² sayinge to them. Go into the towne that lyeth ouer agaynste you, and anone ye shal fynde an Asse bound, & her colte with her: lose them, and bringe them vnto me.

¹⁸ And he sayde: go into the cytye vnto suche a man, & saye to hym: the mayster sayth my tyme is at hande, I wyll kepe myne easter at thy house wyth my disciples.

² and sayde vnto them: Go your wayes into the toune that is ouer agaist you. And assone as ye be entred into it, ye shal fynde a coolte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose hym, and brynge hym hyther. ³ And yf any man say vnto you: why do ye so? Saye that the Lorde hath nede of hym: and strayghte waye he wyll sende hym hyther.

¹³ And he sente forthe two of his disciples, and sayed vnto them: Go ye into the citye: and there shal a man mete you bearynge a pycher of water, folowe him. ¹⁴ And whyther soeuer he goeth in, say ye to the good man of the house: the maister axeth: where is the gest chambre, where I shall eat the easter lambe wt my disciples. ¹⁵ And he wyll shew you a great parloure, paued & prepared: there make readye for vs. ¹⁶ And his discyples went forth, and came to the citie, and founde as he had sayd vnto them: & made ready the easter lambe.

³⁰ saiynge: Go ye into the toune whiche is ouer againste you, In the whiche assone as ye are come, ye shall fynde a colt tyed, whereon yet neuer man sate. Lewse him, and bring him hither. ³¹ And yf anye man axe you, why that ye lewse him: thus say vnto him: the Lorde hath nede of hym. ³² They that were sente, wente theyr waye, & founde as he had sayed vnto them.

⁵ His mother sayd vnto the mynisters: whatsoeuer he saith vnto you, do it. ⁶ And ther were standing there, sixe water pots of stone after the maner of the puryfiyng of the Iewes containinge two or thre fyrkins a pece. ⁷ And Iesus sayd vnto them: fill the waterpottes with water. And they filled them vp to the bryme. ⁸ And he sayd vnto them: drawe out now, & beare vnto the gouerner of the feaste. And they beare it.
