² Euery braunche that beareth not frute in me, he wyll take awaye. And euerye braunche that beareth frute, wil he pourge, that it maye bryng more frute.

⁹ The ryghteous wyll kepe his waye, & he that hath cleane handes, wyll euer be stronger & stronger.

⁷ O purge me with Isope, and I shall be cleane: wash thou me, and I shalbe whyter then snowe. ⁸ Oh let me heare of ioye & gladnesse, that the bones which thou hast broken, maye reioyse. ⁹ Turne thy face from my synnes, & put oute all my misdedes. ¹⁰ Make me a cleane hert, O God, & renue a right sprete within me. ¹¹ Cast me not awaye from thy presence, & take not thy holy sprete from me. ¹² O geue me the comforte of thy helpe agayne, and stablish me with thy sprete. ¹³ Then shall I teache thy wayes vnto the wicked, that sinners may be conuerted vnto the.

¹⁸ The path of the ryghtuous shyneth as the lyghte, and is euer brighter and brighter vnto the perfecte daye.

⁹ And therfor shall the iniquite of Iacob be thus reconcyled. And so shall he take away all the frute of hys sinnes. As for aulter stones, he shall make them all as stones beaten to poulder: the groues & Idols shall not stande.

¹⁹ The oppressed shall holde a merye feaste in the Lorde, and the poore people shall reioyse in the holye one of Israell.

³ Then shall we haue vnderstanding, and endeuoure oure selues to knowe the Lorde. He shall go forth as the springe of the daye, & come vnto vs as the eueninge and morninge rayne vpon the earth.

³ He shall syt hym doune to trye and to clense the syluer, he shall pourge the children of Leui, & puryfye them lyke as golde and syluer: that they may bring meatofferinges vnto the Lorde in righteousnes.

¹⁰ Euen now is the axe put vnto the rote of the trees: so that euerye tre which bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewen doun & cast into the fire.

¹² which hath also his fan in hys hande, and will purge his floure gather the wheat into his garner, & wyl burne the chaffe with vnquenciable fyre.

¹² For whosoeuer hath to hym shalbe geuen, and he shall haue aboundaunce. But whosoeuer hath not: from hym shalbe taken awaye euen that he hath.

³³ Another similitude sayde he to them. The kyngdom of heauen is lyke vnto leuen, which a woman taketh and hydeth in .iij. peckes of mele, tyll all be leuended.

¹³ He aunswered and sayd: al plantes whiche my heauenly father hath not planted, shalbe plucked vp by the rootes.

¹⁹ and spyed a fygge tree in the waye, and came to it, and found nothynge thereon, but leaues onely, and sayed to it, neuer frute growe on the hence forwardes. And anone the figge tre wyddered away

¹³ Thei on the stones, are thei which when they heare, receiue the worde with ioye. But these haue no rotes, whiche for a whyle beleue, & in tyme of temptacion go awaye.

⁷ Then sayde he to the dresser of hys vyneyard: Beholde thys thre yeare haue I come and sought frute in thys fygge tre, and fynde none, cut it doune: why comvreth it the grounde. ⁸ And he aunswered, & sayde vnto hym: Lorde let it alone thys yeare also, tyll I digge rounde aboute it, and dounge it, ⁹ to se whether it wyl beare frute, and yf it beare not then, after that cut it doune.

⁸ Here is my father glorifyed that ye beare muche fruyte, and be made my disciples.

¹⁶ Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you and ordeyned you, that ye go & bringe forth frute, and that your frute remayne, and that whatsoeuer ye shall axe of the father in my name, he shoulde geue it to you.

¹² Whyle I was with them in the worlde, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gauest me, haue I kept, and none of them is lost, but that loste chylde, that the scripture myght be fulfylled.

³ Nether do we so only: but also we reioice in tribulacion. For we know that tribulation bryngeth pacience, ⁴ pacience bringeth experience, experience bringeth hope. ⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, for the loue of God is sheed abroade in our hertes by the holye ghost, which he is geuen vnto vs.

²⁸ For we knowe that all thynges worke for the beste vnto them that loue God, whyche also are called of purpose.

¹ Thought I speake with tounges of men and angels, and yet had no loue, I were euen as soundinge brasse, or as a tynklinge Cimbal.

¹⁷ For oure excedynge trybulation whiche is momentanye and lyghte, prepareth an excedynge and eternall wayghte of glory vnto vs, ¹⁸ whyle we loke not on the thinges whiche are sene, but on the thinges which are not sene. For thynges whiche are sene, are temporall, but thynges whiche are not sene, are eternall.

²² But the frute of the spiryte, is loue, ioye peace, longe sufferynge, gentylnes, goodnes, faithfulnes, ²³ mekenes, temperauncye. Against suche there is no lawe.

⁹ And this I praye, that youre loue maye increase more and more in knowledge, and in al fealinge, ¹⁰ that ye myght accepte thinges moste excellent, that ye might be pure and such as should hurte no mannes conscience, vntyll the daye of Christe, ¹¹ fylled with the fruites of rightuousnes, which fruites come by Iesus Christ vnto the glory and laude of God.

⁵ for the hopes sakes, whiche is layde vp in store for you in heauen of whiche hope ye haue heard before by the true worde of the Gospe ⁶ which is come vnto you, euen as it is into all the world, and is frutefull, as it is amonge you, from the fyrste daye in the, whiche ye hearde of it, and had experience in the grace of God in the trueth, ⁷ as ye learned of Epaphra oure deare felowe seruaunte, whiche is for you a faythfull minister of Christe, ⁸ whiche also declared vnto vs your loue, whiche ye haue in the spirite. ⁹ For this cause we also, sence the daye we heard of it, haue not ceased prayeng for you, and desiring that ye myght be fulfilled with the knowledge of his will, in all wysdome, and spiritual vnderstandinge, ¹⁰ that ye mighte walke worthy of the Lorde in all thinges, that please him beyng frutefull in all good workes, and encreasing in the knowledge of God

²³ The very God of peace sanctifye you thorowout. And I praye God that your whole spyryte, soule and bodye, be kept faultles vnto the comming of oure Lorde Iesus Christe. ²⁴ Faythfull is he whiche called you: which wyl also do it.

¹⁴ whiche gaue hym selfe for vs, to redeme vs from al vnryghtuousnes and to pourge vs a peculyar people vnto him selfe, feruently geuen vnto good workes.

⁷ For that earthe whiche drincketh in the rayne whiche commeth ofte vpon it, and bryngeth forth herbes mete for them that dresse it, receyueth blessynge of God. ⁸ But that ground which beareth thornes and bryars, is reproued, and is nye vnto curssynge: whose ende is to be burned.

¹⁰ And they verely for a few dayes, nurtered vs after their owne pleasure, but he learneth vs vnto that whiche is profytable that we myght receyue of hys holynes. ¹¹ No maner chastisynge for the presente tyme semeth to be ioyeous, but greuous: neuerthelesse afterwarde, it bryngeth the quyet frute of ryghtuousnes vnto them whiche are therein exercysed.

¹⁵ And loked to, that no man be destitute of the grace of God, and that no rote of bytternes sprynge vp and trouble, and therebye manye be defyled,

¹⁹ They went out from vs, but they were not of vs. For yf they had bene of vs: they woulde no doubte, haue continued wyth vs. But that fortuned, that it myghte appeare, that they were not of vs.

¹⁹ As manye as I loue, I rebuke and chastes. Be feruent therfore and repente.
