⁷ for the bloude is yet in it. Vpon a playne drye stone hath she poured it, and not vpon the grounde, that it might be couered with dust:

¹³ Whatsoeuer man it be of the chyldren of Israell or of the straungers that soiourne amonge you that hunteth and catcheth anye beest or foule that may be eaten, he shal poure out the bloud and couer it wyth erth,

¹⁶ onely eat not the bloud, but poure it vpon the earth as water.

²⁴ thou mayst not eate it: but must poure it vpon the erth as water.

¹⁹ And saye vnto him: thus saith the Lorde, thou hast killed & therto gotten possession. And saie moreouer vnto him, thus sayth the lord: in the place where dogges lapped the bloude of Naboth, shall dogges lappe euen thy bloude also.

¹⁸ O earth, couer not my bloud, and let my cryenge fynde no rowme.

⁹ The chaungynge of their countenaunce bewrayeth them, yea they declare theyr owne synnes them selues, as the Sodomites, and hyde them not. Wo be vnto theyr soules, for they shalbe heuely rewarded.

²¹ For beholde, the Lorde wyl go out of his habitacyon, and vpset the wyckednesse of them that dwell vpon earthe. He wyl dyscouer the bloud that she hath deuoured, she shal neuer hyde them, that she hath murthered.

³⁴ Vpon thy wynges is founde the bloude of poore and innocent people, and that not in corners and holes onlye, but openly in all these places.

¹⁵ Therfore they must be ashamed, for they haue committed abhomynacyon. But howe shulde they be ashamed, when they knowe nothinge, neither of shame nor good nurtoure? And therfore they shall fall amonge the slayne, and in the houre when I shall vyset them, they shall be brought doune, sayeth the Lorde.
