1 These are the wordes, that the Lorde spake vnto Ieremye the Prophete agaynste the Phylystines, before the Pharao smote the cytye of Azah.
2 Thus sayeth the Lorde: Beholde, there shall waters aryse oute of the Northe: & shall growe to a greate floude, runnynge ouer and coueryng the land, the cytyes, and them that dwell therein. And the men shall crye, and al they that dwel in the lande, shall mourn
3 at the noyse & stampynge of theyr stronge barbed horses, at the shakynge of theyr charettes and at the romblynge of the wheles. The fathers shall not loke to theyr chyldren, so feable and wery shall theyr handes be:
4 at the same tyme, when he shall be there, to destroye the whole lande of the Philistines. He shall make waste both Cirus, Sidon and all other that are sworne vnto them. For the Lorde wyll destroye all Palestina and the other Iles, that be deuyded from the countre.

6 O thou sweard of the Lord? Turne agayne into thy sheeth, reste, and leaue of.

Ezekiel 17:15-21
15 But he fell from him, & sent hys Embassitoures into Egipte, that he myght haue horses and much people. Should that prospere? Shoulde he be kept safe, that doeth suche thynges? Or shoulde he escape that breaketh his couenaunt?
16 As truely as I lyue sayeth the Lorde God: He shal dye at Babylon, in the place where the kyng dwelleth, that made him King: whose othe he hath despysed, and whose couenaunte he hath broken.
17 Neyther shall Pharao wyth his greate hoste and multitude of people, maynteyne him in the warre: when they cast vp dyches, and set vp bulworches to destroye much people.
18 For seyng he hath despysed the othe, and broken the couenaunt (where as he yet gaue his hande thervpon) and done all these thynges, he shall not escape.
19 Therfore thus sayeth the Lorde God: As truely as I lyue. I wil bring myne othe that he hath despised, & my couenaunt that he hath broken, vpon his owne heade.
20 I will cast my net aboute hym, and catche him in my yarne. To Babylon wil I carye him, there wyll I punyshe him, because of the greate offence that he made me.
21 As for those that fle from him out of the hoste, they shalbe slayne with the swerd. The residue shalbe scatred toward all the wyndes, and ye shal knowe, that I the Lorde haue spoken it.
Ezekiel 25:1-17
1 The worde of the Lorde came vnto me, saying:
2 Thou sonne of man, set thy face againste the Ammonites, prophecy vpon them,
3 & say vnto the Ammonites: hear the worde of the Lorde God. Thus sayeth the Lorde God: For so muche as thou speakest ouer my Sanctuarye. A ha, I trow it be now suspended: and ouer the lande of Israel, I trowe it be nowe desolate: ye and ouer the house of Iuda, I trow they be now led away presoners:
4 Beholde, I will deliuer the to the people of the east, that they maye haue the in possession, these shal set their castels and houses in the. They shall eate thy frute, & drincke vp thy milcke.
5 As for Rabath. I will make of it a stall for camels, and of Ammon a shepefolde: & ye shal knowe, that I am the Lord.
6 For thus sayeth the lord God: In so much as thou hast clapped with thine handes, and stamped with thy fete, yea reioysed in thyne herte ouer the lande of Israell with despyte:
7 beholde, I will stretche out myne hand ouer the also, and delyuer the, to be spoyled of the Heathen, and rote the out from amonge the people, and cause the to be destroyed out of al landes: yea, I will make the be layed waste, that thou mayest know, that I am the Lorde.
8 Thus sayeth the Lorde God: For so much as Moab and Seir do say: As for the house of Iuda, it is but lyke as all other Gentyles be.
9 Therfore beholde, I will make the cytyes of Moab weapenlesse, and take awaye their strength: thir cyties and chefe coastes of their lande, whiche are the pleasures of the countrey. As namelye: Bethiesimoth, Baalmeon and Cariathaim:
10 these will I open vnto them of the East, that they maye fall vpon the Ammonites: and wil geue it them in possession, so that the Ammonites shall no more be had in remembraunce amonge the Heathen.
11 Euen thus will I punishe Moab also, that they may knowe, how that I am the Lorde.
12 Moreouer, thus sayeth the Lorde God: Because that Edom hath auenged and eased him selfe vpon the house of Iuda,
13 therefore thus sayeth the Lorde: I wyll reache oute myne hande vpon Edom, and take awaye man and beast oute of it. From Theman vnto Dedan will I make it desolate, they shalbe slayne wt the swearde.
14 Thorowe my people of Israell will I auenge me agayne vpon Edom: they shall handle him, accordinge to my wrath & indignacion, so that they shall know my vengeaunce, sayeth the Lorde God.
15 Thus sayeth the Lorde God: For so much as the Philistines haue done this, namely taken vengeaunce with despitefully stomackes and of an olde euyl will set them selues to destroye.
16 Therfore thus saith the Lorde God: Beholde: I will stretch oute mine hande ouer the Philistines, and destroye the destroyer, and cause all the remnaunt of the sea coaste to perishe.
17 A greate vengeaunce will I take vpon them, & punish them cruelly: that they maye knowe, how that I am the Lorde, which haue auenged me of them.
Ezekiel 29:18
18 Thou sonne of man, Nabuchodonosor the kynge of Babylon hath made hys hoste, wyth greate trauayle and laboure to come before Tyre: that euerye head may be balde, and euerye shoulder bare. Yet hath Tyre geuen neyther hym nor hys hoost anye rewarde, for the greate trauayle that he hath taken there.
