered into a ship straightway, and that night caught they nothing. 4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore. Nevertheless, the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said unto them, "Sirs, have ye any meat?" They answered him no. 6 And he said unto them, "Cast out the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find." They cast out, and anon they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7 Then said the disciple whom Jesus loved unto Peter, "It is the Lord." When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girded his mantle to him, for he was naked, and sprang into the sea. 8 The other disciples came by ship: For they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits; And they drew the net with fishes. 9 As soon as they were come to land, they saw hot coals laid and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10 Jesus said unto them, "Bring of the fishes which ye have now caught." 11 Simon Peter stepped forth and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty three. And for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12 Jesus said unto them, "Come and dine." And none of the disciples durst ask him, "What art thou?" For they knew that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then came and took bread, and gave them, and fish likewise. 14 And this is now the third time that Jesus appeared to his disciples, after that he was risen again from death.

And when he was hanged, burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it is known unto all the inhabiters of Jerusalem. Insomuch that that field is called in their mother tongue, Akeldama, that is to say the blood field. 20 It is written in the book of psalms, 'His habitation be void, and no man be dwelling therein,' and, 'His bishoprick let another take.' 21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us — all the time that the Lord Jesus went out and in among us, 22 beginning at the baptism of John unto that same day that he was taken up from us — must one be ordained to bear witness with us of his resurrection." 23 And they appointed two: Joseph called Barsabbas, whose surname was Justus, and Matthias. 24 And they prayed, saying, "Thou Lord which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether thou hast chosen of these two, 25 that the one may take the room of this ministration, and apostleship from the which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place." 26 And they gave forth their lots, and the lot fell on Mathias. And he was counted with the eleven apostles.

Nor yet also is there any other name given to men wherein we must be saved." 13 When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and understood that they were unlearned men and lay people, they marveled: and they knew them, that they were with Jesus. 14 And beholding also the man which was healed standing with them, they could not say against it, 15 but they commanded them to go aside out of the council; And counseled among themselves, 16 saying, "What shall we do to these men? For a manifest sign is done by them, and is openly known to all them that dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it: 17 But that it be noised no farther among the people, let us threaten and charge them that they speak henceforth to no man in this name." 18 And they called them, and commanded them that in no wise they should speak or teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered unto them and said, "Whether it be right in the sight of God to obey you more than God, judge ye. 20 For we cannot but speak that which we have seen and heard." 21 So threatened they them and let them go; And found nothing how to punish them, because of the people: For all men lauded God for the miracle which was done. 22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was showed.

But Paul, not content, turned about and said to the spirit, "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ that thou come out of her." And he came out the same hour. 19 And when her master and mistress saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, 20 and brought them to the officers, saying, "These men trouble our city, which are Jews 21 and preach ordinances which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, seeing we are Romans." 22 And the people ran on them, and the officers rent their clothes, and commanded them to be beaten with rods, 23 and when they had beaten them sore, they cast them into prison commanding the jailer to keep them surely. 24 Which jailer, when he had received such commandment, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. 25 At midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and lauded God. 11 And the very same, made some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Shepherds, some Teachers: 12 that the saints might have all things necessary to work and minister withal, to the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we, everyone — in the unity of faith, and knowledge of the son of God — grow up unto a perfect man, after the measure of age which is of the fullness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, wavering and carried with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness of men and craftiness, whereby they lay a wait for us to deceive us. 15 But let us follow the truth in love, and in all things grow in him which is the head, that is to say Christ, 16 in whom all the body is coupled and knit together, in every joint, wherewith one ministereth to another — according to the operation as every part hath his measure — and increaseth the body, unto the edifying of itself in love. 17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other gentiles walk; in vanity of their mind,

Ephesians 4:20-32

20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be ye have heard of him, and are taught in him, even as the truth is in Jesus: 22 so then, as concerning the conversation in time past, lay from you that old man, which is corrupt through the deceivable lusts, 23 and be ye renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and put on that new man, which after the image of God is shapen in righteousness, and true holiness. 25 Wherefore, put away lying, and speak every man truth unto his neighbor, forasmuch as we are members one of another. 26 Be angry, but sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath, 27 neither give place unto the backbiter. 28 Let him that stole, steal no more; but let him rather labour with his hands some good thing, that he may have to give unto him that needeth. 29 Let no filthy communication proceed out of your mouths: but that which is good to edify withal, when need is, that it may have favour with the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, fierceness and wrath, roaring and cursed speaking, be put away from you, with all maliciousness. 32 Be ye courteous one to another, and merciful, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake forgave you.

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Wherefore God hath exalted him, and given him a name above all names: 10 That in the name of Jesus should every knee bow, both of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under earth; 11 and that all tongues should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord unto the praise of God the father.

Colossians 1:16-19

16 for by him were all things created, things that are in heaven, and things that are in earth: things visible, and things invisible: whether they be majesty or lordship, either rule or power. 17 All things are created by him, and in him, and he is before all things, and in him all things have their being. 18 And he is the head of the body, that is, to wit, of the congregation: he is the beginning and first begotten of the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the father that in him should all fullness dwell,

Colossians 1:23

23 if ye continue grounded and established in the faith, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, whereof ye have heard, how that it is preached among all creatures, which are under heaven, whereof I, Paul, am made a minister.

Colossians 1:28

28 whom we preach warning all men, and teaching all men in all wisdom, to make all men perfect in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2:10

10 and ye are complete in him, which is the head of all rule and power.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-2

1 Furthermore, we beseech you brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that ye increase more and more, even as ye have received of us, how ye ought to walk and to please God. 2 Ye remember what commandments we gave you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-12

6 We require you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh inordinately, and not after the institution which ye received of us. 7 Ye yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: For we behaved not ourselves inordinately among you. 8 Neither took we bread of any man for nought: but wrought with labour and travail night and day, because we would not be grievous to any of you: 9 not but that we had authority: but to make ourselves an example unto you, to follow us. 10 For when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any which would not work, that the same should not eat. 11 We have heard say, no doubt, that there are some which walk among you inordinately, and work not at all, but are busybodies. 12 Them that are such, we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness, and eat their own bread.

1 Timothy 3:16

16 And without nay, great is that mystery of godliness. God was showed in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, was seen of angels, was preached unto the gentiles, was believed on in earth and received up in glory.

1 Timothy 6:1-4

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God, and his doctrine be not evil spoken of. 2 See that they which have believing masters despise them not because they are brethren: but so much the rather do service, forasmuch as they are believing and beloved and partakers of the benefits. These things teach and exhort. 3 If any man teach otherwise, and is not content with the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine of godliness, 4 he is puffed up and knoweth nothing: but wasteth his brains about questions, and strife of words, whereof spring envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings

1 Timothy 6:10

10 For covetousness is the root of all evil, which while some lusted after, they erred from the faith, and tangled themselves with many sorrows.

2 Timothy 4:17

17 notwithstanding the Lord assisted me, and strengthed me, that by me the preaching should be fulfilled to the utmost and that all the gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Titus 2:1-10

1 But speak thou that which becometh wholesome learning: 2 That the elder men be sober, honest, discreet, sound in the faith, in love and in patience. 3 And the elder women likewise that they be in such raiment as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much drinking, but teachers of honest things, 4 to make the young women soberminded, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be of discreet, chaste, housewifely, good, and obedient unto their own husbands, that the word of God be not evil spoken of. 6 Young men likewise exhort that they be sober minded. 7 Above all things, show thyself an example of good works with uncorrupt doctrine, with honesty, 8 and with the wholesome word which cannot be rebuked, that he which withstandeth may be ashamed, having no thing in you that he may dispraise. 9 The servants exhort to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please in all things, not answering again, 10 neither be pickers, but that they show all good faithfulness, that they may do worship to the doctrine of God our saviour in all things.

Hebrews 1:2

2 but in these last days he hath spoken unto us by his son, whom he hath made heir of all things: by whom also he made the world.

Hebrews 1:14

14 Are they not all spirits to do service, sent for to minister for their sakes, which shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 2:8

8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet." In that he put all things under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.

Hebrews 2:11-18

11 Forasmuch as he that sanctifieth, and they which are sanctified, are all of one. For which cause's sake he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren, and in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee." 13 And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again, "Behold here am I and the children which God hath given me." 14 Forasmuch, then, as the children were partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part with them, for to put down through death him that had lordship over death: that is to say, the devil. 15 And that he might deliver them which, through fear of death, all their life time were in danger of bondage. 16 For he in no place taketh on him the angels: but the seed of Abraham taketh he on him. 17 Wherefore in all things it became him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be merciful, and a faithful high priest in things concerning God, for to purge the people's sins. 18 For in that he himself suffered, and was tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

1 Peter 1:12

12 Unto which prophets it was declared, that not unto themselves, but unto us, they should minister the things which are now showed unto you, of them which, by the holy ghost sent down from heaven, have preached unto you the things which the angels desire to behold.

1 Peter 2:10-19

10 which in time past were not a people, yet are now the people of God, which were not under mercy: but now have obtained mercy. 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers, and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which fight against the soul, 12 and see that ye have honest conversation among the gentiles, that they which backbite you as evil doers, may see your good works and praise God in the day of visitation. 13 Submit yourselves unto all manner ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether it be unto the King as unto the chief head; 14 other unto rulers, as unto them that are sent of him, for the punishment of evil doers: but for the laud of them that well do. 15 For so is the will of God, that ye put to silence the ignorance of the foolish men: 16 as free, and not as having the liberty for a cloak of maliciousness: but even as the servants of God. 17 See that ye honour all men. Love brotherly fellowship, fear God, and honour the King. 18 Servants obey your masters with all fear, not only if they be good and courteous: but also though they be froward. 19 For it is thankworthy if a man, for conscience toward God, endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

1 Peter 3:21

21 which signifieth baptism that now saveth us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but in that a good conscience consenteth to God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 which is our righthand of God, and is gone into heaven: angels, power, and might subdued unto him.

2 Peter 1:5-11

5 And hereunto, give all diligence: In your faith, minister virtue; and in virtue, knowledge; 6 and in knowledge, temperance; and in temperance, patience; in patience, godliness; 7 in godliness, brotherly kindness; in brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if these things be among you, and are plenteous, they will make you that ye neither shall be idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of the our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind and gropeth for the way with his hand, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence for to make your calling and election sure. For if ye do such things, ye shall never err. 11 Yea, and by this means an entering-in shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:2

2 to call to remembrance the words which were told before of the holy prophets, and also the commandment of us; the apostles of the Lord and Saviour.

1 John 2:3-4

3 And hereby we are sure that we know him: if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, "I know him," and yet keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the verity is not in him.

1 John 3:19-24

19 for thereby we know that we be of the truth, and so shall we certify our hearts in his sight. 20 But if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and knoweth all things. 21 Dearly beloved, if our hearts condemn us not, then have we trust to God ward; 22 and whatsoever we ask, that we shall receive of him: because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe on the name of his son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And thereby we know that there dwelleth in us of his spirit, which he gave us.

14 His head and his hairs were white, as white wool, and as snow: and his eyes were as a flame of fire: 15 and his feet like unto brass, as though they burnt in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars. And out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword. And his face shone even as the sun in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet, even as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not. I am the first and the last,

And the twenty four elders fell upon their faces, and worshipped him that liveth for evermore.
