⁵ Thou preparest a table before me against mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, and fillest my cup full.

¹⁶ Even so shall he keep thee - if thou wilt be content - from the bottomless pit that is beneath: and if thou wilt hold the quiet, he shall fill thy table with plenteousness.

⁵ The LORD himself is the portion of mine inheritance, and of my cup; thou shalt maintain my lot.

²⁶ The poor shall eat, and be satisfied: they that seek after the LORD shall praise him. Your heart shall live for ever.

¹⁰ But my horn shall be exalted like the horn of an unicorn; and shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁵ Thou bringest food out of the earth: wine to make glad the heart of man, oil to make him a cheerful countenance and bread to strengthen man's heart.

¹³ I will receive the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

⁹ I am the door: by me, if any man enter in, he shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief cometh not but for to steal and kill, and destroy. I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.

²² And ye now are in sorrow: but I will see you again, and your hearts shall rejoice, and your joy shall no man take from you.

¹⁶ Is not the cup of blessing which we bless, partaking of the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break, partaking of the body of Christ?

²¹ For it is God which establisheth us and you in Christ, and hath anointed us,

²⁰ Unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

²⁰ But ye have an ointment of the holy ghost, and ye know all things.

²⁷ And the anointing which ye have received of him dwelleth in you. And ye need not that any man teach you: but as the anointing teacheth you all things, and is true, and is no lie: and as it taught you, even so bide therein.
