⁴⁶ And Marye sayde: My soule magnifyed the Lorde.

¹ And Hannah prayd & sayd: myne herte reioyseth in the Lord, myne horne is hye in the Lorde, & my mouthe is wyde open ouer mine enemyes, for I reioyse in thy sauynge. ² There is none so holye as the Lorde: no there is none saue thou. Neyther is there any strength like vnto our God. ³ Talke not to muche proudlye: let olde thynges depart oute of your mouthes, for the Lorde is a God of knowledge, & iudgeth the thoughtes. ⁴ The boowes of the strong are broken, & the weake are endued with strength. ⁵ They that were full, haue hyred out them selues for breade, and they that were hongrye cease so to be: in so much that the baren hath borne seuen, & she that had many chyldren is waxed feble. ⁶ The Lorde kylleth and maketh a lyue, bryngeth doune to hell & fetcheth vp agayne ⁷ The Lorde maketh pore, and maketh ryche, bryngeth lowe, and heueth vp on hye. ⁸ He reyseth vp the poore out of the duste, and lyfteth vp the begger from the dong hill: to set them among princes, and to enheret them with the seate of glory. For the pyllers of the earth are the Lordes, and he hath set the rounde worlde vpon them. ⁹ He wil kepe the fete of his sainctes, but the wicked shal kepe silence in darkenesse. For in his own myght shal no man be strong. ¹⁰ The Lordes aduersaryes shall be made to feare hym: and out of heauen he shal thunder vpon them. The Lorde shall iudge the endes of the worlde, and shall geue myght vnto his Kynge, and exalte the horne of his anoynted.

² My soule shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall heare therof, & be glad. ³ O prayse the Lord wyth me, and let vs magnyfye hys name together.

⁹ But let my soule be ioyfull in the Lorde, and reioyse in hys helpe.

¹ Of Dauid. Prayse the Lorde O my soule: & all that is within me prayse hys holy name. ² Prayse the Lord O my soule & forget not all his benefites.

¹⁵ & praise the name of the Lorde God of Israel, in the valeys, and Ilandes. ¹⁶ We heare sunges sung to the prayse of the righteous, from al the endes of the worlde. Therefore I must speake: O myne vnfrutefulnesse, O my pouerte. Wo is me, all is full of synners, whiche offende of purpose and malice.

²⁵ And the whole sede of Israel shalbe iustyfyed, and praysed in the Lorde.

¹⁰ And therfore I am ioyful in the Lorde, and my soule reioyseth in my God. For he shall put vpon me the garment of health, & couer me with the mantle of righteousnes. He shal decke me lyke a brydegrom, and as a bryde that hath her apparell vpon her.

¹⁷ For the fygge trees shall not be grene, & the vynes shall beare no frute. The laboure of the olyue shalbe but lost, & the lande shall bringe no corne: the shepe shalbe taken oute of the fold & there shalbe no catel in the stalles. ¹⁸ But as for me, I wyll be glad in the Lorde, and wyll reioyce in God my sauyoure.

¹¹ Not only so, but we also ioy in god by the means of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, by whom we haue receiued the attonment.

³¹ That accordynge as it is written: he whiche reioiseth should reioyse in the Lorde.

¹⁴ Thankes be vnto God whiche alwayes geueth vs the victorye in Christ, and openeth the sauour of hys knowledge by vs in euerye place.

³ For we are cyrcumcysion, whyche worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christe Iesu, and haue no confidence in the fleshe,

⁴ Reioyce in the Lorde alway, and agayne I say reioyce.

⁸ whome ye haue not sene, and yet loue hym, in whome euen nowe, thoughe ye se hym not, yet do you beleue: and reioyce with ioye vnspeakeable and gloryous:
