⁵ And the Lorde put a sayinge in Balams mouth and sayd: go agayne to Balac & say on thys wyse.

²⁰ And God came vnto Balam by nyghte and sayd vnto hym: If the men come to fette the ryse vp & go wyth them: but what I say vnto the, that onely thou shalt do.

³⁵ And the angel sayed vnto Balam, go wyth the men: but in any myse, what I saye vnto the, that saye. And Balam went with the lordes of Balac.

¹⁶ And the Lorde mette Balam and put wordes in hys mouth and sayd: go agayne vnto Balac and thus say.

¹⁸ I wyl rayse them vp a prophet from among their brethren lyke vnto the & wyll put my wordes into his mouth & he shal speake vnto them al that I shal commaunde him.

¹ A man may wel purpose a thinge in his herte, but the answere of the tong commeth of the Lord,

⁹ A man deuyseth awaye in his herte, but it is the Lorde that ordreth hys goynges.

¹⁶ I shall put my worde also in thy mouth, & defende the with the turninge of my hande: that thou mayest plante the heauens, and laye the foundacyns of the earth, and saye vnto Sion: thou arte my people.

²¹ I wyll make this couenaunt with them (sayeth the Lorde): My spirite that is come vpon the, and the wordes whyche I haue put in thy mouthe, shall neuer go out of thy mouthe, nor oute of the mouth of thy childers chyldren, from this tyme forth for euermore.

⁹ And with that, the Lorde stretched oute his hande, and touched my mouthe, and sayde moreouer vnto me. Beholde I put my wordes in thy mouth,

¹² For the holye ghost shal teache you in the same houre, what ye ought to saye.
