⁸ Who is this King of glory? It is the LORD strong and mighty, even the LORD mighty in battle.

³ The LORD is a man of war, Jehovah is his name:

³ Gird thee with thy sword upon thy thigh, O thou Most Mighty, according to thy worship and renown. ⁴ Good luck have thou with thine honour; ride on with the truth, meekness and righteousness: and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. ⁵ Thy arrows are sharp, and the people shall be subdued unto thee, even in the midst among the king's enemies. ⁶ Thy seat, O God, endureth forever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter.

³ There breaketh he the arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the whole battle. Selah. ⁴ Thou art of more honour and might than the hills of the robbers. ⁵ The proud shall be robbed and sleep their sleep, and all the men whose hands were mighty have found nothing. ⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are fallen.

¹ The LORD is king, and hath put on glorious apparel; the LORD hath put on his apparel, and girded himself with strength: he hath made the round world so sure, that it cannot be moved.

⁶ For unto us a child is born, and unto us a son is given. Upon his shoulders shall the kingdom lie, and he shall be called with his own name, "Wonderful, the giver of counsel, the mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of peace."

²⁴ Then shall Israel with honour be the third to Egypt and Assyria. ²⁵ And the LORD of Hosts shall bless them, saying: Blessed is my people of the Egypt, Assyria also is the work of my hands, and Israel is mine inheritance.

¹⁵ and hath spoiled rule and power, and hath made a show of them openly, and hath triumphed over them in his own person.

² And I saw, and behold there was a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and for to overcome.

¹¹ And I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse: and he that sat upon him was faithful and true, and in righteousness did judge and make battle. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew but himself. ¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the word of God. ¹⁴ And the warriors which were in heaven, followed him upon white horses, clothed with white and pure raynes: ¹⁵ and out of his mouth went out a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the heathen. These both were cast into a pond of fire burning with brimstone: ²¹ and the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth, and all the fowls were fulfilled with their flesh.
