⁷ and wherever ye go, make this proclamation: the kingdom of heaven is nigh.

² and saying, "Repent ye: for the kingdom of the Messiah draws nigh."

¹⁷ from that time Jesus began to preach, "Repent, said he, for the kingdom of the Messiah draws nigh."

¹ When Jesus had made an end of giving his twelve disciples their instructions, he departed thence to go and preach to the Jews in their cities:

¹¹ I declare unto you, among the whole race of prophets, there never appear'd a greater than John the Baptist: (notwithstanding, he that is least in the kingdom of the ¹² Messiah is greater than he.) for ever since the appearance of John the Baptist the gospel kingdom is as it were invaded, and people of the most violent passions enter into it with zeal.

³¹ which of the two obey'd his father? they said, the first. Jesus reply'd, I declare to you, that the publicans and licentious people enter into the gospel kingdom before you.

⁴³ wherefore I declare to you, the gospel dispensation shall be taken from you, and given to a nation that shall make a proper use thereof.

¹³ Wo unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, who prey upon the estates of widows, under the pretext of making long prayers; therefore ye shall be punish'd with the greater severity.

¹² then they departed, and call'd upon all to repent.

² then sent them to proclaim the reign of the Messiah, and to heal the sick.

⁶ accordingly they departed, and travell'd thro' the towns, preaching the gospel, and performing cures every where.

⁶⁰ Jesus said to him, let the dead bury their dead; but do you go and preach the kingdom of God.

⁹ and heal the sick you find there. tell the inhabitants the kingdom of God is drawing nigh unto them. ¹⁰ but when you enter into any city, and they refuse to entertain you, go through the streets, ¹¹ and cry, "we shake off the dust, that sticks to our feet, against you: but take notice, the kingdom of God has been near you."

¹⁶ the law and the prophets were the only rule till John's time: since when, the kingdom of God has been proclaim'd, and all sorts of people strive to be members.

² who came to Jesus by night, and said to him, rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher sent from God: for no man can perform the miracles that you do, except God be with him.

² being displeas'd that they taught the people, and maintain'd the resurrection from the dead in the person of Jesus.

²⁵ as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and prostrated himself at his feet,

³¹ preaching the kingdom of God, and instructing them in all things relating to the Lord Jesus Christ, with the utmost freedom, without being molested.
