¹³ Let them be confounded and perysh, that are agaynste my soule: let theym be couered with shame and dishonoure, that seke too do me euell.

² Then gathered the Iewes together in their cytyes within al the landes of kinge Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as woulde do them euill, & noman could withstand them: for the feare of them was come ouer all people.

¹⁰ All myne enemies shalbe confunded and sore vexed: yea they shalbe turned backe and put to shame, and that ryght soone.

⁴ Let them be confounded & put to shame, that seke after my soule: let theym be turned back and brought to confusion, that ymagin mischiefe for me.

²⁶ Let them be put to confusion & shame, that reioyse at my trouble: let them be clothed wt rebuke and dishonoure, that boost them selfes agaynst me.

¹⁴ Let them be ashamed and confunded, that seke after my soule, to destroye it: let them fall backwarde and be put to confusion, that wish me euell. ¹⁵ Let them soone be broughte to shame, that crye ouer me, there there.

²⁴ My tongue talketh of thy righteousnesse all the daye longe, for they are confounded and brought vnto shame, that soughte to do me euell.

²⁹ Let myne aduersaryes be clothed wyth their owne shame, as with a cloke.

¹⁸ As for hys enemyes, I shall clothe them wyth shame, but vpon hym selfe shall hys crowne florysh.

¹¹ Behold, all they that resyst the, shall come to confusyon and shame: & thine aduersaries shalbe destroyed and brought to naught.

¹¹ But the Lorde stode by me, lyke a myghtie giaunte: therfore my persecuters fell, and coulde do nothing. They shall be sore confounded, for they haue done vnwysely, they shall haue an euerlastynge shame.

⁵ Lykewyse ye yonger submit youre selues vnto the elder. Submit youre selues euerye man, one to another, knyt youre selues together in lowlines of mynde. For God resisteth the proude & geueth grace to humble.
