¹³ O that my people wolde obeye me, for if Israel wolde walke in my wayes:

²⁹ Oh that they had such an hert wyth them to feare me and kepe al my commaundementes alway, that it myght go wel with them & with theyr children foreuer.

¹² And now Israel what is it that the Lord thy God requireth of the, but to feare the lord thy God and to walke in all hys wayes & to loue him & to serue the Lord thy God with al thyne herte, & with al thy soule, ¹³ that thou kepe the commaundementes of the Lorde & hys ordinaunces which I commaund the this day, for thy wealth.

²⁹ I would they were wyse and vnderstode thys & woulde consider their later ende.

¹⁸ Yf thou wilt now regarde my commaundement, thy welthynes shalbe as the water streame, and thy ryghteousnes as the waues flowynge in the sea.

³⁷ Ierusalem, Ierusalem which killest prophetes, and stone them which are sent to the: howe often would I haue gathered thy children together: as the henne gathered her chikens vnder her winges, but ye would not.

⁴¹ And when he was come neare, he behelde the citie, and wept on it, ⁴² saiyng: Yf thou haddest knowen those thynges which belong vnto thy peace, euen at thys thy tyme. But now are they hydde from thyne eyes.
