³ The LORD shall refresh him, when he lieth sick upon his bed, yea thou makest his bed in all his sickness.

⁶ And they said unto him, "There came a man against us and said unto us, 'Go and turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him: Thus sayeth the LORD. Is it because there is no God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire through Beelzebub the god of Ekron? Therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.'"

¹⁶ And he said unto the king, "Thus sayeth the LORD, 'Forasmuch as thou sentest messengers to ask through Beelzebub the god of Ekron — as though there had been no God in Israel to ask through his word — therefore thou shalt not come off the bed on which thou art ascended, but shalt surely die.'"
