And they shal be the last in that iourney with theyr standertes. ³² These are the summes of the chyldren of Israel in the houses of their fathers: euen all the nombres of the hostes with their companyes .vi. hundred thousande .iij. thousand .v. hundred and fifty. ³³ And yet the Leuites were not nombred among the chyldren of Israell, as the Lord commaunded Moses. ³⁴ And the chyldren of Israel dyd accordyng to all that the Lord commaunded Moses, and so they pitched with their standertes, & so they iourneyd euery man in hys kynred, and in the houshold of hys father.

⁵⁰ But thou shalte appoynt the Leuites vnto the habitation of witnesse, and to all the apparell thereof and vnto all that longeth therto. For they shal bear the tabernacle and al the ordinaunce therof, and they shall minister it, and shall pytche theyr tentes rounde about it.

⁵² And the chyldren of Israel shall pytche theyr tentes, euerye man in hys owne company and euery man bi his owne standart thoroweout al theyr hostes. ⁵³ But the Leuites shall pytche rounde aboute the habitation of witnes, that there fall no wrathe vpon the congregation of the children of Israel, and the Leuites shal wayte vpon the habitation of wytnesse.

¹⁸ Then the standert of the hoste of Ruben went forth wyth theyr armyes, whose captayne Elizur the sonne of Sedeur.

²² Then the standert of the hoste of the chyldren of Ephraim went forth wt their armies whose captayne was Elisama the sonne of Amiud.

²⁵ And hyndmost of al the hoste came the standert of the hoste of the chyldren of Dan wyth theyr armyes: whose captayne was, Ahiezer the sonne of Ammi Saddai.

⁴ So yet that there be a space betwene you and it, aboute a two thousande cubytes by measure. And come not nye vnto it, that ye maye knowe the waye by which ye must go: for ye haue not gone by it in tymes past.

¹¹ Loke what ye promise vnto the Lord your God, se that, ye kepe it, all ye that be rounde about him: brynge presentes vnto hym that ought to be feared.

¹⁰ Then shal the Gentyles enquere after the rote of Iesse (whiche shalbe set vp for a token vnto the Gentyles) for hys dwellinge shalbe glorious. ¹¹ At the same tyme shal the Lord take in hande agayne, to conquere the remnaunt of hys people (whiche are left alyue.) From the Assirians, Egypcians, Arabians, Morians, Elamites, Ealdeyes, Antiochiaus, and Ilandes of the sea. ¹² And he shal set vp a token amonge the Gentyles, and gather together the dispersed of Israel, yea and the out castes of Iuda from the foure corners of the world.

⁶ Crye oute, and be glad, thou that dwellest in Sion, for greate is thy prince, the holy one of Israell.

³ Yea, al ye that syt in the compasse of the worlde, and dwell vpon the earthe, when the token shalbe geuen vpon the mountaynes, then loke vp: & when the horne bloweth, then herken to,

⁷ that sayde vnto me: O thou sonne of man, this rowme is my seate, and the place of my fotesteppes: where as I wyll dwell amonge the chyldren of Israell for euermore: so that the house of Israell shall nomore defyle my holye name: nether they, ner their kynges, thorowe their whordome, thorowe their hye places, and thorowe the deed bodyes of their Kynges:

¹⁶ The Lorde their God shall delyuer them in the day, as the flock of his people: for the stones of his Sanctuary shalbe set vp in his land,

³³ For God is not causer of strife, but of peace, as he is in all other congregations of the sainctes.

⁴⁰ And let al thynges be done honestlye and iu ordre.

²⁷ Onlye let your conuersation be as it becommeth the Gospell of Christ, that whether I come and se you, or els be absent, I maye yet heare of you, that ye continue in one spyrite, and in one soule, labouring as we do, to mayntayne the fayth of the Gospell,

¹⁹ and holdeth not the head, wherof all the bodye by ioyntes and couples receyueth nouryshment, & is knyt together, & encreaseth wyth the increasynge that cometh of God.

⁷ of the trybe of Iuda Nahesson the sonne of Aminadab:

¹² He that offered his offering the fyrst day, was Nahesson the sonne of Aminadab of the trybe of Iuda.

¹⁷ and for peaceofferynges .ij. oxen .v. rammes .v. he gootes and .v. lambes of a yere olde: and this was the gyfte of Nahesson the sonne of Aminadab.

¹⁹ The children of Iuda: Er & Onan, whiche dyed in the lande of Canaan. ²⁰ But the chyldren of Iuda in theyr kynred were: Sela of whom cometh the kynred of the Selamites: & of Phares cometh the kynred of the Pharesites: and of Zareh cometh the kynred of the Zarehites. ²¹ And the children of Phares were Hesron, of whom cometh the kynred of the Hesronites: and of Hamul commeth the kynred of the Hamulites. ²² These are the kinredes of Iuda, in numbre .lxxvi. thousand & fyue hundred.

² For vnto Iuda whych was mightie amonge hys brethren, was geuen the principalitye before hym. But the byrthryght was geuen Ioseph.

⁴ Aram begat Amidadab: Aminadab begat Naasson: Naasson begat Salmon:

¹⁸ The seconde day, dyd Nathanael offer, the sonne of Zuar, captayne ouer Izachar.

²³ and for peaceofferynges .ij. oxen .v. rammes, fyue he gootes and fyue lambes of one yere olde. And thys was the offeryng of Nathanael the sonne of Zuar.

¹ The sonnes of Ruben the eldest sonne of Israel: for he was the eldest. But because he defyled his fathers beed, his byrthryght was geuen vnto the sonnes of Ioseph the sonne of Israel, and so he is not rekened vnto the byrthe ryght.

²¹ Then the Cahathites went forward and bare the holy thynges, and the other dyd set vp the habitacion agaynst they came.

⁵ For though I be absent in fleshe: yet am I present with you in the spirite ioyenge and beholdinge the order that ye kepe, and your stedfast faith in Christ.

⁵ Now therfore, thy two sonnes Manasses & Ephraim, which were borne vnto the before I came to the, into Egypte, shalbe myne: euen as Ruben and Symeon shal they be vnto me.

¹⁴ And Israel stretched oute hys ryghte hand & layd it vpon Ephraims head which was the yonger, and hys lyft hande vpon Manasses heed, crossynge hys handes, for Manasses was the elder. ¹⁵ And he blessed Ioseph saying: God before whome my fathers Abraham and Isaac dyd walke, and the god whyche had fedde me all my lyfe longe vnto thys day, ¹⁶ And the augell which hath delyuered me from al euyll, blesse these laddes: that they may be called after my name, and after my father Abraham and Isaac, and that they may growe & multiplye vpon the erth. ¹⁷ When Ioseph sawe that hys father layde his ryght hand vpon the heade of Ephraim, it displeased him. And he lyfte vp his fathers hande, to haue remoued it from Ephrayms head vnto Manasses head, ¹⁸ and sayde vnto hys father: Not so my father, for thys is the eldest. Put thy ryght hande vpon hys head. ¹⁹ And hys father wold not: but sayd: I knowe it well my sonne, I knowe it well. He shalbe also a people & shalbe great. But of a truth hys yonger brother shalbe greatter than he, and hys seed shall be full of people. ²⁰ And he blessed them sayinge. At the ensample of these, the Israelites shal blesse and say: God make the as Ephraim and as manasses. Thus sett he Ephraim before Manasses.

¹⁰ Amonge the chyldren of Ioseph: of Ephraim, Elisama the sonne of Amihud: of Manasse, Gamaliel the sonne of Pedazur:

³² Amonge the chyldren of Iosephe: fyrste among the children of Ephraim: their generation, in theyr kinredes and houses of their fathers (when the names of all that were apte to warre were tolde) frome .xx. yeares and aboue:

⁴⁸ The seuenth daye, Elisama the sonne of Amiud, the chefe Lord of the children of Ephraim, offered.

¹⁷ his beutye is as fyrsteborne oxe and hys hornes as the hornes of an vnycorne. And wyth them he shal push the nations togyther, euen vnto the endes of the world. These are the many thousandes of Ephraim and the thousandes of Manasses.

²⁶ and his sonne Laadam, and his sonne Amihud, and his sonne Elisama, ²⁷ and his sonne Nun and hys sonne Iosua.

¹ To the chaunter, vpon Sosanim, a Psalme of Asaph. Heare O thou shepeherde of Israel, thou that leadest Iacob lyke a flocke of shepe: shew thy self, thou that sittest vppon the Cherubyns. ² Before Ephraim, Beniamin, and Manasses: stirre vp thy power, & come help vs.

¹⁸ Moreouer I hearde Ephraim, that was led awaye captyue, complayne on thys maner: O Lorde, thou haste correcte me, and thy chastening haue I receyued, as an vntamed calfe. Conuerte thou me, and I shalbe conuerted, for thou arte my Lorde God: ¹⁹ Yea as sone as thou turnest me, I shall refourme my self: and when I vnderstande, I shall smyte vpon my thyghe. For verelye I haue committed shamefull thinges: O let my youth beare this reprofe and confusyon. ²⁰ Vpon this complainte, I thoughte thus by my selfe: is not Ephraim my deare sonne? Is he not the chylde, with whom I haue had all myrthe and pastyme? For sence the tyme that I fyrst commened with him, I haue him euer in remembraunce: therfore my verye herte dryueth me vnto hym, gladly and louynglye will I haue mercy vpon him, sayth the Lorde.

Kahath begate Amram, ⁵⁹ and Amrams wyfe was called Iochebed a daughter of Leui, whyche was borne hym in Egypte. And she bare vnto Amram, Aaron, Moses, & MyrIam theyr sister. ⁶⁰ And vnto Aaron were borne, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar & Ithamar. ⁶¹ But Nadab & Abihu dyed, as they offered straunge fyre before the lord. ⁶² And the numbre of them was .xxiij. thousande of all the males from a moneth olde & aboue For they were not numbred among the children of Israel, bycause there was no enheritaunce geuen theym amonge the children of Israel.

⁴² accordyng to all that the Lord commaunded Moses: euen so the chyldren of Israel made al the worke.

² The chyldren of Israell shall pitch euerye man by his owne standarte wyth the armes of theyr fathrrs houses, awaye from the presence of the tabernacle of wytnes.

⁵ Howe goodlye are the tentes of Iacob & thyne habitation Israel, ⁶ euen as the brod valeys, and as gardens by ryuers syde, as the tentes whyche the Lodre hath pytched & as cypres trees vpon the water.

⁶ So shoulde I not be confounded while I haue respecte vnto all thy commaundemente

⁶ Both were perfect before God, and walked in al the lawes and ordinaunces of the Lorde, that no man coulde fynde faute with them.
