³ Though the waters of the sea raged and were neuer so troublous, and thoughe the mountaynes shoke at the tempest of the same. Selah.

⁴ Lorde when thou departedest out of Seir and camest from the feldes of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heauen rayned, & the cloudes dropped water: ⁵ the mountaynes mealted before the Lorde, euen mounte Sinai before the Lorde God of Israel.

¹¹ And he sayde: come out and stande before the Lorde. And beholde, the lorde went by and a myghty stronge wynde that rent the mountaynes, and brake the rockes before him. But the Lorde was not in the wynde. And after the wynde came an earthquake. But the lorde was not in the earthquake.

⁵ He translateth the mountaynes, or euer they be a ware, & ouerthroweth them in hys wrath. ⁶ He remoueth the earth oute of her place, that her pylers shake with all.

¹¹ saying: Hytherto shalt thou come, but no forther, & here shalte thou laye doune thy proude & hye waues.

⁴ The sorowes of deathe compassed me, and the brokes of vngodlynes made me afrayed.

³ The floudes aryse (O Lorde) the floudes lyft vp their noyse, the floudes lyfte vp theyr waues. ⁴ The waues of the sea are mightye, & rage horribly: but yet the Lorde that dwelled on hye, is mightier.

⁴ The mountaynes skipped like rammes, and the lytle hylles like yong shepe. ⁵ What ayled the, O thou sea, that thou fleddest so thou Iordan, that thou turnedest backe? ⁶ Ye mountaynes that ye skypped lyke rammes: and ye litle hilles, like yong shepe? ⁷ The earth trembled at the presence of the Lorde, at the presence of the God of Iacob.

³ I shewe you nowe my cause (O ye Cytesens of Ierusalem & whole Iuda:) Iudge I praye you betwixte me, & my vyneyarde.

¹² Wo be to the multitude of muche people, that rush in lyke the sea, and to the heape of folke, that runne ouer al lyke greate waters. ¹³ For thoughe so manye people increase as the flowynge waters, and though they be armed yet they fle farre of, and vanyshe awaye lyke the dust with the winde vpon an hill, and as the whirle winde thorow a storme.

²⁴ I behelde the mountaynes, and they trembled, and al the hilles were in a feare.

²² Feare ye not me, sayeth the Lorde? Are ye not ashamed, to loke me in the face? which bynde the sea wyth the sande, so that it can not passe hys boundes: For thoughe it rage, yet can it do nothynge, and thoughe the waues thereof do swell, yet maye they not go ouer.

⁴ The mountaynes shall consume vnder hym, and the valleyes shall cleue asunder, lyke as wax consumeth at the fyre, & as the waters runne downwarde. ⁵ The mountaynes tremble for him, the hylles consume. At the syght of hym, the earth quaketh: yee the whole world, and all that dwell therin.

²⁵ and aboundaunce of rayne descended, and the flouddes came, and the windes blew and bet vpon that same housse, and it fell not because it was grounded on the rocke.

²⁰ Euery Ile fleed away, & the mountaines were not founde.

¹⁵ And he sayde vnto me, the waters whyche thou saweste, where the whore sitteth are people, and folke, and nacions & tounges.
