²³ O praise the LORD, ye that fear him! Magnify him, all ye seed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye seed of Israel.

⁴ Even he that hath clean hands, and a pure heart, and that hath not lift up his mind unto vanity, nor sworn to deceive his neighbour. ⁵ He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from God his saviour.

¹⁴ The secret of the LORD is among them that fear him, and he showeth them his covenant.

⁶ And now shall he lift up mine head above mine enemies round about me. Therefore will I offer in his dwelling an oblation with great gladness; I will sing and speak praises unto the LORD.

¹⁴ Offer unto God thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the most highest. ¹⁵ And call upon me in the time of trouble; so will I hear thee, and thou shalt praise me."

⁹ For his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him, and prepare the way for his coming.

⁹ All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD, and shall glorify thy name.

¹² I thank thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart, and will praise thy name for ever.

¹⁶ With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

² Behold, God is my salvation: I will be bold therefore and not fear. For the LORD God is my strength and my praise whereof I sing: and is become my saviour.

¹⁷ But Israel shall be saved in the LORD, which is the everlasting salvation: They shall not come to shame nor confusion, world without end.

⁶ "Behold, I have made thee a light, that thou shouldest be salvation, even unto the end of the world. Kings shall see, and rulers shall stand up and shall worship, because of the LORD, which is faithful; and the holy of Israel hath chosen thee.

⁵ My righteousness is nigh, and my salvation shall go out, and mine arms shall judge nations, and islands shall look for me and shall tarry after mine arm. ⁶ Lift up your eyes to heaven and behold the earth beneath. For heaven shall vanish away as smoke, and the earth shall wear away as a vesture, and the inhabiters thereof shall perish away after the same manner: but my salvation shall endure ever, and my righteousness shall not perish.

³⁰ For mine eyes have seen the saviour sent from thee:

¹⁷ If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God: or whether I speak of myself.

³¹ Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, "If ye continue in my words, then are ye my very disciples: ³² and ye shall know the truth: And the truth shall make you free."

² a devout man, and one that feared God with all his household, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed God always. ³ The same man saw in a vision evidently, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming into him, and saying unto him, "Cornelius." ⁴ When he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, "What is it Lord?" He said unto him, "Thy prayers and thy alms are come up into remembrance before God.

¹⁴ he shall tell thee words, whereby both thou and all thine house shall be saved.'

²⁶ Ye men and brethren, children of the generation off Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is this word of salvation sent.

¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercifulness of God, that ye make your bodies a living sacrifice: holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable serving of God.

⁶ that ye, all agreeing together, may with one mouth praise God the father of our Lord Jesus.

⁹ And let the gentiles praise God for his mercy. As it is written, "For this cause I will praise thee among the gentiles, and sing in thy name."

²⁴ And they glorified God on my behalf.

¹⁶ And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon Israel that pertaineth to God.

²⁷ Only let your conversation be, as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may yet hear of you, that ye continue in one spirit, and in one soul laboring as we do to maintain the faith of the gospel,

¹³ If any man be wise and endued with learning among you, let him show the works of his good conversation in meekness that is coupled with wisdom.

¹⁵ But as he which called you is holy, even so be ye holy in all manner of conversation,

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people, that ye should show the virtues of him that called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,
