And why eatest thou not? & why is thyne herte so troubled? am not I better to the, then ten sonnes? ⁹ Then Hannah rose vp after that they had eaten and droncke in Siloh. And Eli the prieste sate vpon a stole by one of the syde postes of the temple of the Lord. ¹⁰ And she was troubled in her spretes, and prayed vnto the Lorde, and wepte sore, ¹¹ and vowed a vowe and said: Lord of hostes, yf thou wylt loke on the wretchednesse of thyne handmayde, and shalt remembre me, and not forget thyne handmayde, & shalte geue vnto thyne handmayde a manchylde I wyll geue him vnto the Lord, all the dayes of hys lyfe, & there shal neyther raser or sheres come vpon hys heade. ¹² And as she continued prayinge before the Lorde, Eli marked her mouth. ¹³ For Hannah she spake in her hert, and her lippes dyd but moue onely, but her voyce was not heard. And therfore Eli toke her for droncken ¹⁴ & sayd vnto her: how long wilt thou be droncken? put away from the, the wine that thou hast ¹⁵ Hannah answered & sayd: not so my Lorde, I am a woman sorowfull in myne hert, & haue droncke nether wyne nor any stronge drinck, but I haue poured out my soule before the Lorde. ¹⁶ Counte not thyne handemayde to be lyke a doughter of vnthriftynes: for out of the aboundaunce of my meditacyon, and greafe haue I spoken hytherto. ¹⁷ Eli aunswered and sayde: Go in peace the God of Israel shall graunt the thy petycyon that thou haste asked of hym. ¹⁸ Then she sayd: let thyne handmayde fynd grace in thy sight. And so the woman wente her waye, and dyd eate, and loked no more so sadde. ¹⁹ And they rose vp erlye, and bowed them selues before the Lorde, & then returned & went to theyr house to Ramath. And so the woman abode, and gaue her sonne sucke, vntyll she wened hym. ²⁴ And then she toke hym wyth her, when she had wened hym, with thre bullockes & an Epha of floure, & a bottel of wyne, & brought him vnto the house of the Lorde in Siloh how be it the chylde was yet young. ²⁵ And they slew the bullockes, & brought in the ladde to Eli, ²⁶ & then she sayde: Oh my Lorde: as truly as thy soule lyueth my Lorde: I am the woman that stode by the here, praying vnto the Lorde, ²⁷ and for thys ladde I praied, & the Lorde hath geuen me my desyre which I asked of him: ²⁸ & therfor I also lend him the Lord, as long as he may be lent the Lorde. ⁶ And the priest sayde vnto them: go in peace, for the waye whyche ye go is before the Lorde.

³¹ And they set them vp the kerued Image which Micah made, al the whyle the house of God was in Siloh.

¹ It chaunsed in those dayes, when there was no kynge in Israell, that a certain Leuyte dwellyng on the syde of mount Ephraim, toke to wyfe a concubyne out of Bethlehem Iuda:

² And the people came to Bethel and abode there till euen, before God & lifte vp their voyces and wept sore

² The name of the man was Elymelec, and his wyfe Noemi, and the names of his two sonnes were, Mahalon and Chilion and they were Ephraites, oute of Bethlehem Iuda. And when they came into the lande of Moab, they contynued there.

²⁰ But she said vnto them, calle me not Noemi: call me Mara, for the almightye hath made me very bitter.

¹³ Then she sayd vnto him: let me finde fauoure in thy sighte my Lorde, for thou hast comforted me, & hast spoken hertely vnto thy maide, which yet can not be like vnto one of thy maides.

¹⁵ and that shal bring thy lyfe agayne and cherishe thine olde age. For thy doughter in law, which loueth the, hath borne him that is better to the then seuen sonnes.

¹ There was a man of Ramathaim Zophim, of mount Ephraim named Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Elihu, the sonne of Thohu, the sonne of zuph an Ephratite:

³ And the sayde man went out of his citie euery festful day, to praye & to offer vnto the Lord of hostes: where the two sonnes of Eli (Hophni and Phinehes) were the Lordes priestes.

⁹ Then Hannah rose vp after that they had eaten and droncke in Siloh. And Eli the prieste sate vpon a stole by one of the syde postes of the temple of the Lord.

And therfore Eli toke her for droncken

¹⁷ Eli aunswered and sayde: Go in peace the God of Israel shall graunt the thy petycyon that thou haste asked of hym.

¹⁹ And they rose vp erlye, and bowed them selues before the Lorde, & then returned & went to theyr house to Ramath. And Elkenah laye by hys wyfe Hannah, and the Lorde remembred her.

²¹ And Elkanah and all hys house went vp to offer vnto the Lorde, bothe the offerynges due for the feaste and also his vowes: ²² but Hannah went not vp for she sayde vnto her husbande: I wyl tarye vntyll the ladde be wened, & then I wil bring hym, that he maye apeare before the Lorde, & there abide for euer.

²⁸ & therfor I also lend him the Lord, as long as he may be lent the Lorde. And so they prayed there vnto the Lord.

And so they dyd vnto all Israel that came thyther to Siloh. ¹⁵ Yea, & thereto before they had offered the fatte, the priestes lad came and sayde to the man that offered: geue fleshe to roste for the prieste, for he wyll not haue sodden fleshe of the, but rawe. ¹⁶ And yf any man sayd vnto hym let the fatte be offered accordynge to the daye, & then take as muche as thyne herte desireth. The lad wold aunswere him, thou shalt geue it me now, or els I wyl take it with violence. ¹⁷ And the synne of the young men was very great before the Lorde. For they dispysed the people and also the offerynge of the Lorde. ¹⁸ But the ladde Samuel mynystred before the Lord gyrded about wyth a lynen Ephod. ¹⁹ Moreouer hys mother made hym a lytle coote, and brought it to hym from feaste to feaste when she came vp with her husbande to offer the offeryng of the sayd feast.

³⁴ And this shalbe a sygne vnto the, that shal come vpon thy two sonnes, Hophni and Phinehes: euen in one daye they shal dye bothe of them.

¹ And the child Samuel ministred vnto the Lord Eli: & the word of the Lorde was precious in those dayes, for there was none open vision.

¹³ For I haue tolde him that I wyl iudge his house for euer. For the wyckednesse which he knoweth, how hys sonnes are vngracyouse, and he was not wroth therewyth.

¹⁵ And Samuell lay tyll the mornyng, & then opened the dores of the house of the Lorde. But Samuel feared, to shewe Eli the vysion.

³ And when the people were come into theyr tentes, the elders of Israel sayde: wherfore hath the Lord beaten vs thys daye before the Philistines? let vs fetche the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde, oute of Siloh vnto vs, & let it come among vs, & saue vs out of the handes of oure enemyes. ⁴ And the people sent to Siloh, and fet from thence the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde of hostes whiche dwelleth betwene the Cherubyns. And there were the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni & Phinehes with the arcke of the apoyntment of God.

¹⁷ And the messenger answered & sayd: Israel is fled before the Philistines, & there is a great slaughter chaunsed amonge the people, and thy two sonnes, Hophni & Phinehes are dead, & therto the arck of God is taken. ¹⁸ And when he made mencyon of the arcke of God, Eli fell from of hys stole backwarde towarde the gate, and hys necke brake, & he dyed: for he was olde & vnweldye and he had iudged Israel fourtye yeares.

⁵ Then when they were come to the lande of Zuph, Saule sayde to the youngeman that was with hym: come, let vs returne, lest my father leue caring for the asses, & take thought for vs.

²⁶ & they arose erlye. And about the spryng of the daye Samuel called vpon the toppe of the house saying: vp that I maye sende the awaye. And Saul arose. And they wente out at the dores both of them, both he and Samuell.

²⁷ But the children of vnthryftynesse sayde: how shall he saue vs? and despysed him & brought hym not presentes. And he made as though he had not hearde it.

¹² And this Dauid was the sonne of an Ephrathite of Bethlehem Iuda, named Isai, whyche Isai had eyght sonnes. And was an olde man in the daies of Saul among the people.

⁵⁵ When Saul saw Dauid go forth agaynst the Philistine, he sayde vnto Abner the captayne of hys host: Abner, whose sonne is this lad? And Abner answered, as truely as thy soule lyueth, O kynge, I can not tell.

³ And Dauid sware agayne and sayde: thy father knoweth that I haue founde grace in thyne eyes and therfore he thinketh, Ionathas shall not know it, leste he be sorye. For in very dede, euen as truly as the Lorde lyueth and as truely as thy soule lyueth, there is but a steppe betwene me and death.

²⁵ Let not my Lorde regarde thys vnthryftye man Nabal, for as hys name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and follye is with him. But I thine handmayde sawe not the younge men of my lorde whiche thou sendest.

³⁵ And so Dauid receyued of her hand that she brought hym, and sayde to her: go in peace to thine house. And se I haue obeyed thy voyce, and haue receyued the to grace.

⁷ wherefore returne and go in peace, that thou displease not the Lordes of the Philistines.

² he sayde vnto Nathan the Prophete: Beholde, I dwell in an house of Cedar trees, but the arcke of God dwelleth in the myddes of curtaynes.

²⁵ And nowe Lorde God the thyng thou haste sayd of thy seruaunt and of hys house make it good for euer, and do as thou haste sayde.

¹¹ And Vrias sayd vnto Dauid: the arck and Israel & Iuda dwell in pauilions: & my Lord Ioab and the seruauntes of my Lorde lye in tentes vpon the flat earthe: and shulde I then go into myne house, to eate and to dryncke & to lye wyth my wyfe? By thy lyfe and as sure as thy soule lyueth, I wyll not do that thyng.

¹⁶ And Dauid besought god for the boye and fasted and wente & laye all nyght vpon the earthe. ¹⁷ And the elders of hys house arose and wente to him to take hym vp from the earthe. But he wolde not, neyther yet eat meat wyth them.

³⁶ And as sone as he had lefte speakyng: behold, the kinges sonnes came and lyfte vp theyr voyces, & wept. And therto the kynge and all hys seruauntes wept excedynglye.

¹⁹ Then said the king: Is not the hand of Ioab with the in all this matter? And the woman aunswered and said: as sure as thy soule liueth my Lorde kinge, it is neyther on the right hande nor on the lefte, that my Lorde the kinge hath spoken. For thy seruaunt Ioab he bad me, and he put all these wordes euen in the mouthe of thyne handemayde.

¹² haplye the Lorde wyl loke on my wretchednesse, and do me good for hys cursynge thys daye.

⁸ For (sayd Husai) thou knowest thy father, & the men that are with him, how that they be strong men. And they be chafed in theyr mindes, euen as a beare robbed of her whelpes. And thy father is a man practised in warre and wyll not lye a nyghtes amonge the comen people.

²⁶ And Ieroboam the sonne of Nabat an Ephrathite of Zaredah (whose mother was called Zeruah & was a wydowe & he Salomons seruaunt) lyfte vp hys hand agaynst the kynge.

⁶ And Eliah sayd to him: tary I pray the here, for the lord hath sent me to Iordan But he sayde: as surely as the Lord liueth, and as thy soule lyueth, I will not leaue the. And so they went bothe of them together.

³⁰ Not withstandynge the mother of the chylde sayde, as sure as the Lorde lyueth, and as thy soule lyueth, I wil not leaue the. And then he arose and folowed her.

¹⁹ And he sayde to hym: Go in peace. And when he was departed from hym a furlonge of grounde,

¹² And Hazael sayd: why wepeth my Lorde: And he aunswered: for I knowe that thou shalte do euyll vnto the chyldren of Israel: theyr stronge cytyes thou shalte set on fyre & theyr younge men thou shalte sleye with the swerde, and shalte dashe oute the braynes of theyr suckynge chyldren, and all to teare their wemen wyth chylde.

³ Oh Lorde, remembre yet howe I haue walked before the truly and with a perfect herte, and haue done that whyche is good in thy sighte, and wepte a great pace.

¹⁰ But Ieabes called on the God of Israel, saying: If thou shalt blesse me, & enlarge my costes, and shalt let thyne hand be wyth me, & wylt kepe me from euyll that it vexe me not. And God sent hym hys desyre.

²⁵ The sonnes of Elcanah: Amasai, Ahimot ²⁶ and Elcanah. The sonnes of Elcanah, Zophai whose sonne was Nahath, ²⁷ and hys sonne Eliab and Ieroham hys sonne, and Elcanah hys sonne,

³⁴ The sonne of Elcanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel: the sonne of Thoah,

⁴ Then sayde the kyng vnto me: what is then thy request? then made I my prayer to the God of heauen,

² O that my mysery were weyed, and my punishmente layed in the balaunces: ³ for then should it be heuyer, then the sande of the sea. This is the cause, that my words are so soroufull.

¹⁴ He that is in trybulacyon oughte to be comforted of hys neyghbour: but the feare of the Lord is cleane awaye:

¹¹ Therfore I wyll not spare my mouth, but will speake in the trouble of my sprete, in the bytternesse of my mynde wyll I talke.

² How long wilt thou talke of such thynges? how longe shall thy mouth speake so proude words?

¹⁸ He wyll not let my sprete be in reste, but fylleth me with bytternesse.

¹ it greueth my soule to lyue. Neuerthelesse, nowe wyll I put forth my wordes: I will speake out of the very heuinesse of my soule,

²³ For yf thou wilt turne to the Almighty, thou shalt stande fast, & al vnrighteousnesse shalbe farre from thy dwellinge:

²¹ For they manteyne the baren, and make them that they can not beare, and vnto wyddowes they do no good.

¹⁶ Therfore is my minde poured full of heauynesse, & the dayes of trouble haue taken holde vpon me.

³ Heare my voyce by tymes (O Lorde) for early in the mornyng wyll I get me vnto the, yea and that with diligence.

⁷ But as for me, I wyl come into thy house euen vpon the multytude of thy mercy: and in thy feare wyll I worshippe towarde thy holy temple.

⁹ The Lord hath hearde myne humble petycyon, the Lorde hath receaued my prayer.

³ Remembre all thy offerynges, and accept thy brent sacrifice, Selah. ⁴ Graunte the thy hertes desyre, and fulfill all thy mynde. ⁵ We wyll reioyse in thy health, & triumphe in the name of the Lorde our God: the Lord perfourme all thy peticion.

⁹ But thou art he that toke me out of my mothers wombe: thou waste my hope, when I hanged yet vpon my mothers brestes.

⁶ Oh let thy louing kyndnes and mercy folowe me all the dayes of my life, that I may dwell in the house of the Lorde for euer.

¹ Of Dauid, Vnto the (O Lorde) I lyft vp my soule.

⁷ Oh remembre not the synnes and offences of my youth, but accordynge vnto thy mercye thynke vpon we, O Lord, for thy goodnesse.

¹⁸ Loke vpon myne aduersyty and misery, & forgeue me all my synnes.

⁴ One thynge haue I desyred of the Lorde, which I wyll requyre: namelye, that I maye dwel in the house of the Lorde all the dayes of my lyfe, to beholde the fayre beutye of the Lorde, and to viset his temple.

⁹ The voyce of the Lorde moueth the hyndes and discouereth the thicke bushes: in hys temple shall euerye man speake of hys honoure.

⁴ Now when I thincke ther vpon, I poure out my hert by my self: for I would faine go hence wyth the multytude and passe ouer wt them vnto the house of God, in the voyce of prayse and thankes geuynge, amonge suche as kepe holy daye.

⁴ That I maye go into the aulter of God, euen vnto the God whyche is my ioye & pleasure, and vpon the harpe to geue thankes vnto the, O God, my God.

¹⁵ And call vpon me in the tyme of trouble, so wyll I heare the, that thou shalte thanke me.

¹⁷ In the euenynge, mornyng and at noone daye will I mourne and complayne: and he shall heare my voyce.

³ How longe wyll ye ymagyn myschiefe agaynste euerye man? ye shalbe slayne all the sorte of you: yea as a tottrynge wall shall ye be, and lyke a broken hedge.

⁸ O put your trust in him alway (ye people) poure oute youre hertes before hym, for God is our hope. Selah.

¹⁹ Therfore God hath herde me, and consydred the voyce of my prayer. ²⁰ Praysed be God, which hath not cast out my prayer, ner turned his mercy fro me.

⁶⁰ So that he forsoke the Tabernacle in Silo, euen his habitacyon wherin he dwelte amonge men.

¹⁵ When he calleth vpon me, I shall heare hym: yea, I am with hym in hys trouble, wherout I will deliuer him, and bring hym to honoure.

² O let me haue vnderstandynge in the way of Godlynesse vntyll the tyme that thou come vnto me: and so shall I walcke in my house wyth an innocent herte.

⁴ The Lorde sware, and wyll not repente: Thou arte a priest for euer after the order of Melchisedec.

¹ I am wel pleased, that the Lord hath hearde the voyce of my prayer. ² That he hath enclyned his eare vnto me, therfore wil I cal vpon him as long as I lyue. ³ The snares of death compased me round aboute, the paynes of hell gat hold vpon me I founde trouble and heauynesse. ⁴ Then called I vpon the name of the Lord O Lorde: delyuer my soule. ⁵ Gracious is the Lord, and rightuous, yea oure God is mercyfull.

⁹ How longe wilt thou slepe? thou slogysh man? When wylte thou aryse out of thy slepe?

¹ A soft answere putteth downe displeasure. but frowarde words prouoke vnto anger.

¹⁵ With pacience may a prince be pacified, & wt a soft tong may rigoriousnes be broken.

⁴ If thou make a vowe vnto God, be not slacke to perfourme it. As for folish vowes, he hath no pleasure in them.

⁷ Go thou thy waye then, eate thy bread wyth ioy, and dryncke thy wyne wyth gladnesse, for thy worckes please God.

⁷ he shall make no ende to encrease the kyngedome and peace, and shall sytte vpon the seate of Dauid, and in his kyngedome, to set vp the same, to stablyshe it wyth equyte and ryghteousnesse, from thence forth for euermore. This shall the gelousy of the Lorde of hostes brynge to paste.

¹⁵ What shall I speake or saye, that he may this do? That I may lyue out all my yeares, yee in the bytternesse of my lyfe?

²⁶ But I set vp the purpose of my seruauntes, and fulfill the councell of my messaungers. I saye to Ierusalem: turne agayne: And to the cyties of Iuda, be ye buylded agayne: and I repayre their decayed places.

¹ Therfore be glad nowe, thou baren that bearest not. Reioyce, singe, and be mery, thou that arte not with chyld. For the desolate hath mo children, then the maried wife sayeth the Lorde.

⁶ For the Lord shal call the, beynge as a desolate sorowful woman and as a younge wyfe that hath broken her wedlocke: sayeth thy God.

¹² Go to my place in Silah, wherevnto I gaue my name afore tyme, & loke wel what I did to the same place for the wyckednes of my people of Israell. ¹³ And now, thoughe ye haue done all these dedes (sayth the Lorde) & I my selfe rose vp euer by tymes to warne you & to comen wyth you yet wolde ye not heare me: I called, ye wolde not aunswere. ¹⁴ And therfore euen as I haue done vnto Siloh, so wil I do to thys house, that my name is geuen vnto (and that ye put your trust in) ye vnto the place that I haue geuen to you & youre fathers.

¹⁷ But yf ye wyll not heare me, that geue you secrete warnyng, I will mourne fro my whole hert for youre stubburnesse. Pyteouslye wyll I wepe, and the teares shall gusshe out of myne eyes. For the Lordes flocke shall be caryed awaye captyue.

¹⁰ Mourne not ouer the deed, & be not wo for them, but be sory for hym that departeth awaye: for he commeth not agayne, and seeth his natyue countre no more.

¹⁹ Koph. Stande vp and make thy prayer in the first watch of the nyght, poure oute thyne herte lyke water before the Lord: lyft vp thyne handes, for the lyues of thy yonge chyldren, that dye of honger in the stretes.

¹⁵ He hath fylled me with bytternesse, and geuen me wormwod to dryncke.

¹⁵ The Lorde of hostes shall defende them, they shall consume and deuoure, & subdue them with slyng stones. They shal dryncke & rage as it were thorow wyne. They shalbe fylled like the basens, & as the hornes of the aulter.

²¹ She shall bryngforth a sonne, & thou shalt cal his name Iesus. For he shal saue his people from their sins.

¹ Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged. ² For as ye iudge so, shall ye be iudged. And with what measur ye meate, with the same shal it be measured to you agayne. ³ Why seiste thou a moote in thy brothers eye, & perceyuest not the beame that is in thyne owne eye?

⁷ Axe and it shalbe geuen you. Seke and ye shall fynde. Knocke & it shalbe opened vnto you.

³⁴ O generation of vipers, how can ye say well, when ye your selues are euil? For of the aboundaunce of the herte, the mouth speaketh. ³⁵ A good man out of the good treasure of hys herte, bringeth forth good thinges. And an euill man out of his euill treasure, bringeth forth euil thinges.

⁸ He sayde vnto them: Moyses because of the hardnes of youre hertes suffred you to put away your wyfes: But from the beginning it was not so.

¹⁹ Wo in those daies to theim that are with childe, and to them that geue sucke.

⁷ And they had no childe: because that Elyzabeth was barren, and both were well striken in age.

²² And when the tyme of their puryfycacion (after the lawe of Moyses) was come, they brought him to Ierusalem, to presente hym to the Lorde

⁸ I saye vnto you, thoughe he woulde not arise and geue him, because he is hys frende: yet because of hys importunitie he wold ryse, and geue him as many as he neded. ⁹ And I saye vnto you: axe and it shalbe geuen you. Seke, and ye shal finde. Knocke, and it shalbe opened vnto you. ¹⁰ For euery one that axeth, receyueth: and he that seketh, findeth: & to hym that knocketh shall it be opened

²⁷ And it fortuned as he spake those thinges, a certayne woman of the companye lyft vp her voyce, and sayde vnto hym: Happy is the wombe that bare the, and the pappes whiche gaue the sucke.

¹ And he put forth a similitude vnto them signifyeng that men ought alwaies to pray, & not to be werye,

¹⁵ They broughte vnto hym also babes: that he shoulde touche them. When hys disciples saw that they rebuked them. ¹⁶ But Iesus called them vnto hym, and sayed: Suffer children to come vnto me, and forbyd them not. For of suche is the kyngdome of God.

⁴⁴ And he was in agonye, and praied some what longer. And his sweate was lyke droppes of bloude trycklinge doune to the grounde.

⁴² And he sayd vnto Iesus: Lord remembre me when thou commeste into thy kyngdome.

¹³ And they sayd vnto her: Woman, why wyppest thou? She sayed vnto them: For they haue taken awaye my Lorde, and I wote not where they haue layed hym.

¹⁵ Iesus sayde to her: woman why wepest thou? Whome sekest thou? She supposynge that he had bene the gardener, sayed vnto him: Syr yf thou haue borne him hence, tell me where thou hast layed hym, that I maye fet him.

¹³ Other mocked them sayinge: they are full of newe wyne.

²⁶ Lykewyse the spirite also helpeth our infirmityes. For we knowe not what to desyre as we ought: but the spirite maketh intercession mightelye for vs wyth gronynges whiche can not be expressed with tonge.

¹³ The God of hope fil you with all ioye, and peace in beleuynge, that ye maye be ryche in hope thorowe the power of the holye ghoste.

⁷ suffreth all thinge, beleueth all thinges, hopeth al thinges, endureth in all thinges.

²⁵ Wherfore put awaye lyinge, and speake euerye man trueth vnto hys neyghboure, for as muche as we are membres one of another.

³¹ Let all bitternes, fearsnes and wrath, roring and cursed speakinge, be put awaye from you, wyth all maliciousnes.

¹⁸ And praye all wayes wyth all maner prayer and supplicacion: and that in the spirite, and watch therunto with all instaunce and supplication for all sainctes,

⁶ Be not carefull: but in all thinges shewe your petition vnto God in prayer and supplication, wyth geuinge of thankes. ⁷ And the peace of God, whiche passeth al vnderstandynge, kepe your hertes and myndes in Chryste Iesu.

² Contynue in prayer & watch in the same wyth thankes geuynge,

¹⁴ We desyre you brethren, warne them that are vnruly, comforte the feble minded, forbeare the weake, haue contynuall pacience towarde all men.

¹⁷ Praye contynuallye.

¹⁵ and for as muche also as thou haste knowen holy scrypture of a chyld, whiche is able to make the wyse vnto saluacion thorowe the fayth which is in Christ Iesu.

⁷ Which in the daies of his flesh did offer vp praiers and supplications, wyth strong criynge and teares, vnto him that was able to saue hym from death, and was also hearde because of his Godlines.

¹⁶ Knoweledge youre fautes one to another; and praye one for another, that ye maye be healed. The prayer of a ryghtuous man auayleth muche yf it be feruente.

¹⁵ And yf we knowe that he heareth vs whatsoeuer we axe, we knowe, that we shall haue the peticyons that we desyre of hym.
