³⁶ As they thus spake. Iesus him selfe stode in the middes of them, and saide: Peace be with you.

¹⁸ But yf I may se his right way againe, I make hym whole, I lede him and restore him vnto them, whome he maketh ioyfull, and that were sorye for him.

¹³ And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come vpon it. But if it be not worthy, your peace shall retourne to you againe.

¹⁴ After that he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and caste in theyr tethe theyr vnbelese and hardnes of hert: because they beleued not them which had sene hym after hys resurreccyon.

⁵ Into whatsoeuer house ye enter, fyrste saye: Peace be to thys house.

²⁷ Peace I leaue with you, my peace I geue vnto you. Not as the worlde geueth, geue I vnto you. Let not your hertes be greued, neyther feare ye.

³³ These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me you myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall you haue tribulacyon: but be of good cheare. I haue ouercome the worlde.

¹⁹ The same day at night, which was the morowe after the saboth day, when the dores wer shut, wher the disciples were assembled together for fear of the Iewes, came Iesus and stode in the myddes, and saide to them: peace be wyth you. ²⁰ And when he had so sayed, he shewed vnto them his handes, and hys syde. Then were the dyscyples glade when they sawe the Lorde. ²¹ Then sayde Iesus to them agayne: peace be with you. As my father sente me euen so sende I you. ²² And when he had sayd that he brethed on them and sayde. Receyue the holy ghost. ²³ Whosoeuers synnes ye remyt they are remitted vnto them. And whosoeuers synnes ye retayne, they are retayned.

²⁶ And after .viij. dayes agayne, hys dyscyples were wythin, and Thomas wyth them. Then came Iesus when the dores were shut, and stode in the middes and sayd: peace be wyth you.

⁵ and that he was sene of Cephas, then of the twelue.
