³³ I have said all this to you that in me you may have peace; in the world you have trouble, but courage! I have conquered the world.

¹⁰ Well now, why are you trying to impose a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we ourselves could bear?

²⁸ The holy Spirit and we have decided not to impose any extra burden on you, apart from these essential requirements:

⁴ who comforts me in all my distress, so that I am able to comfort people who are in any distress by the comfort with which I myself am comforted by God. ⁵ For as the sufferings of Christ are abundant in my case, so my comfort is also abundant through Christ.

¹⁷ The slight trouble of the passing hour results in a solid glory past all comparison,

⁹ but he told me, "It is enough for you to have my grace: it is in weakness that [my] power is fully felt." So I am proud to boast of all my weakness, and thus to have the power of Christ resting on my life. ¹⁰ It makes me satisfied, for Christ's sake, with weakness, insults, trouble, persecution, and calamity; for I am strong just when I am weak.
