²³ But take ye hede: beholde I haue shewed you all thynges before.

⁷ For what is he, that euer was lyke me, which am from euerlastinge? Let hym shewe hys name, and do where thorow he may be likened vnto me. Let him tell you forth planely thinges, that are past & for to come: ⁸ yee and that without any feare or stoppe. For haue not I euer tolde you hytherto, and warned you? Ye can beare me recorde youre selues. Is there any God excepte me? or any maker, that I shuld not knowe hym.

¹⁵ Beware of false Prophetes, whiche come to you in shepes clothing, but inwardly they are rauenynge wolues.

⁵ and Iesus aunswered them, and began to saye: take hede leste any man deceyue you.

⁹ But take ye hede to your selues. For they shall brynge you vp to the counsels, and into the synagoges, & ye shall be beaten: ye & shalbe broughte forthe rulers & kynges for my sake for a testimoniall vnto them.

³³ Take hede, watche and pray, forth ye know not when the tyme is.

⁸ And he sayd: take hede that ye be not deceiued. For manye wyll come in my name saiynge: I am he and the tyme draweth neare. Folowe not them therfore.

³⁴ Take hede to your selues, lest youre hertes be ouercome with surfetinge and dronkenes and cares of this worlde: and that that day come not on you vnwares.

²⁹ And nowe haue I shewed you before it come, that when it is come to passe, ye myght beleue.

¹ These thynges haue I sayed vnto you, because ye shoulde not be offended. ² They shall excommunicate you: ye the tyme shall come, that whosoeuer kylleth you, wil thinke that he doeth god seruice. ³ And suche thinges shall they do vnto you, because they haue not knowen the father, neyther yet me. ⁴ But these thynges haue I tolde you, that when that houre is come ye myghte remember them that I tolde you so. These thynges sayde I not vnto you at the begynnynge, because I was present with you.

¹⁷ Ye therfore beloued, seynge ye knowe it before hand, beware lest ye be also plucked away with the errour of the wycked, and fall from your own stedfastnes,
