³ And suche thinges shall they do vnto you, because they haue not knowen the father, neyther yet me.

²² All thynges are geuen me of my father. And no man knoweth who the sonne is, but the father: neyther who the father is, saue the sonne, and he to whom the sonne wyll shewe hym.

¹⁹ Then sayde they vnto hym: where is thy father? Iesus aunswered: ye neyther knowe me nor yet my father. Yf ye had knowen me, ye shoulde haue knowen my father also.

⁵⁵ and ye haue not knowen hym: but I knowe hym, And yf I shoulde saye: I knowe hym not, I shoulde be a lyer lyke vnto you. But I knowe hym, and kepe hys saiynge.

²¹ But all these thinges wyll they do vnto you, for my names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.

²³ He that hateth me, hateth my father.

³ This is lyfe eternall that they myghte knowe, the that onely very God, and whome thou haste sente Iesus Christ.

²⁵ O righteous father, the very world hath not knowen the: but I haue knowen the, and these haue knowen that thou haste sente me.

⁸ whiche wisdome none of the rulars of this worlde knewe. For had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lorde of Glorye.

³ Yf oure Gospell be yet hyd, it is hyd among them that are loste, ⁴ in whome the God of thys worlde hath blynded the myndes of them which beleue not, leste the lyght of the gloryous gospell of Christe which is the ymage of God shoulde shyne vnto them. ⁵ For we preache not oure selues, but Christ Iesus to be the Lorde, and oure selues youre seuauntes for Iesus sake. ⁶ For it is God that commaunded the lighte to shyne out of darknes, whiche hath shyned in oure hertes, for to geue the lyghte of the knoweledge of the glorye of God, in the face of Iesus Christe.

⁸ in flammynge fyre, rendrynge vengeaunce vnto them that knowe not God, and to them that obeye not vnto the Gospel of our Lorde Iesus Christ,

¹⁰ and in all deceyuablenes of vnryghtuousnes, amonge them that peryshe: because they receyued not the loue of the truethe, that they myght haue bene sayed. ¹¹ And therfore God shall sende them stronge delusyon, that they shoulde beleue lyes: ¹² that all they myghte be damned which beleued not the trueth but had pleasure in vnryghtuousnes.

¹³ when before I was a blasphemer and persecuter, and a tyraunte. But I obtayned mercye, because I dyd it ignorauntly thorowe vnbelefe.

¹ Beholde what loue the father hath shewed on vs, that we shoulde be called the sonnes of God. For this cause the worlde knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him.

⁸ He that loueth not, knoweth not God: for God is loue.

²⁰ We know, that the sonne of God is come, & hath geuen vs a minde to know him which is true, & we are in him, that is true thorowe his sonne Iesus Christ. This same is verye God, and eternal lyfe.
