¹⁸ For I say vnto you: I wyll not drinke of the frute of the vyne vntyll the kyngdome of God be come.

¹³ And the vyne aunswered, shulde I leaue my wyne that cheareth both God & man & go to be promoted ouer the trees.

¹⁵ wyne to make glad the herte of man, oyle to make hym a chearfull countenaunce and bread to strength mans herte.

⁶ Geue strong drinke vnto suche as are condempned to death, & wyne vnto those that mourne: ⁷ that they may drinke it, & forget their misery and aduersitie.

¹ Come into my garden O my sister, my spouse: I haue gathered my Myrre with my spyce. I wil eate my hony and my hony combe, I will drinke my wyne and my mylke. Eate, O ye frendes, drynke & be mery, O ye beloued.

⁹ there shal no more wyne be droncke wyth myrth, the beere shalbe bytter to them that dryncke it, ¹⁰ the wicked cytyes shalbe broken donne, al houses shalbe shut, that no man maye come in. ¹¹ In the stretes shall there be lyft vp a crye because of wine, al mens chere shall vanyshe awaye & al ioye of the earth shal passe.

⁶ Moreouer the Lorde of Hostes shall ones prepare a feaste, for all people vpon the hyll: A plenteous, costly, pleasaunt feaste, of fat & wel fede beastes, of swete & most pure thinges.

¹ Come to the waters all ye, that be thurstye, & ye that haue no money. Come, bye, that ye maye haue to eate. Come bye wine & mylcke, without any money or money worth.

⁴⁴ In the dayes of these kinges shall the God of heauen set vp an euerlastynge kyngdome whiche shall not peryshe, and hys kyngdome shall not be geuen ouer to another people: yea the same shal breake and destroy al these kingdomes, but it shall endure foreuer.

¹⁵ The Lorde of hostes shall defende them, they shall consume and deuoure, & subdue them with slyng stones. They shal dryncke & rage as it were thorow wyne. They shalbe fylled like the basens, & as the hornes of the aulter.

¹⁷ O how prosperous & goodlye a thinge shall that be? The corne shall make the yong men chearefull, and the newe wyne the maydens.

¹⁸ And I saye also vnto the that thou arte Peeter: and vpon thys rocke I wil buylde my congregacion. And the gates of hell shall not preuayle against it.

²⁹ I saye vnto you: I wyll not drinke henceforth of this frute of the vyne tree, vntyll that daye, when I shall drinke it newe wyth you in my fathers kyngdome.

¹ And he sayd vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you: There be some of them that stande here, whiche shall not taste of death tyll they haue sene the kyngedom of God come wyth power.

²³ And he toke the cup, gaue thankes, & gaue it to them, & they all dranke of it.

²⁵ Verely I saye vnto you: I wyll drinke no more of thys frute of the vyne, vntil that day, that I drinke it newe in the kingdome of God.

²³ and they gaue hym to drynke wyne myngled wyth myrre, but he receyued it not.

²⁷ And I tell you of a surtye. Ther be some of them that stande here, which shall not taste of death, tyll they se the kingdome of God.

³¹ So likewyse ye (when ye se these thinges come to passe) vnderstande that the kingdome of God is nye.

¹⁶ For I saye vnto you: henceforth I wyll not eate of it anye more, vntill it be fulfylled in the kingdome of God.

³⁰ Therfore seiyng he was a Prophet, and knew that God had sworne wyth an othe to hym, that the fruyte of hys loynes shoulde sit on hys seat (in that Christ shoulde ryse agayne in the flesh) ³¹ he sawe before: and spake of the resurreccion of Christ, that hys soule shoulde not be lefte in hell: neyther hys fleshe should se corruption. ³² Thys Iesus hath God raised vp wher of we all are witnesses. ³³ Sence nowe that he by the ryght hand of God is exalted, and hath receiued of the father the promyse of the holy ghost, he hath shed forth, that whyche ye now se and heare. ³⁴ For Dauid is not ascended into heauen: but he sayd: The Lord said to my Lord, syt on my ryght hande ³⁵ vntyll I make thy fooes thy fote stole. ³⁶ So therefore let all the house of Israell knowe for a surety, that God hath made the same Iesus whom ye haue crucifyed, bothe Lord and Christe.

¹⁸ and be not drounke wt wyne. wherin is excesse, but be fulfylled wyth the spirite, ¹⁹ speakinge vnto your selues in Psalmes, and Hymnes, and spiritual sounges, singing and makinge melodye to the Lorde in your hertes,

¹³ Which hath deliuered vs from the power of darcknes and hath translated vs into the kyngdome of his deare sonne,
