¹⁸ Now this is all owing to God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath made us the ministers of this reconciliation;

¹⁵ Then he said to them, go ye into all parts of the world, and preach the gospel to all mankind. ¹⁶ he that believeth, and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that disbelieves, shall be condemned.

⁵ at your entrance into any house, first say, prosperity be to this family.

⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preach'd in his name, among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

¹⁶ for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have eternal life.

²⁷ but John made them this answer, a man can have no authority, but what he derives from heaven.

³⁶ this was what he communicated to the children of Israel, proclaiming salvation by Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of all mankind.

³⁸ know then, my brethren, it is by him, that the remission of sins is offer'd to you: ³⁹ by him, every one who believes, is purged from all that guilt, for which the law of Moses had made no such provision.

¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁰ for if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son: much more being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. ¹¹ and not only so, but we have present joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now obtained the reconciliation.

³⁶ for of him, and through him, and in him are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

³⁰ for from him it is that ye believe in Christ Jesus, whom God has made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that,

⁶ yet to us there is but one God, the father, from whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

⁶ and there are different operations, but it is the same God who performs them all in every one.

¹⁹ for it is God that has reconciled the world to himself, by Jesus Christ, by not imputing their sins to them; and hath committed to us the gospel of reconciliation. ²⁰ we then are ambassadors for Christ, and 'tis God who makes you the offers by us: we pray you in the name of Christ, to make your peace with God.

¹⁶ that he might reconcile both in one body unto God by the cross, wherefore he destroyed the enmity that was between them: ¹⁷ and being come, he preached the glad tidings of peace to YOU who were afar off, and to US that were nigh.

¹⁶ for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on earth, both visible and invisible, the thrones, and the sovereigntys, the principalitys, and the powers: all were created by him, and for him: he is before all things, ¹⁷ and by him all things consist.

²⁰ and having made peace by the blood of his cross, to reconcile all things to himself, both those in heaven, and those upon earth. ²¹ You then that formerly were alienated from God, and were enemies by your imaginations and wicked practices, even you has Jesus Christ now reconciled to the body of his church,

¹⁷ whence it was necessary he should be in all things like his brethren; that he might be a merciful high priest, and faithfully discharge the divine office of expiating the sins of the people.

¹⁷ every thing that is valuable, every gift that leads to perfection is deriv'd from heaven, it descends from that original light, which knows no change, no shadow, or decline:

² he is the the victim that has expiated our sins: and not ours only, but likewise the sins of the whole world.

¹⁰ and what heightens his love, was this, that it was not we who first loved God, but it was he that first loved us, and sent his son to expiate our sins.
