Yea all the pomgarnettes, palmetrees, appeltrees & the other trees of the felde shall wyther awaye. Thus the mery cheare of the chyldren of men, shall come to confusyon. ¹³ Gyrde you, & make youre mone, O ye prestes: mourne ye mynysters of the aulter: go youre way in, and slepe in sackcloth, O ye offycers of my God: for the meate and drinckofferynge shall be taken awaye from the house of youre God. ¹⁴ Proclame a fastynge, call the congregacyon, gather the elders & all the inhabiters of the lande together into the house of the Lord your God, & crye vnto the Lorde: ¹⁵ alas, alas, for thys daye. For nowe is oure saluacyon nearer, then when we beleued. ¹² The night is passed, and the day is come ny. Let vs therfore caste awaye the dedes of darcknes, & let vs put on the Armoure of lyghte. ¹³ Let vs walke honestlye as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge and drynkynge: neyther in chamburynge and wantonnes, neyther in stryfe & enuiynge: ¹⁴ but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not prouysyon for the fleshe, to fulfyll the lustes of it.

¹ Let men thus wyse esteme vs, euen as the ministers of Christ, and disposers of the secretes of of God.

¹³ Do ye not vnderstande howe that they whiche minister in the temple, haue their fyndynge of the temple? And they whych wayte at the aulter, are partakers of the aulter?
