¹³ The summe of the writting was, how there was a commaundement geuen in al landes to be publyshed vnto al the people, that the Iewes shoulde be ready against that day to auenge them selues on their enemies:

²⁸ And Samson called vnto the Lorde, and sayde: my Lorde Iehouah thynke vpon me, and strengthen me, at this tyme only o God, that I maye be aduenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

¹⁴ Thys was the summe of the writtynge, that there shoulde be a commaundement geuen in all landes, to be publyshed vnto all people, that they shoulde be ready agaynst the same daye.

¹⁴ The vngodly drawe oute the swerde & bende their bowe, to caste doune the simple and poore, and to slaye suche as go the right waye. ¹⁵ Neuertheles, their swerde shal go thorow their owne hert, and theyr bowe shalbe broken.

²³ That thy fote may be dipped in the bloud of thyne enemyes, and that thy dogges may licke it vp.

¹⁰ But my horne shalbe exalted like the horne of an Vnicorne, & shalbe anoynted wyth fresh oyle. ¹¹ Myne eye also shall se hys luste of myne enemyes, and myne eare shall heare his desire of the wicked that ryse vp agaynst me.

⁶ Let the prayses of God be in their mouth and sharpe swerdes in their handes. ⁷ To be auenged of the Heathen, and to rebuke the people. ⁸ To bynde their Kynges in cheynes, and their nobles with lynckes of yron. ⁹ That they may be auenged of them, as it is written, such honour haue all his saynctes. Prayse the euerlastynge.

⁷ And shall not God aduenge his electe, which crye daye and nyghte vnto hym, ye though he defarre them?

¹⁰ and they cryed wyth a loude voyce sayinge: Howe longe tariest thou Lord holy and true, to iudge and to auenge oure bloud on them that dwell on the earth?
