¹² hys leaues were fayre, he had verye muche frute, so that euerye man had ynough to eate therein. The beastes of the feld had shadowes vnder it, and the foules of the ayre dwelte in the bowes therof. Shortly, all creatures fed of it.

⁶ And nowe wyl I delyuer all these landes into the power of Nabuchodonosor the Kynge of Babylon, my seruaunt. The beastes also of the felde shall I geue hym to do hym seruyce. ⁷ And all people shall serue hym, and hys sonne, and hys chyldes chyldren, vntyll the tyme of the same lande become also: yea many people & greate Kynges shall serue hym.

²⁰ Res. The verye breth of oure mouth: euen the anoynted Lorde him self shalbe taken in oure synnes, of whom we saye: Vnder his shadowe we shalbe preserued amonge the Heythen.

²³ Namely, vpon the hye hill of Syon wil I plante it: that it may brynge forth twigges, and geue frute, and be a greate Cedre tree: so that all maner of foules maye byde in it, and make their nestes vnder the shadowe of hys braunches.

⁶ All foules of the ayre made theyr nestes in hys braunches, vnder his bowes gendred all these beastes of the felde and vnder hys shadowe dwelte all people. ⁷ Fayre and beutyful was he in hys greatnesse and in the length of hys braunches, for hys rote stode besyde great waters,

³² whych is the leest of all seedes. But when it is growen it is the greatest among herbes, & it groweth vp into a tree: so that the byrdes of the ayre come and buylde in the braunches of it.

³² But of the daye & houre knoweth no man: no not the Aungels whiche are in heauen neyther the sonne him selfe saue the father onelye.

¹⁹ It is lyke a grayne of mustarde seede, whiche a man toke and sowed in hys garden: & it grew and wexed a greate tree, and the foules of the ayre made nestes in the braunches of it.
