¹ The LORD is king, and hath put on glorious apparel; the LORD hath put on his apparel, and girded himself with strength: he hath made the round world so sure, that it cannot be moved. ² Ever since the world began hath thy seat been prepared; thou art from everlasting. ³ The floods are risen, O LORD. The floods have lift up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. ⁴ The waves of the sea are mighty, and rage horribly; but yet the LORD that dwelleth on high is mightier. ⁵ Thy testimonies, O LORD, are very sure; holiness becometh thine house forever.

¹² And riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all.

¹⁰ Then arm thyself with thine own power! Up, deck thee in thy jolly array,

³² It is God that girdeth me with strength of war, and maketh my way perfect. {TYNDALE: God is my strength in war, and riddeth the way clear before me.}

¹³ Consume them in thy wrath; consume them that they may perish, and know that it is God which ruleth in Jacob and in all the world. Selah.

⁶ who in his strength setteth fast the mountains, and is girded about with power;

³ The earth is weak, and all that is therein; but I bear up her pillars. Selah.

¹⁰ Tell it out among the Heathen, that the LORD is king: and that it is he who hath made the round world so fast, that it can not be moved, and how that he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad. {TYNDALE: He established the earth that it cannot move. The heaven rejoice and the earth be glad. And let men tell among the nations that the LORD is a king.}

¹ The LORD is king. The earth may be glad thereof; yea, the multitude of the isles may be glad thereof.

¹ The LORD is king, be the people never so inpatient; he sitteth upon the cherubims, be the earth never so unquiet.

¹⁹ The LORD hath prepared his seat in heaven, and his kingdom ruleth over all.

¹ Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art become exceedingly glorious; thou art clothed with majesty and honour. ² Thou deckest thyself with light, as it were with a garment, and spreadest out the heaven like a curtain -

¹³ Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom; and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.

⁵ And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

¹² I have made the earth, and created man upon it. With my hands have I spread forth heaven, and given a commandment for all the Host thereof.

¹⁸ For thus sayeth the LORD, even he that created heaven, the God that made the earth, that fashioned it, and set it forth: I have not made it for naught, but I made it to be inhabited. Even I the LORD, without whom there is none other.

⁸ And thus sayeth the LORD: In the time appointed will I be present with thee. And in the hour of health will I help thee, and deliver thee. I will make thee a pledge for the people, so that thou shalt help up the earth again, and challenge again the scattered heritages:

⁹ Wake up, wake up, and be strong: O thou arm of the LORD: wake up, like as in times past, ever, and since the world began.

¹⁶ I shall put my word also in thy mouth, and defend thee with the turning of my hand: that thou mayest plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, "Thou art my people."

⁷ O how beautiful are the feet of the Ambassador, that bringeth the message from the mountain, and proclaimeth peace: That bringeth the good tidings, and preacheth health, and sayeth unto Zion, "Thy God is the king."

¹⁷ He put righteousness upon him for a breastplate, and set the helmet of health upon his head. He put on wrath instead of clothing, and took jealousy about him for a cloak:

¹ What is he, this that cometh from Edom, with stained red clothes of Bozrah, which is so costly cloth, and cometh in so nimbly with all his strength? "I am he that teacheth righteousness, and am of power to help."

³² Thou shalt be cast out of men's company: thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, so that thou shalt eat grass like as an ox, till seven years be come and gone over thee: even until thou knowest, that the highest hath power upon the kingdoms of men, and that he may give them, unto whom it pleaseth him.'" ³³ The very same hour was this matter fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: so that he was cast out of men's company, and ate grass like an ox; His body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were as great as Eagle's feathers, and his nails like bird's claws. ³⁴ When this time was past, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lift up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding was restored unto me again. Then gave I thanks to the highest. I magnified and praised him that liveth for evermore, whose power endureth alway, and his kingdom from one generation to another:

¹³ Lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil, For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen.

² but in these last days he hath spoken unto us by his son, whom he hath made heir of all things: by whom also he made the world. ³ Which son, being the brightness of his glory, and very image of his substance, bearing up all things with the word of his power, hath in his own person purged our sins, and is sitten on the righthand of the majesty on high,

⁸ But unto the son he saith, "God, thy seat shall be forever, and ever. The sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel blew, and there were made great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are our Lord's and his Christ's, and he shall reign for evermore." ¹⁶ And the twenty four elders, which sit before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ saying, "We give thee thanks Lord God, almighty: which art and wast, and art to come, for thou hast received thy great might, and hast reigned.

⁶ And I heard the voice of much people, even as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of strong thunderings, saying, "Hallelujah, for God omnipotent reigneth.

⁶ Thy seat, O God, endureth forever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter.

² Before the mountains were brought forth, before the earth and the world were made, thou art God from everlasting and world without end.

²⁴ Yet will I say, "O my God, take me not away in the midst of my age; as for thy years, they endure throughout all generations." ²⁵ Thou, LORD, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; they all shall wax old as doth a garment, and as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. ²⁷ But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

²² "The LORD himself had me in possession in the beginning of his ways, before he began his works afore time. ²³ I have been ordained from everlasting, and from the beginning before the earth was made.

³⁴ When this time was past, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lift up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding was restored unto me again. Then gave I thanks to the highest. I magnified and praised him that liveth for evermore, whose power endureth alway, and his kingdom from one generation to another:

⁸ Jesus Christ yesterday, and today, and the same, continueth forever.

⁸ "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," saith the Lord almighty, which is and which was and which is to come.

¹¹ saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. That thou seest, write in a book and send it unto the congregations which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet, even as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not. I am the first and the last, ¹⁸ and am alive, and was dead. And behold I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of hell and of death.

⁸ "And unto the angel of the congregation of Smyrna write, 'These things saith he that is first, and the last, which was dead and is alive:

¹ W hy did the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things? ² The kings of the earth stood up and the rulers came together against the LORD, and against his Christ. ³ Let us break their bonds asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

⁴ The sorrows of death compassed me, and the overflowings of ungodliness made me afraid. {TYNDALE: For the waves of death have closed me about, and the floods of Belial have feared me.}

¹ {To the Chanter, upon Shoshannim, of David} Save me, O God; for the waters are come in, even unto my soul. ² I stick fast in the deep mire, where no ground is; I am come into deep waters, so that the floods run over me.

¹⁴ Take me out of the mire, that I sink not; Oh let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. ¹⁵ Let not the water-flood drown me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. ¹⁶ Hear me, O LORD, for thy loving-kindness is comfortable: turn thee unto me according to the multitude of thy mercies.

⁷ Let the sea make a noise and all that therein is; yea, the whole world, and all that dwell therein. ⁸ Let the floods clap their hands, and let all the hills be joyful together

²⁵ For at his word, the stormy wind ariseth, and lifteth up the waves thereof. ²⁶ They are carried up to the heaven, and down again to the deep; their soul melteth away in the trouble.

³ they had swallowed us up alive, when they were so wrathfully displeased at us. ⁴ Yea, the waters had drowned us, the stream had gone over our soul. ⁵ The deep waters of the proud had gone even unto our soul.

¹² Woe be to the multitude of much people, which shall make a sound like the noise of the sea; and the violence of the nations which shall rage like the rushing in of many waters. ¹³ Even like many waters shall the people rage: God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and vanish away like the dust with the wind upon a hill, and as the whirlwind through a storm.

¹² And so shall ye go forth with joy, and be lead with peace. The mountains and hills shall sing with you for joy, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

⁷ But what is he, this that swelleth up as it were a flood, roaring and raging like the streams of water? ⁸ It is Egypt that riseth up like a flood, and casteth out the waters with so great noise. For they say, 'We will go up, and will cover the earth; we will destroy the cities, with them that dwell therein.'

³ For thou hadst cast me down deep in the midst of the sea; and the flood compassed me about: and all thy waves and rolls of water went over me.

²⁵ which by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, 'Why did the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things? ²⁶ The kings of the earth stood up and the rulers came together against the Lord, and against his Christ.' ²⁷ For of a truth, against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod and also Pontius Pilate with the gentiles, and the people of Israel, gathered themselves together:

¹⁵ And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman, as it had been a river, because she should have been caught of the flood.

¹⁵ And he said unto me, "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are people, and folk, and nations, and tongues.

¹¹ saying, 'Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further, and here shalt thou lay down thy proud and high waves.'

⁷ who stilleth the raging of the sea, the roaring of his waves, and the madness of the people.

⁶ For who is he among the clouds, that may be compared unto the LORD? Yea what is he among the gods, that shall be like unto the LORD?

⁹ Thou rulest the pride of the sea; thou stillest the waves thereof when they arise.

⁸ But thou, LORD, art the most highest for evermore.

³ The sea saw that, and fled, Jordan turned back. ⁴ The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like young sheep. ⁵ What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? And thou Jordan, that thou turnest back?

²² Fear ye not me, sayeth the LORD? Are ye not ashamed, to look me in the face? Which bind the sea with the sand, so that it cannot pass his bounds: for though it rage, yet can it do nothing; and though the waves thereof do swell, yet may they not go over.

³⁷ And there arose a great storm of wind, and dashed the waves into the ship, so that it was full. ³⁸ And he was in the stern asleep on a pillow. And they awoke him, and said to him, "Master, carest thou not that we perish?" ³⁹ And he rose up and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, "Peace and be still." And the wind allayed, and there followed a great calm:

³ Then Moses said unto Aaron, "This is it that the LORD spake, saying, 'I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified.'" And Aaron held his peace.

² "Speak unto all the multitude of the children of Israel, and say unto them, 'Be holy for I, the LORD your God, am holy.

⁴ For thou art the God that hast no pleasure in wickedness; neither shall any evil dwell with thee. ⁵ Such as be foolish shall not stand in thy sight, for thou hatest all them that work vanity. ⁶ Thou shalt destroy the liars; the LORD will abhor both the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. ⁷ But as for me, I will come into thy house, even upon the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

⁷ The law of the LORD is an undefiled law, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, and giveth wisdom unto simple. ⁸ The statutes of the LORD are right, and rejoice the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, and giveth light unto the eyes.

² Give the LORD the honour due unto his name; worship the LORD with holy worship.

⁵ O magnify the LORD our God; fall down before his footstool, for he is holy.

⁹ O magnify the LORD our God, and worship him upon his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

¹¹¹ Thy testimonies have I claimed as my heritage forever; and why? They are the very joy of my heart.

¹²⁹ {Pe} Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.

¹³⁸ The testimonies that thou hast commanded are exceeding righteous and true.

¹⁴⁴ The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting; O grant me understanding, and I shall live.

²⁰ If any man want light, let him look upon the law and the testimony whether they speak not after this meaning.

¹¹ Away, away, get you out from thence and touch no unclean thing. Go out from among such. And be clean ye that bear the vessel of the LORD.

²⁰ At that time shall the riding gear of the horses be holy unto the LORD, and the kettles in the LORD's house shall be like the basins before the altar: ²¹ yea all the kettles in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holy unto the LORD of Hosts: and all they that slay offerings, shall come and take of them, and dight them therein. And at that time there shall be no more Cananites in the house of the LORD.

³⁵ Heaven and earth shall perish: but my words shall abide.

²⁴ God is a spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit, and truth."

¹⁶ Are ye not aware that ye are the temple of God, and how that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? ¹⁷ If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

¹⁷ So God, willing very abundantly to show, unto the heirs of promise, the stableness of his counsel; he added an oath, ¹⁸ that by two immutable things — in which it was impossible that God should lie — we might have perfect consolation, which have fled, for to hold fast the hope that is set before us:

¹⁴ Embrace peace with all men, and holiness; without the which, no man shall see the Lord.

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God, that God hath born of his son. ¹⁰ He that believeth in the son of God hath the witness in himself. He that believeth not God, maketh him a liar, because he doth not believe the witness that God hath testified of his son. ¹¹ And this is the witness: how that God hath given unto us eternal life, and this life is in his son. ¹² He that hath the son, hath life: and he that hath not the son of God, hath not life. ¹³ These things have I written unto you that believe in the name of the son of God, that ye may know how that ye have everlasting life, and that ye may believe in the name of the son of God.

²⁷ And there shall enter into it none unclean thing; neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh lies, but they only which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
