¹⁴ And I sayd vnto hym: Lorde thou wotest. And he said vnto me: these are they which came out of great tribulacion, and made their garmentes large and made them white, in the bloude of the lambe,

³ and cast for it .iiij. rynges of golde for the .iiij. corners of it: two rynges for the one syde & two for the other,

¹⁸ Nowe go to (sayth the Lorde) we will talke together. Is it not so? Thoughe youre synnes be as reade as scarlet, shal they not be whyther then snowe? And though they were lyke purple, shall they not be lyke white wolle?

³ Nowe Iesua was clothed in vnclean rayment, and stode before the aungel: ⁴ whiche aunswered and sayde vnto those, that stode before hym: take awaye the foule clothes from him. And vnto hym he sayd: Beholde, I haue taken away thy synne from the, and wil decke the with chaunge of rayment. ⁵ He sayde moreouer: set a fayre myter vpon his head. So they set a fayre myter vpon hys heade, and put on clothes vpon hym, and the aungel of the Lorde stode there.

¹ In that tyme shall the house of Dauid and the citesins at Ierusalem haue an open well, to wash of synne and vnclennesse.

²¹ For then shalbe great trybulacion such as was not from the beginninge of the worlde to this tyme, nor shalbe:

⁸ Peter sayed vnto him: thou shalt not washe my fete whyle the worlde standeth. Iesus aunswered hym: yf I washe the not, thou shalte haue no parte with me. ⁹ Simon Peter sayed vnto him: Lord not my fete onelye: but also my handes and my heade. ¹⁰ Iesus sayed vnto hym: he that is washed, neadeth not saue to washe hys fete, and is cleane euery whyt. And ye are cleane: but not al. ¹¹ For he knewe hys betrayer. Therfore sayed he: ye are not all cleane. ¹² After he had washed theyr fete, and receyued hys clothes, and was set doune agayne, he sayed vnto them. Wote ye what I haue done to you? ¹³ Ye call me mayster and Lorde, & ye saye well, for so am I. ¹⁴ Yf I then your lord and mayster haue washed your fete, ye also ought to wash one anothers fete.

³³ These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me you myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall you haue tribulacyon: but be of good cheare. I haue ouercome the worlde.

²² and strengthed the disciples soules exhortynge them to continue in the faith, affyrmyng that we must thorowe muche tribulacion enter into the kingdome of God.

³ Nether do we so only: but also we reioice in tribulacion. For we know that tribulation bryngeth pacience,

¹¹ And suche were ye verelye, but ye are washed, ye are sanctifyed, ye are iustifyed by the name of the Lorde Iesus, and by the spyryte of our God.

²⁶ to sanctifye it, and cleansed it in the fountayne of water thorowe the worde ²⁷ to make it vnto hym selfe a glorious congregation wythout spotte or wrinckle, or anye suche thinge: but that it shoulde be holy and wythout blame.

⁴ so that we oure selues reioyse of you in the congregacions of GOD ouer youre pacience and fayth in al youre persecucyons and trybulacyons that ye suffer,

¹⁴ Howe muche more shall the bloude of Christe (which thorow the eternall spyryte offred hym selfe without spot to God) pourge youre conscyences from dead workes, for to serue the lyuyng God?

¹² Therfore Iesus to sanctyfye the people wyth hys owne bloude, suffered wythout the gate.

¹⁹ but wyth the precyous bloud of christ as of a lambe vndefyled, and wythout spotte,

⁷ but and yf we walke (in light) euen as he is in lighte, then haue we felowshyppe wyth hym, and the bloude of Iesus Christe his sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.

⁵ and from Iesus Christ, whiche is a faythfull wytnes, and fyrst begotten of the dead, and Lorde ouer the kynges of the earth. Vnto him, that loued vs and washed vs from synnes in his owne bloude,

⁹ I knowe thy workes and tribulacion and pouertye, but thou art rych: And I know the blasphemy of them, whiche call them selues Iewes and are not, but are the congregacion of Sathan.

⁹ and they songe a new songe saiyng: thou art worthy to take the boke, and to open the seales therof: for thou wast kylled, & hast redemed vs by thy bloud out of al kynredes, and tonges, and people, and nacions

⁹ And when he opened the fyft seale, I saw vnder the aulter, the soules of them that were kylled for the word of God, & for the testymonye, whych they had, ¹⁰ and they cryed wyth a loude voyce sayinge: Howe longe tariest thou Lord holy and true, to iudge and to auenge oure bloud on them that dwell on the earth? ¹¹ And longe whyte garmentes were geuen vnto euery of them. And it was sayde vnto them that they should reste for a litle season vntyll the number of their felowes and brethren, & of them that should be kylled as they were, were fulfylled.

¹¹ And they ouercame hym by the bloude of the lambe, and by the worde of theyr testimony, and they loued not theyr liues vnto the death.

² And I sawe as it were a glassy sea, mingled wt fyre, & them that had gotten victory of the beast and of his ymage, and of his marke, & of the numbre of his name, stande on the glassye sea, hauinge the harpes of God,

⁶ And I saw the wyfe drounken with the bloude of Saynctes, and with the bloud of the wytnesses of Iesu. And when I saw her, I wondred wyth great maruayle.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that do his commaundementes that theyr power maye be in the tree of lyfe, & maye enter in thorowe the gates into the cite.
