But the kynge of Edom wolde not agre therto. And in lyke maner they sente vnto the Kynge of Moab, but he wolde not consent. And so Israel abode styll in Cades. ¹⁸ And then they wente a longe thorowe the wildernesse, and compased the lande of Edom, & the lande of Moab, and came a longe by the eastsyde of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other syde the riuer of Arnon, and came not wythin the coastes of the Moabites: for Arnon was their vtmost border. ¹⁹ And then Israel sent messengers vnto Sehon, Kynge of the Amorites, and Kynge of Hesbon, and said vnto him: Let vs passe thorow thy land vnto our owne countreye. ²⁰ But Sehon trusted not Israel, to go thorow hys coastes, but gathered all his people together and pytched in Iazah, and fought wyth Israell. ²¹ But the Lord God of Israel delyuered Sehon and al his folcke into the handes of Israel. But thou doest me wronge, to warre agaynste me. The Lorde therfore be iudge this daye, betwene the chyldren of Israel, and the children of Ammon.

²⁹ Then the spirite of the Lorde came vpon Iephthah. And he passed ouer Galaad & Manasses, & came to Mazphah that lyeth in Galaad, and from thence vnto the children of Ammon.

¹³ Thus sayeth the Lorde God: Let this be the border wherin ye shall deuyde the lande vnto the .xij. tribes of Israell, wyth the lyne. ¹⁴ Parte it indyfferently vnto one as vnto another: of the which land I swore vnto youre fathers: that it shulde fall to youre enheritaunce. ¹⁵ Thys is the broder of the lande vpon the northside, from the mayne sea, as men go to Zadada: ¹⁶ namelye Hemath, Berotha, Sabarim: from the borders of Damascus and Hemath vnto Hazar Tichon, & that lyeth vpon the coastes of Haueran. ¹⁷ Thus the borders from the sea forte, shalbe Hazar Euan, the border of Damascus the North, and the borders of Hemath: that is the North parte. ¹⁸ The east syde shall ye measure from Haueran and Damascus, from Galead and the lande of Israell by Iordane and so forth, from the sea coast, that lyeth eastwarde: and this is the east parte. ¹⁹ The southsyde is, from Thamar forth to the waters of stryfe vnto Cades, the ryuer, to the mayne sea: and that is the south parte. ²⁰ The west warte: namely the greate sea from the borders therof, tyll a man come vnto Hemath: this is the west parte. ²¹ Thys lande shall ye parte amonge you, according to the tribes of Israell, ²² & deuide it to be an heretage for you, & for the straungers that dwell amonge you, & begette chyldren. For ye shall take them amonge the chyldren of Israell, lyke as though they were of youre owne housholde and countre, and they shall haue heretage with you amonge the chyldren of Israell. ²³ Loke in what tribe the straunger dwelleth, in the same tribe shall ye geue hym hys heretage, sayeth the Lorde God.

²³ Now of the other trybes. From the east parte vnto the west, shall Beniamin haue hys porcion. ²⁴ Vpon the borders of BenIamin from the east syde vnto the west, shall Symeon haue his porcion. ²⁵ Vpon the borders of Symeon from the east parte vnto the west, shall Izakar haue hys porcyon. ²⁶ Vpon the borders of Izakar from the east syde vnto the west, shall Sabulon haue his porcion. ²⁷ Vpon the borders of Sabulon from the east parte vnto the west, shall Gad haue hys porcion. ²⁸ Vpon the borders of Gad southwarde, the coastes shall reach from Thamar forth vnto the waters of stryfe to Cades, and to the floude, euen vnto the many sea. ²⁹ This is the lande with his porcions, which ye shall dystribute vnto the trybes of Israel, sayeth the Lorde God.

⁴ Thou Tyrus & Sidon and all ye borders of the Philistines: what haue ye to do with me? Wil ye defye me? wel yf ye wil nedes defye me, I shal recompence you, euen vpon youre head, & that right shortly:

¹⁴ Therefore I wyl kyndle a fyre in the walles of Rabbath that shal consume her palaces: with a great crie, in the daye of batel, in tempest & in the daye of storme,

¹⁰ Agayne: I broughte you oute of the lande of Egypte, and led you .xl. yeares thorowe the wyldernesse, that ye myghte haue the Amorytes lande in possession.

² Go vnto Calne, and se: & from thence get you to Hemath the greate cytye, and so go doune to Gath of the Philistines: be they better at ease then these kyngedomes, or the border of theyr lande wyder then yours?

⁴ For Gaza shal be destroyed, and Ascalon shall be layed waste. They shal caste oute Asdod at the noone daye, and Accaron shalbe pluckte vp by the rotes. ⁵ Wo vnto you that dwell vpon the sea cost ye murtherous people: the worde of the Lord shal come vpon you. O Canaan thou lande of the Phylistines, I wyl destroy the, so that there shall no man dwel in the any more:

⁷ And they had no childe: because that Elyzabeth was barren, and both were well striken in age.

¹ It came to passe as the people preased vpon him to heare the worde of God, that he stode by the lake of Genezareth:

¹⁵ and haue forsaken the ryght waye, and are gone astray folowing the waye of Balam the sonne of Bosor, whiche loued the rewarde of vnrightuousnes,

¹¹ Wo be vnto them, for they haue folowed the waye of Cayn, and are vtterlye geuen to the errour of Balam for lukers sake, and peryshe in the treason of Core.

¹⁴ But I haue a fewe thinges against the, that thou hast there, them that maintaine the doctryne of Balam, whiche taught in Balake, to put occasyon of synne before the chyldren of Israel, that they shoulde eate of meate dedicate vnto ydoles & committe fornicacion.

²⁰ And the beast was taken, & with hym that false prophete that wrought miracles before him with which he deceyued them that receiued the beastes marke, & them that worshipped his Image These both were cast into a ponde of fyre burnyng with brimstone:
