¹¹ Tush (saye they) howe shoulde God perceiue it? is there knowlege in the most hyest?

¹³ wilt thou therfore saye: Tush, how shoulde God know? Doth his dominion reach beyond the cloudes: ¹⁴ Tush, the cloudes couer him, that he may not se, for he dwelleth in heauen.

¹¹ For he sayeth in hys herte: Tushe, God hath forgotten, he hath turned awaye hys face, so that he wyll neuer se it.

²¹ Should not God fynde it out? for he knoweth the very secretes of the herte.

⁹ They stretche forth their mouthe vnto the heauen, and their tongue goeth thorow the worlde.

⁷ And yet they saye: Tushe, the Lorde seyth not, the God of Iacob regardeth it not.

¹ To the chaunter, a Psalme of Dauid. O Lorde, thou searchest me out, and knowest me. ² Thou knowest my doune sittyng and myne vprysinge, thou vnderstandest my thoughtes a farre of. ³ Thou art about my path & about my bed and spyest out all my wayes. ⁴ For lo, there is not a worde in my tonge, but thou, O Lorde knowest it altogether. ⁵ Thou hast fashioned me behynde and before, and layed thyne hande vpon me. ⁶ Such knowlege is to wonderfull and excellent for me, I can not atteyne vnto it.

¹² Then sayde he vnto me: Thou sonne of man, haste thou sene what the Senatoures of the house of Israel do secretly euerye one in hys chambre: For they saye: Tush, the Lorde seyth vs not, the Lord regardeth not the worlde.

² They consydre not in their hertes that I remembre all their wickednes. They go aboute with their owne inuencions, but I se them wel ynough.

¹² At the same tyme will I seke thorowe Ierusalem with lanternes, and vpset them that contynue in theyr dregges, and saye in theyr hertes. Tushe, the Lorde wil do neyther good nor euyll.
