⁷ He wyll not be afrayed for anye euyll tydynges, his herte standeth fast, and beleueth in the Lord.

¹ Of Dauid. The Lorde is my lyghte and my health: whome then shoulde I feare? the Lorde is the strength of my life, for whom then shuld I be afraied? ² Therfore when the wycked, euen myne enemies and my foes, came vpon me, to eate vp my flesh, stombled and fell. ³ Thoughe an hooste of men were layed agaynst me, yet shall not my hert be afrayed: and though there rose vp warre agaynst me, yet wyll I put my trust in him.

⁴ I sought the Lorde, and he herde me, yea he delyuered me out of all my feare.

³ Neuerthelesse, when I am afrayed, I put my trust in the. ⁴ I will comforte my selfe in Gods worde, yea, I will hope in God, & not feare: What can flesh then do vnto me?

⁷ My hert is redy, O God, my herte is ready to synge and geue prayse.

⁸ O put your trust in him alway (ye people) poure oute youre hertes before hym, for God is our hope. Selah.

¹⁰ The righteous shal reioyse in the Lorde, and put his trust in him: and all they that are true of hert, shalbe glad therof.

⁶ The lord is my helper, I wyll not feare what man doeth vnto me.

⁸ It is better to trust in the lord, then to put any cofydence in man. ⁹ It is better to trust in the lord then to put any confydence in prynces.

³³ But who so harkeneth vnto me shal dwel safely, and haue ynough without any feare of euell.

²⁵ Thou nedest not to be afrayed of any sodaine feare nether for the vyolent rushynge in of the vngodly, when it commeth. ²⁶ For the Lorde shal be besiege the, and kepe thy fote that thou be not taken.

³ And thou, whiche art the doar & hast the matter in hand, shalt prouyde for peace, euen the peace that men hope for in the. ⁴ Hope styl in the lord for in the Lorde God is euerlastyng strength.

¹⁶ Sidrach, Misach and Abednago aunswered the kynge, and sayde: O Nabuchodonosor, we oughte not to consente vnto the in this matter, for why:

⁹ But when ye heare of warre and dissencion, be not afrayed. For these thinges muste fyrste come: but the ende foloweth not by & by.

¹⁹ With your pacience possesse your soules.

¹ And he sayd vnto hys disciples: Let not youre hertes be troubled. Beleue in God & beleue in me.

²⁴ But none of these thinges moue me: neyther is my lyfe dere vnto my selfe: that I myght fulfyl my course with ioye, and the ministracyon whiche I haue receyued of the Lord Iesus, to testifye the gospell of the grace of God.

¹³ Then Paul aunswered and sayd: what do ye wepynge and breakyng myne hert? I am ready not to be bound onelye: but also to dye at Hierusalem for the name of the Lorde Iesus.

²⁵ Wherfore Syrs be of good cheare: for I beleue God, that so it shal be euen as it was tolde me.
