²² And the children of Israel remoued from Cades & went vnto mount Hor wyth all the congregation.

²⁶ And they went and came to Moses and Aaron & vnto all the multitude of the chyldren of Israell, vnto the wyldernesse of Pharan: euen vnto Cades, and broughte them worde and also vnto all the congregation, and shewed them the frute of the lande.

¹ And the whole multitude of the chyldren of Israell, came into the deserte of Syn in the fyrste moneth, and the people dwelt at Cades. And ther dyed MirIam, and was buried ther.

¹⁴ And Moses sente messengers from Cades vnto the kyng of Edom. Thus sayeth thy brother Israel. Thou knowest al the trauel that hath happened vs,

¹⁶ Then we cried vnto the Lorde and he hearde oure voyces, and sent an angell & hath fet vs oute of Egypte. And beholde, we are in Cades a city harde by the borders of thy contry

⁴ Then they departed from mount Hor toward the red sea: to compasse the land of Edom. And the soules of the people faynted by the way.

³⁶ And they remoued from Ezeon gaber, and pitched in the wyldernesse of Sin, whyche is Cades. ³⁷ And they remoued from Cades, and pitched in mount Hor in the edge of the land of Edom. ³⁸ And Aaron the Preast went vp into mount Hor at the commaundement of the Lord and dyed there, euen in the fortieth yere, after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, and in the fyrst day of the fyft moneth.

⁷ And thys shalbe youre north quarter: ye shal compasse from the great sea vnto mount Hor.

¹⁹ The southsyde is, from Thamar forth to the waters of stryfe vnto Cades, the ryuer, to the mayne sea: and that is the south parte.

²⁸ Vpon the borders of Gad southwarde, the coastes shall reach from Thamar forth vnto the waters of stryfe to Cades, and to the floude, euen vnto the many sea.
